The Muny (St Louis)

Has anyone ever performed with the Muny? What did you think?

Have you seen a performance at the Muny?

DD auditioned last week and got the call that she will perform with them in June. We are excited, but new to the area and do not know anyone who has performed with them nor have we seen a performance because again we are new to the area.

I've seen performances there but it's been years ago. It's a St. Louis institution, and I should probably make an effort to get back there. Congrats to your DD!!!

Since she's performing in June, the humidity hopefully won't be too awful. It's sad, but the main thing I remember from that long-ago performance is how ungodly hot it was.

I've never performed there (not an actor or dancer), but the Muny is a professional Equity repertory company -- they are very good.

Congrats to your DD for getting in. Is she in MunyKids, or is she an adult? We're season ticket holders, so I'm sure I'll probably be seeing her.

As a PP said, the theater can be pretty toasty in the season. Invest in your misting fans and stadium seats now.

I have seen a couple of MUNY shows. The MUNY is on Forest Park in St. Louis which is a great place to explore. I love Forest Park.

It is an outdoor theater as I am sure you already know.
