We made it to Jungle Cruise, and were happy to see it was basically a walk on with a 5 minute wait posted, I doubt we even waited that long!
Once we got on, we were instructed to sit on the sacrificial altar. Soon we were off on our adventurous cruise.
Our trusty cruise captain
The jokes, of course, were corny, just how we love them on the Jungle Cruise. Since were right near Pirates of the Caribbean, we decided to pay Capt. Jack a visit, again with absolutely NO wait! With Pirates, it doesnt matter how many times I ride it, I always find new things I had never noticed before. It is truly Disney magic/
After our run in with Pirates, we noticed it was time for our Splash Mountain fast pass, which meant we could now get a new one, of course we chose Thunder Mountain.
I get so giddy on Splash Mountain, I love the soundtrack and the entire ride as a whole! I was so excited to be riding it! I believe on this go round we were in the back row and at the final drop, we didnt get too wet.we know where to sit if you want to get nailed with water!
We decided to head to Haunted Mansion next. On the way there, we saw Frontier Donald and we just had to meet him! We dont normally wait in character lines, but we were having such a successful day and it was our honeymoon!!
We noticed the skies looked like they were getting a gray, and the CM announced that if it began to rain, Donald would have to leave, but would return later, we were pretty close to the front of the line by now, so I hoped the rain would just hold off for a couple minutes more!
It started to drizzle and I started to panic...we had already waited a good 15 minutes to meet him, but low and behold, Donald held out the rain to take some pictures with us! I swear it was the ears because after us, he went inside as the rain started to pick up!
We headed to Haunted Mansion which had about a 20 minute wait posted, since it was raining, a lot of people headed into the line for shelter, us being already wet for Splash, really didnt notice it. Soon we were in the Haunted Mansion, this DHs favorite ride at Disney. Again, this is one of those rides that never gets old, no matter how many times you ride it, and I always find new things on this one too.
Luckily, once we were off of HM, the rain had stopped and sun was beginning to peak out again. It was time to ride Thunder Mountain, so we headed back to Frontierland to ride the wildest ride in the wilderness.
As always, it was great, but it did make me miss Space Mountain on this trip.
Since we could get another FP, we headed to Fantasyland for a Peter Pan FP because we all know how frustrating that line can be! Our return time was for a little later in the afternoon.
Seeing that we had accomplished so much in such a short amount of time, we decided to head back to Main Street to take some pictures and do some shopping before heading back to GF for a quick lunch and break.
On our way, I noticed the Sword in the Stone for the first time ever. A nice lady offered to take our picture.
Next, we stopped in the back of the castle to take some pictures with Cinderellas fountain which is where we got engaged.
Showing that I now have 2 rings on that finger!
Everyones favorite Fairy Godmother was out taking pictures. And once again, luck was on our side! We were the last ones allowed to get in line the CM was not allowing anyone else. We didnt wait too long, and it was so cute to see a little baby, must have been no older than 6 months old, take a pictures with the Fairy Godmother holding her! I cant wait to have those kinds of pictures with our own family one day.
Finally, it was our turn, and we could tell Godmother was ready to get to out of that costume because she quickly posed for a picture, and she was off. Not very great interaction, but I am sure she was standing there for a while and that metallic costume must get hot!
