How wonderful! The GF Concierge has a wonderful staff.. we've stayed many times and always felt so pampered!!!!
I know what you mean, it was like we didn't need to lift a finger and everyone was just so friendly! It is how vacation should be!

Let's see...I would definitely do Deluxe again, with or without concierge. We loved being so close to the MK or any park for that matter. As for the construction, there was a giant orange tractor thingy outside (I think pictures will show up later) which we could see from our view to the left. One morning they were painting outside our balcony, so the desk called us and advised us to keep the shades closed..didnt matter because we were going to be out all day. On other days it could be kind of loud when they were working, however, we were barely in the room to notice it and it would begin around 9 AM. i could see this being a problem for people who like to sleep on vacation or have small kids who need naps, but we werent bothered by it one bit, had we paid money for the room, we may have been a little more disappointed. Hope that helps!

I got goosebumps reading about your upgrade - how neat was that. Your room was beautiful (I don't think the construction would have been a bother esp since you are out at the Parks all day except if you wanted to nap). I would have been afraid to ask to move and not get another concierge room!
I had to laugh when I saw where you ended up at the CM parking lot
Leave it to modern technology to get a person lost (and your gut instints were right! Google/Yahoo or whatever had terrible instinks!!

DH and I still laugh about the CM parking lot, and it is not the last run in we have with CM parking lots on this trip. Stay tuned...

Our family lives in Illinois too and I am loving your trip report. Congratulations on your wedding and your honeymoon at GF! I recognized the rest stop in Tennessee right before the Georgia line. We try to stop there when we can because it is so beautiful with the lake outside.
