The Movie theaters at Downtown Disney

Has anyone been to the Movie theaters there? if so are they Stadium seating? and are they nice?

I have been there once and I would say it was well kept. It does have stadium-style seating which is always a plus. I would say it would be on them top of any movie theater I've been to.

It is one of the nicest in the area. We would rather drive 45 minutes to go there instead of going to our local one. I believe is has 24 theatres and my favorite is that you get to put your own butter on your popcorn Theatre's never put enough butter on.

I have to add here that the seats in the theater are the most comfy I've ever sat in and I am a serious movie-goer!

We were there in in 10/2001 for the opening week of Monsters Inc. We had a great time! It helped that my son was Sully for the Halloween party and we were able to get our first real look at Sully at the show.

They did request my video camera, however. I had to take it to the managers office, which seemed to be a half mile walk from our theater. Picking it up was interesting for a few seconds. When I went to pick it up they said that they were unaware of anyone leaving a videocam in their care. The gentleman must have seen the angered look coming to my face and quickly added "I'm sure it's in the managers office". It was and there wasn't a problem.
