Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much to all of you for your words of encouragement and support! I am thrilled to say that all is well with the world! I decided to call back tonight and see where it would go. I explained the situation to the rep and he said "I'm seeing that you are already booked at the AP rate." I was shocked. He proceeded to read on and tell me there was a note from Spring Hope in guest relations (yes, that really is the name she gave me) stating that after we spoke this afternoon, she went and spoke with her boss and they immediately gave me the AP rate. Apparently, she tried to call me but couldn't leave a message. I'm not sure what that was about, as I have voice mail, but who cares?! I got my AP rate and WL here we come! THANK YOU SPRING HOPE!!!!! :banana:

Great news. I was PO'd reading about your situation on the other post. I don't recall when you are going to WDW, but I would call and ask them to send a confirmation.

DW and I have stayed at the WL 19 times and think you will really enjoy it.
 
Great news, you might want to post this update to your orginial thread, as some might not realize they are one and the same.
 
From one pixie dust recipient to another, enjoy your trip. When will you be at WL? We're arriving June 18 for DD's 10th birthday on the 19th. I've already been dusted for that trip with a Cindy's lunch reservation, now just hoping for low crowds and cool weather. That's a joke of course!

We are going to Disney May 13-20. I am so excited that I just can't stand it! Staying at the WL has been a major part of that excitement and thinking it may not happen really put a damper on the whole thing, but honestly, I think that I was most disappointed in the attitude of the rep I spoke with. Disney has never been anything but a positive experience for my family, and their customer service is beyond compare. She really was the exception to the rule, but now that it is resolved, I guess I must realize that no one can be as happy as they always seem to be all of the time. I shall give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that this was just a bad day for her, and hope that she does not treat all Disney guests with the same attitude. If she does, then perhaps she shouldn't been working for "The happiest place on Earth!"
 
Heartwish, I had a similar experience with a CR cast member when booking our trip for last October. Called, made a reservation (I thought), then called back a few days later to change a few things around. The cast member I spoke with said I had no reservation, that it was noted that I was calling for rates only! I had given him a CC# and everything! I was livid, luckily this CM was able to get me a room but it would have been a disaster if I hadn't called back.

Please shoot an email to WDW to thank them and Spring Hope specifically. Obviously, it was WDW's fault, but it takes a CM who cares to make things right again.
