Glad you like SSR. I hope you are a DVC owner someday and our trips overlap. My good friend and I went with our big kids to the Lollipops today and talked about her big trip in May to the World, they are SSR owners and love it there.

Excited to hear about the next trip!

They do have *some*. A little wall of all prepackaged snacks. No more pretzels or anything like that. It's a shame!

I hope so too! I think actually staying in a DVC resort showed Rob how nice it really is to have all that extra space. Although we really did like the Sheraton Vistana too.

What kind of Mr. Potato Head parts did you get? Henry got one for Christmas this year, so I think this will be a good gift for him on our next trip!

What did you think of the hotel? It looks beautiful! Is it the one right across the street from DTD?

And on your DH liking SSR!!!!!!!!! It is a very peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing resort...I love that it's so close to DTD. Have you been checking those re-sale prices?

A quick "May Trip" update. I subbed to TGM today and luckily the days I had *thought* would be green are! YEAH! So I don't have to change up our ADRs at all. I'm so happy.

I told my brother today and I started to feel a little self-conscience. I sometimes forget when I'm talking about WDW that not everyone is obsessed like me and I feel like I freak them out a little.

Anyway, he seems excited, a little scared too.

This is exactly how it was with my family too - I would just go on and on with the trip plans to them in emails ...they would respond back with 2 or 3 sentences.

Yay for not having to switch everything around!!!

Oh this is so sad Drea, your TR is coming to an end! I am impressed though, it really seems like it was relaxing and for those of us who are obsessed with Disney, that isn't always easy to do!

Looks like the kids had a blast as well. Your pics are so sweet, you got some really adorable shots of them. Just think, you'll be back there in only 4 short months! I'm jealous! And I totally understand about your brother not getting into all the details. When I planned our trip with my in-laws, they didnt' care what time we got up, where we ate or what park we went to on what day! Can you imagine? They thought I was crazy to be so excited the morning my ADR window opened and I got all the reservations I wanted! They were like, 'can't we just decide where we want to eat when we get there?' Uh, nope, not unless you want to eat counter service all week! I should've expected this because they thought that Disney World was only the Magic Kingdom and that Epcot was a seperate entity. But they really appreciated all my hard work because the trip went smoothly which made all the hours I spent on the dis worth it! I think deep down, my in-laws thought I was crazy!

Looked like DTD was a perfect way to end your trip. We went there for the 1st time in Oct. and loved it. Somehow we missed the playground area though. You said it was hot that day, right? That was the day we got to Disney, the 25th! We were not pleased that it was so stinking hot and humid. It was definitely the trend for the rest of the week though. I would spend the morning straightening my hair only to have completely frizzed by 9:00am!! What a waste of time.

Looking forward to your final thoughts. I'm glad Rob enjoyed SSR, maybe you can get into DVC then! My DH is the opposite though, he LOVES the theming of the resorts. Actually he claims he only wants to stay at the GF from now on! I'm not complaining.

Oh no Drea! You had some horrible luck with the spilling of drinks. LOL!! Despite that and tired kiddos, you kept a great attitude it sounds like. I hope you're able to make another family trip sometime soon!
