I'm planning a combo Disney/Universal vacation consisting of about 6 days. 4 days will likely be Disney, 1 day will be Universal, the last day will be a bonus day (where we will do either/or).

It's a matter of how much time will be needed.

Our top priorities at Universal will be: the Simpsons Ride and tWWoHP

Our secondary priorities are: ET Ride, Jurassic Park ride, Shrek 4D, Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, Despicable Me, Men in Black, Seuss Landing (and quite possibly Revenge of the Mummy)

If we were to get the Express package with FoTL access AND the park-to-park, do you think that doing all the top and secondary priorities on the list will be possible in one day or will two be required?

When is your trip planned for? Harry Potter is not included in express pass.

I'm fully aware of this. I know that Forbidden Journey is not included in the express pass but Flight of the Hippogriff still is. I was referring to the general Harry Potter area which will probably spend some time in (as well as have lunch).

To answer your question: I'm aiming for a mid-May trip to overlap with the first of the Star Wars Weekends at WDW.

The year we went to US/IoA in May it was the week of the 16th. Crowds were low for us.
I would just plan to be at the park for open and do Harry Potter first thing. Do the few things you want there and then shift parks. We went last the January before HP opened. We did both parks no problem and that was towing my then 8 year old along. We did purchase the express access pass - one time each ride on the pass. Park hours may be later in May also.

Have you looked into getting an onsite room for one night? I don' tknow how many people are in your party, but you might compare the cost of the tickets you're looking at, to the normal park to park tickets and a hotel stay.

I like this site to see all three hotels at once.
