Goofy startled us both this morning at 7.15, and we were at the gates for EMH by 7.55. I was the first guest in the park and Jack the second.

Lots of lovely photos were taken and we took our time along Main Street and through the Castle. We too some photos in Fantasyland too.
We rode on Peter Pan and then Buzz, before our rumbly tumblys called us back down Main Street to the hotel for breakfast.
It was lovely as ever and we had a perfect window seat.
On the way out Abu was doing photos by the fireplace and had no queue, so I had a photo with him. I also bought a few thank you gifts and quiz prizes in the hotel shop, and a t-shirt for me.
We went back to the room and packed up and I had a quick bath before we checked out and put our luggage in the bag check. We headed back to the Magic Kingdom, waited for the Character Express (I finally got to see Daisy!)
and then went over to Discoveryland. We rode Star Tours first and then had another go on Buzz - we both got personal best scores and for once our guns weren’t in front of our faces so we bought the picture.
We then had a walked around the Nautilus and the queue for Autopia was pretty short so we went on, we both thought it was pretty fun really and I had a good laugh at Jack’s awful steering. We took some photos around Discoveryland before heading to Fantasyland to ride Small World one last time. We did some more Main Street shopping and before we knew it it was time for our lunch at Inventions. We were seated at a window seat again (we always had the same lady at the front desk for Breakfast and all the reservations we made, and she always made sure we got good seats because she knew about our engagement!) and lunch was really lovely, Jack only managed 2 slices of cheesecake though, and I was struggling by the end of 1!
Review here.
After lunch we sat in the lounge for a bit and I took some photos, also we needed time for our lunch to go down! On the way out I felt I wasn’t disney enough so I bought some pink Minnie princess ears with a crown and a veil!!
Then we headed back out to the Magic Kingdom. We headed up to Agrabah as we hadn’t fully admired it yet, and also walked through the Aladdin thing, which was better than we both remembered, shame about the annoying kids who though it was a queue for a ride and were running through fast screaming at each other.
Afterwards we climbed around the treehouse and took lots of photos and then went over to Adventure Isle and explored the caves (boat was shut) which was fun. We also had a last go on Pirates.
We walked through to Frontierland to go on BTM but it was shut and people were stuck on it, so we kept walking and had a browse in the Frontier trading post, where I bought an ace chalkboard for the kitchen with Tic & Tac on the top! I love it! It took ages to get it all wrapped up though as the ladies didn’t want it to break, so once we were all done it was almost Parade time, we decided to watch it from the seats at the castle stage, which was a great idea as we got a great view and a sit down! (Very very cold bums on the stone though.) Parade was lovely and we got the villains stop which was fun, also one of Mary Poppin’s penguins stole my princess ears which was very funny!
After the parade we hit fantasyland and rode on the Teacups, Dumbo and Peter Pan (all walk ons!) and then we started to feel really tired! We had a very slow walk back to frontier land but BTM was still our of service so we headed to Main Street and bought a few bits in the camera shop and then sat in the shelter of the discovery arcade for a bit.
Once we had a bit more energy we thought we’d do a loop on the railroad but when we got to the station the next train was only going to Fantasland so we walked over to Discoveryland and had a ride on Buzz, getting the best scores ever!! (Jack 500k me 400k) and then we chilled out in Videopolis for a while. It was almost Candlebration time so we had a last go on Star tours and then got into position for Candlebration at about 6.35.
It was more wonderful than I had remembered and surprised myself by not blubbing at all, we headed back to the hotel to pink up our bags, and as soon as I started walking away from the Castle I started crying and couldn’t stop the whole way down Main Street, it had been such a wonderful trip and it was so horrible that it was all over.
Check out time, and we said a very sad goodbye to the most wonderful hotel I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed at one which was voted 'best hotel in the world') so you know its good!!
We had a bit of a scrum checking in for the Eurostar, but found our seats easy in our half empty carriage. Dinner was actually really nice on the train, and my parents met us at Ashford.
