@Elevationist and myself after our ride on Kali Rapids. This was the second of probably 4-5 times we met that trip! Our first meeting was at the Star Wars Dessert Party and we just hit it off immediately.

The EPIC Pre-Trip

Hey everyone!! Our Epic Trip is coming up very soon! About 52 or so days for us. I can't believe it is almost here, it feels like this trip has been in the works for a long long time! All of us are so excited that some of us had to meet up earlier! A few of us were in Disney the last week of Feb/first week of March and I have to share our DISmeets!

A few of us met up at the VIPassholder event at MK on Feb 26th, expecting a night of short lines, and loads of fun...what we did NOT expect was the pouring rain for the first hour or so of the event. Regardless, we all headed out in the rain to meet at MK.

I first met up with @LindseyJo22 and her DH Will and we rode Pirates together!

OK so Steve and I had just come from the Storybook dinner with Snow White at WL so I obviously thought I still was a princess while Steve is trying his best to do his Pirate's "ARGH" or some sort of Grumpy pose, not sure. Lindsey and Will (first row) look like normal, sane people.

We then met up with @kastoney, her DH Jason, and the ever-amazing Casey!

We all look so...drenched.

Sadly Lindsey and Will left, probably because they are not crazy like us, and also they LIVE in FL now! So WDW is just a hop skip and jump away while we continued on the RAIN.

We met up with @StarWarsMomofGirls! Ariella, her DH Andy and their 2 beautiful daughters Morgan and Gwen outside of Peter Pan and we decided to go on IASW since it was right there and we could get OUT of the rain.

Then the kids made the very smart request to head to BTMRR. It was so empty that we rode it multiple times.

Welcome to the Chunkiest Ride in the Wilderness!!

Then we were on another Chunky Boat....this time at Pirates!

I am obviously still in Princess mode, but Steve has apparently taken on grumpy princess mode. LOL.

We all went on Space Mountain and the ended the night at the Chunky Peoplemover.
Luckily it seemed that the rain had come to an end...of course at the end of the event, LOL.

Thanks to these fabulous ladies (and gents) for helping me ring in my birthday, Disney style!

Later on the week we also met up at DHS and amazingly we all had FP+ for SDD at roughly the same time so we were able to ride together!

Welcome to the Chunky Dog Dash!

Casey and Gwen look ecstatic, don't they? Everyone loved the ride though!

On our last evening, we met up with Renee @ArielSRL, her DH Chad, and her cute boys AJ and Will over at the Yacht Club. We were just finishing dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse and they were just about to start dinner at Ale and Compass so that worked out well!

Sooo great to see old friends and new. I cannot wait for MAY!!

Next up I will post a couple more detailed plans for our meet up on May the 4th in Epcot in case anyone would like to join!

Epic Girls (and Guys) Trip Itinerary 2.0
(updated March 15th)

Hey everyone!! I thought I'd just provide a bit of an update and additional detail surrounding the various group events we have planned for the week of May 1-6 including our Epic Eat and Drink around the World!

I can't wait!


Wednesday May 1st:

8pm: Happily Ever After After Fireworks Dessert Party!
Attendees: Su-Lynn + Steve, Su-Queen, Billie, Sarah, Molly, Lesley, Caroline, Ariana

Thursday May 2nd:

11:45am: A few of us will be meeting up at Tiffins for lunch
Attendees: Su-Lynn, Steve, Su-Queen, Lesley, Karilynn, Ariana, Caroline
(still a few spots open if anyone is interested!)

At around 5pm another group will be meeting at Homecoming for dinner!
Attendees: Billie, Sarah, Fallon, Luke, Ariane

6:55pm Since my sister has requested it I'll be dining with her at
Storybook Dining at Artist Point
Attendees: Su-Lynn and Su-Queen (we have 2 more spots open) also meeting with Jenny and Joe who have ADRs at the same time!

At night, some people were also planning on doing the Star Wars Dessert Party at DHS.

Post-dinner some of us are meeting at one of the bars at Wilderness Lodge for some poolside drinks. I'm glad I get to be an honorary #wildernesslodgegirlsgonewild for a night!

Friday May 3rd:

9am: Lesley will be doing the new Taste of Magic Kingdom VIP Tour in the morning. (Because I was too late in booking, it was sold out for May 3rd. But Steve and I did this on our most recent trip 2 weeks ago and it was a lot of fun! If you want details on this PM me as I don't want to spoil it for some people.)
OK Looks like no one is doing this any longer!
I do plan to be in MK that morning however as our FP are here.

5:25pm: Our big Welcome Dinner at 'Ohana!
We have 3 ADRs booked for our group of more than 30 people!
Attendees: Su-Lynn + Steve, Su-Queen, Lesley, Billie, Sarah, Kari, Kelly (Buzzrelly), Lindsey, Renee +Chad, Ariane + Steve, Jenny + Joe, Fallon + Luke, Caroline, Lisa+mom Linda, Molly, Kara, Melinda + R, Mary and sister Kat, Karilynn, Glenda + Mark, Jenn, Ariana, Jackie
(whew, I hope I got everyone!)

'Ohana Means Family and we have a REALLY big one!!

After dinner we were going to hop on the monorail to see if we can all get up to Top of the World Lounge for more libations and to watch HEA. (I have heard that this is most likely not going to happen because of the size of our group but no worries we will just monorail bar hop!!)


Saturday May the 4th!

Happy Star Wars Day! Hopefully we're not too plastered from the night before because some of us SW fans will hightail it over to DHS in the morning for some May the 4th merchandise and some photo ops!

Then at 11:10am some of us are having lunch at Sci Fi Dine In.
Attendees: Su-Lynn, Su-Queen, Steve, Lesley, Ariana, Molly, Karilynn, Caroline, Jackie

Then everyone will collectively meet in Epcot World Showcase for our
Epic Eat and Drink around the World!
Wear your best Mickey ears, your finest F&G gear, your Star Wars Day emblems, or just come wearing...something...everyone is invited!!!

2pm Entrance at International Gateway see X on map:
Attendees: Everyone!

We will meet by that area right as you walk in at Int'l Gateway by the bridge where it's shady. If it's raining, we will have a backup plan. I vote we meet inside Les Halles at France if it does.

The plan is to start counter-clockwise from France and work our way around, pausing for food, drink, photopass, face-painting and other unmentionable shenanigans. Also there may be a detour to bubblegum wall near Spaceship Earth for a group picture!

7:30pm: We will end the evening with a spectacular Illuminations Cruise. We have to be at the Beach/Yacht Club dock at around 7:30pm.
We have 3 boats! How exciting!!

Sunday May 5th:

At around 10:15am we have another group event...this time at...Brunch at the TOP: California Grill! We also have quite a large group - almost 30 ppl. I think we have about 3 ADRs for this. This should make for a very nice LONG brunch! Mimosas for everyone!

I've never been and I'm looking forward to this event!
