I thought it would be fun to do a weekly poll or something, it won't decide what we'll do but it'll be fun to see what others say. I'll end up posting the results weekly.

This week is: What should we do for a girls night out?

I vote all of the above! Well, maybe we don't have time for that. There are lots of great ideas here though!

I thought it would be fun to share some pictures of those of us who have had DISMeets before! Please post pictures of your DISmeets whether it be in or out of Disney!

I have plenty of pictures to share (I seem to get around on the DISboards ) and can't wait to make many new memories in May!

And later that same week we all met up with Kelly at The Wave for breakfast! That's her other DD Devin who may be coming along in May, and on the left you have my DH, Steve who is not allowed to come on this trip.

Here's that time Kelly and I also met up with Lindsey (@LindseyJo22) at the Poly. Oh and guess, what all three of us now consider the Poly "home"

My meets with Tracy (@Tracy161) including a total surprise meet at BTMRR in 2015:

And we've even met up in NYC together! At the Disney store, of course!

And in August I also met Meghan (@MeghanEmily) the same week she got married!

And most recently during an unexpected trip to Disneyland I got to meet Lesley (@Lesley Wake )!! We enjoyed a night full of Star Wars!!

Update 7/18: Had to add Monica to the list who just joined our group. I just recently met @Monykalyn in June on my SOLO trip! We spent a long time chatting outside of PoTC and it felt like we've been friends for a while. That is the DISboards for ya!

Update 8/7: Karilynn (@Malia78) has decided to join our epic Girls trip so I must post a picture of our DISmeet in in 2017

(Kari has legs for days, and I'm the 8th Dwarf called Stumpy! )

Can't wait to meet everyone else!

Wow @chunkymonkey is definitely the reigning Queen of the Dismeets.

I don't have nearly as many but have managed a few. While there is little photographic evidence I've been lucky enough to meet 4 girls in the group to include Su-Lynn @chunkymonkey , Caroline @disneyAndi14 and , and Jenny @Jenny Sanders. Hoping on our trip in 31 days (not that I'm counting) I can finally meet Meghan @MeghanEmily and the newly married Melinda @pepperandchips.

And of course I couldn't forget my Disney spirit animal Ariane, @ariane37. We met with drinks in our hands, started cursing within minutes of meeting each other, and our bond was sealed.

Haha everyone is welcome for the walk around Epcot! I think it would be rather amazing if we people just showed up because they wanted to join us!

Lets, see I've been able to have several Dismeets so far (helps when I can grab anyone who is coming to Disneyland)! For the people following along here, I have:

@CatNipRules and @Raeven, briefly at Epcot in September 2017. We were supposed to have dinner together at Universal, but Hurricane Irma switched up schedules, so Lauren and I weren't at USO the day they all met. Also, randomly boarded the same monorail car as Raeven and Josh when we were hopping from Epcot to Magic Kingdom, so we got a monorail selfie!



@StarWarsMomofGirls! and her family in Disneyland, but she has the photo!

@amalone1013 and her DH, Zach, again at Disneyland!


And, @chunkymonkey already posted about our Star Wars night fun!

I also have a handful more of other Dissers at Disneyland, plus even a couple at Disneyland Paris!

Okay, Ladies! It's official!!

I'm IN!​

And booked too.

My mom has decided to go; it's been a long, long time since I've gotten to have some Mommy time and this was a perfect opportunity. I just booked us at the Coronado since we originally hail from the Southwest- so somewhat nostalgic for us. (Of course, having a bucket list of staying at all the resorts, and I've not done this one yet, has nothing to do with it. )

I've heard a rumor that a possible Group Meet might be in the works for some Cinco de Mayo drinks there?? We've got our room from the 3rd-9th and we're planning to make it to most, if not all, of the planned group events depending on how she's doing those days.

Bonus is that my birthday is the 8th, so we'll find a nice place to go that night. Not sure where, but stoked to be planning a really nice trip for us. Our ADR date is not until October 30th and I plan to see her in September, so we'll have some in person time to plan our trip.

Meantime, of all the group things we've got cooked up, I love them all. So glad I get to be part of this epic hang out!

1. Split stay 1 night Pop/3 nights at Wilderness Lodge, The Contemporary (Garden Wing), or Beach Club

2. 3-4 nights Pop (Preferred Room, Pool View)

3. 3-4 nights AoA

4. 3-4 nights POFQ

5. 3-4 nights Wilderness Lodge

6. 3-4 nights Contemporary (Garden Wing)

Choices, choices, choices...????????????

PS My daughter, Ashley said she will fight me if I stay at the Contemporary(It has QUICKLY become her favorite resort since staying there in June).

PSS The Beach Club is the only resort listed that I haven't stay at.

It looks like POFQ is the place to be for the majority of our group, but I am partial to WL! And of course, Beach Club is very alluring since you can walk to Epcot and you haven't stayed there yet! Sooo easy to decide

Hi Alison you should come! If you and Fran ever wanna get away for a weekend in May...
I still plan on going in March. May not be as long as I originally thought but I definitely wanted to do Flower and Garden more than once.

We've already got a trip in March and a trip in October, we'll have to pass on May. We have a few places besides Disney that we would like to visit.

Plus I have two weekends in March and April out at the VGC as well.
