The more I think about the reopening of the parks, the less excited I get.

I could not even imagine wearing a mask to any theme park in the summer. I would much rather wait and have a full experience instead of a subpar one. The only good thing would be the rides would be easier to get on.
This whole year so far has been a real bust. I was supposed to go to Ireland in July and that was rescheduled for next year and a yearly conference I was excited about was cancelled. (Big Bummer all around)

Count me in as not going if the parks aren't fully operational, and no character meals/meetings, or if we have to wear a mask. Our trip is planned for early fall and I'll just cancel and rebook for next year or 2022.

DD12 and I have a girls long weekend at WDW planned for September. If it's possible (and if things are relatively stable like they are now), we still plan to go. We will wears our masks and take breaks and make the best of it. DH wears a mask and face shield 8 hours a day while working on patients and he has complained exactly zero times during this entire pandemic, so I figure we can wear them at WDW and still enjoy ourselves. Our situation is a little different because this is not our first (nor will it be out last) WDW trip, so it won't be a problem for us if there's things we can't do this time. For one-and-doners (or first-time-in-a-long-timers) I completely understand why this year wouldn't be an ideal time to visit. But we're actually kind of excited (maybe interested is the better word?) to see how things will be different this time.
