The Minnie Club at Disneyland Hotel

We are booked at the Disneyland Hotel in December for 7 nights and I am wondering about the Minnie Club.

Is that a child minding facility, where you leave your children in the care of others?
Is there a charge for this facility?
And does anyone know the hours this operates?
Do they serve them a meal in the Minnie Club if they are there over a meal time?
Has anyone left their child/children there? Did the kids like it and were they happy to stay there?
If its a child minding facility, do the staff speak english or only french?

Any info about the Minnie Club would be geatly appreciated, especially from those who have had their children in there.

Hi

We used the minnie club when we went in March.When we were there I think it opened at 4pm-11pm. You can leave your child for a maximun of 2 hours, I think, no meals are provided. It is free and only available if staying in the DLH, we had to show our hotel pass. THey are looked after by CM, there are 3 rooms, with games, colouring etc. They look after them and playgames with them etc. You had to sign them in and out and leave contact numbers etc. My DD was 5 and loved it we left her twice, she kept asking to go again. We just turned up and left her the one day and the other day we booked. They can only take a certain number at a time.You can stay and use the facilitiies if you do not want to leave them.

The CM speak english.

Thank you Jo for your reply. The hours are similar to the Animal Kingdom Lodge at WDW, where we stayed earlier in the year.

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, but I was just a little worried about leaving my son by himself (without a brother or sister) in a foreign country if they didn't speak the language. But I think we will send him at least once during our stay.
