Ok, could Thumper who is depicted on the DVC planning guide & giclee print, have been a symbolic hint of AKV being the next DVC resort? Thumper is an animal, and is on the outside of the fence looking in.

Hmmmm, that paved walkway does look EXACTLY like a giraffe's skin, now that you mention it... :goodvibes

I wondered that exact same thing, too! Isn't Thumper in the topiary at HHI? But I figured there was probably more to it than that. Disney is always putting hidden meanings into everything (think Hidden Mickeys, for example). I'm even looking at the clouds in the picture, wondering if they're some hidden shapes!

OOH!! I just noticed one cloud is in the shape of Mickey. I bet most everyone else already noticed that, but I don't have the best imagination.

I would have thought that they would have put Tigger there instead! :lmao: :lmao:

I think you hit it on the head. Thumper IS in the topiary at HH.

An interesting observation. The only animal associated with DVC right now is Shadow, at HH, but they didn't use him. Thumper is not a main Disney character, is outside looking in, and is an animal, and Disney likes to do stuff like that (EG hidden mickeys (as in the center cloud), etc.).

Now, try as hard as I can, I can't see anything at all that looks like a hint for the Contemporary resort, so I guess that rumor will have to stay on hold for awhile. ..... :confused3

At least he has company with goofy and donald up there.

Maybe DVC is going to announce an offsite resort at the Playboy Mansion. :rolleyes1

Sometimes a rabbit is just a rabbit. :)

Are you like me, granny-still trying to find Goofy and Donald in that picture? Neither one of us has any Imagination!

Thanks for the chuckles, everyone! At least I can find SOMETHING to like about that cheesy giclee print! :lmao:

Oh, that is easy....

No Rabbits Allowed!!!!

After all, Rabbits bring with them a myriad of problems....

Not adhering to room capacity. Everyoone knows how bunnys tend to squeeze many family members into one room. :grouphug:

Overtime for housekeeping, Bunny fur all over the rooms.

Large unruly families make for over crowding at the pools.

Unwanted hopping the line at the bus stop in the mornings.

Don't even get me started about the unauthorized pool hopping.

All or that extracurricular "bunnymaking", questionable for a family friendly vacation destination, think of all that noise.

Oh, and I hear they reuse thier resort mugs year after year at any resort that they fancy at the time!

:p

Here I just thought he was one of the friendly neighborhood bunnies that roam around OKW all the time! ;)

Good points all around! :lmao:

Sorry, I was just getting such a chuckle out of all of us....so obsessed that we're looking for hidden meanings in a print sent out to us. Just had to throw in a comment to keep things stirred up. :stir:

And I think if you look closely behind SSR you can just make out the edge of a monorail....could it be???? :teeth:
