but also possibly one of the best April Fool's jokes ever got played on me this year.

So yesterday, DBF was going to ask his boss for the time off to go to the world. Before, we would always leave on a Friday, stay a week, then come back Sunday. This time, though, we were thinking about leaving on Friday, staying a week, then coming back that Tuesday instead, a total of 12 days. Neither of us thought his boss would have a problem with the couple of extra days

So yesterday, I had spent a good part of the day starting to plan. Going through dining possiblities, different days for the parks, etc. I had like 5 different plans already. So DBF texts me and tells me his boss won't let him take that much time off. I was SO upset. I coudln't understand what difference 2 days would really make. Then he says that he coudln't take that Friday either, only 5 days. I got so upset because we are going with his parents and there's no WAY we'd see everything we wanted to see in just 5 days! In a temper tantrum (I was having a bad day, so reacted a little badly lol) I tore up the plans and threw them in the trash.

Then he comes back and says "APRIL FOOLS!!! he gave me all the time off"

Needless to say I was picking peices of paper out of the trash and luckily was able to read them and rewrite them.

:lmao:

you don't joke about Disney trips - that's just wrong! :teeth:
Do the new plans include the suck-up dinner he now owes you for stressing you out that much? My husband would owe BIG if he were to screw with my Disney plans. :teacher: Best to train them right early.

HAHA! No they don't, but they definitely should, huh!!!! I'll tell him he owes me a night at the Poly now lol:rotfl:

Definitely a mean joke, but one that really got me!
