Thanks so much, magicmama! That's a nice compliment. Except that I'm afraid judging by how the beginning is going, there's going to be nothing DIGEST about this TR! 5 chapters and the plane hasn't even left Manchester ... sheesh! Imagine how long it would've been if I'd written it sooner and could remember more details!

I appreciate everyone who's sticking with this saga -- I have to work today, but will be working on the next chapter this evening!

Thank you so much! We'll be at BWV 9/30 - 10/3. Just a quick trip, but that's about all we'll be able to get somebody to watch the kids for. I lovelovelove Disney with the kids, but I think we'll also enjoy ourselves with a more adult focus.

When are you going?

We're going 10/1-10/5 . My Mom is watching our girls. First time away from the kids for so long. My kids don't even know yet. They're going to be mad that we're going w/o them. We're just planning on doing Epcot and MGM. I don't think I can bring myself to go to the MK without them.

LOL because my Piper said not long ago ...
"Mummy, remember that time when you and Daddy went to Disney all by yourselves?" (we did fess up after the fact, and told them how it was a planning mission for the supersecretsurprise trip)

"Yeeees?" (waiting for a spank and an admonition to never do THAT again)

"And remember how we went and stayed at Auntie Karen's?"

"Yeeees?"

"Well, can we do that again sometime?"

Love that girl! So I feel ok about going without the kids. Plus Conor has informed me "Mummy I've discovered something. This (indicating Future World Epcot on his map) is the FUN part of Epcot. This (indicating the World Showcase) is the BORING part." So when I told him that daddy and I are going to spend a LOT of time at the boring part of Epcot, he gave his blessing too.

SydneyRalla is the wild card ... she's growing and changing so much, who knows HOW she'll take it?

javamom over on the Maelstrom thread, she made some t-shirt images. I'm planning on making a t-shirt for me and DH. It says Maelstrom on the front and Its a FASTPASS?! on the back. Stop me if you see me You can PM her with your email and she'll send you it.

My kids are 18,14,9 and 5. They are going to pitch a fit, no doubt! But hey, we've been married almost 20 years and we're going to the F&W F, which is difficult to do well, if you have kids in tow.

We're planning on doing 10 days in Xmas of 2007, so they'll have to be happy with that.

Very clever getting around the word filter!

I actually want to say something about that -- while I was taking a little poke at the automated filter program (the very same one that removed most of a famous meteorologist's name -- sheesh!) I also unintentionally offended the moderators. It is sooo not my intent to do that, I really appreciate all that they do. So I've made an edit to that section of the story, and I hope that the board moderators will accept my apology. You guys have a hard job ... I know I wouldn't want it ... and it's not my intent to make it more difficult for you.

dear mother dearest....and her alter ego ...meanest mommie of the world,
sure are writing one sweet story. and the "ways" you are doing problem
solving..is brillant..simply "brilliant". phooey on mr.nasty! someone needed
to remind him that once he was in his mother arms! [now being cute was
another thing--bet he was one of those stinker with cholera all the time.]
disney world belongs to the children..including all the planes going to orlando!
being 5, has required us to have rearrange our seating arrangments....
on occassion..once we was scattered all over the plane. you are demonstrating discipline which in any terms, the hallmark of a mother who
cares and loves her children..i wouldn't want to mess with you! i can not
express how much you are making me appricate my own...phooey on
the length..i want to hear your details! they are so .."disney-nified"!
ok..love you & meaning it...that's self evident! your children will "grow'
in their apprication. and seeing so many others adding their insights...
these are the best disney trip reports! i hope all of them writes their too!

de'ja` vue...he,he , it brought back the trip when they pulled my wife over
for an inspection....my daughter was only 5..and it scared her. however,
when she asked..why? i told her [jokingly].."bad mommy"..she looked up -tears & all..making a serious "face" and said.."oh" ,as if "that" was the reason.
she stopped crying. i didn't correct her misunderstanding...he,he-yep,
bad daddy..speaking of,your pics are great too ! i remember when....
