OMG you guys have so many pins! Wow. I worked at Hard Rock Cafe back in the mid 90's and I had hundreds of those pins. I always wondered why Disney didn't do it and now they do! We have a few...they're framed on the staircase in a shadow box type pin frame. The second one is about full. The kids wont wear the lanyards though. They gripe and complain about them being too heavy.
So how much are the pearls? Just to open one...not to set it and all. I've never done that. I'm not a big pearl fan but DD would love doing this I think. She is crazy over jewelry. (She did not inherit that from me...all I wear is my wedding ring.)
Have fun in NYC and at the wedding. Sunday is a long time to wait for an update but if we have to...
Yes it is really sad lol. Oh that must have been fun! I want to frame some of our pins. Aww yeah those things get heavy.
I think they are $15.95.. I think. She would love it!! They make a big deal about it in Japan, so she would love it.

I teach high schoolers - which can be challenging at times, but is rewarding too! Enjoy your time at school - it'll be over before you know it! I'm actually starting my Masters this fall...who knew I'd be back in school so soon!
I have dark blonde/brown hair (it was a brown, but I just had highlights put in). I love when it's straight - but it takes me awhile to do that. And...in the summer straightening it is a disaster. If there's even a little bit of humidity, it turns into a fuzzball!

Thanks! I edited my speech last night. It's perect. Like 250 words, not bad. It sounds like a lot, but it's not really. I'm not nervous about it anymore because I fixed it. The first one I was uncomfortable with, this one much better lol. Tim's is awesome!
Oh we re just going up to walk around, hit a museum and the WOD store of course lol.

I love pick a pearl. We did it for the first time last trip. I got a golden color one, but the lady next me got a pink one! I wanted it.
That is a lot of pins! We haven't gotten into the pin trading yet. We figure we'll get our fill when DD and DS are older.

Ahh I have to get a pink one!! I have a gold one, silver, blue, like a greenish one, ivory, and some with a pink tone but I want a full blown pink one.

Oh my gosh! I am on vacation this week at Disney's Hilton Head Island resort and this is the first time in a week that I have checked the trip report board. I am on page 90......I am never going to get caught up....

They were from since the beginning of our trip. That was about 5 days worth.
Chicky and Petes was so much fun, and so good. Crab Fries are the best lol.

LMAO I know, I'm a ditz lol! Yeah you always leave with a pearl, sometimes you get twins!! That happened on our honeymoon so I had them make earrings for me. Yeah I want to do something with them.

Just catching up on the TR but since you asked...
Deluxe is alot of fun but it is alot of food with the appetizers thrown in as well.
Our plan for the last trip was to shoot for an early sit down breakfast and then a smaller lunch followed by a sit-down dinner.
If we did a sit-down lunch, we opted for a quicker breakfast like a buffet.
Basically, we would run and run and run and use the meals as our relaxing downtime spending time enjoying each place.
And with the kids, we had to make sure they had to stuff to do.

As for the snacks, we used them up during Food & Wine and the rest were for take-home snacks (like fudge to take home to friends).
We tried the regular Dining Plan last time and it was ok but we missed our appetizers so we're switching back to Deluxe next time around...

We use the regular backings. Sometimes Tim will have one or two fall off. Mine always stay on. In the past though I have had one come off. So there really isn't a secret.
