DH, Simon. Comes along for the ride, but secretly loves every second.

DD, Evie, aged 3. Lover of IASW, Mickey&Minnie and all the princesses.

So that’s us: The Masons.

Background.After our very expensive trip to WDW last summer we needed a cheaper year this year; so having booked our trip to Dorset in the caravan in August, and a trip with my parents to Tenerife in April that was meant to be it for us.
However, my love of Disney (OBSESSION) meant I needed a trip! We generally visit DLP at Halloween, so the thought of a trip in the sunshine was very appealing, then the 40% offer came along…. The rest is history.
So in March we booked 3 nights at Santa Fe 22-25 july, with a good price on the Eurostar too. I didn’t add on HB vouchers as I seriously couldn’t get my head round them and this is meant to be a budget trip!

June 09.Not a lot has happened for the trip up till now, except me and Evie getting very excited about it. DH and I discussed the HB vouchers and decided that we would mainly stick to counter service meals to keep costs down.

July 09.
Full excitement set in! After discussing food again ( a bit of an obsession for us!) Simon decides he can’t live without a trip to Inventions, who am I to argue? And as we are going to Café Mickey’s on the first night with dis friends (Sarah and Tony) it’s decided that we will get the HB premium vouchers and include a trip to Auberge do Cendrillon for our little princess. So on Friday I phoned and added the vouchers to our booking and made our dining reservations. Hurray, truly excited now. So I’ll start packing over the next two weeks, a bit of shopping for snacks to take with us and euros, and we’re ready to go! No real planning is being done apart from the meals, we'll just go with the flow. Evie says we have to go on IASW 25 times , as well as see Handy Manny at Playhouse Disney Live!
I am realy looking forward to the fireworks and nightime entertainment as this will be new for us at DLP! Can't wait!

What a strange coincidence - both of us starting our pre-trippies on the same day - definitely great minds and all that! Can't wait to meet up with you at Cafe Mickey (even though our holiday will be nearly over by that evening). And I am ready to place a bet on who will have the cutest holiday snaps ........
