The Mary and Glenn saga continues after all - plus Aprille(photos starting @ post#22)

Hmmm, I happen to know a GREAT date next year to think about....lol

I love reading your report and all the fun you had. I'm so glad you had Aprille there to share it with you--what a special trip!

I think you guys picked a great time to cruise. Wish we could join you but not likely. For starters, we would have to win the lottery to afford Glenn's criteria for another cruise. But we will watch you sail away and maybe even watch your return. I have done that a few times when I'm on the computer that early.

Mary- I glance through the DCL trip reports often. Most of the time, I scan the first couple of posts, and decide if I want to invest the time to read the report. I have to confess that when I first looked at yours, I didn't stay for long. But, then I saw the photos that Aprille posted, and I was intrigued.

So, I just read your whole report. What a great writer you are! And witty, too! And you are 80 years old? I can't believe it! My mother is younger than you, and I am pretty sure that she doesn't even know how to turn a computer on. God bless you!

I am glad that you had a great cruise, and I truly hope that you will get to cruise with your wonderful family again.

Aprille- the word from Mary is that there were 500+ photos- let's see 'em!

Thank you for having the stamina to read my whole report. But I must confess, I won't be 80 for nine more days. I just rounded it off. Thanks again for the kind words and actually Aprille wound up with over 700 pictures.

I just happened to be browsing for reviews of Disney Cruises since I just got off my third yesterday morning. Yahoo led me to here and I got so wrapped up in your descriptions. It's amazing to hear that you were able to enjoy your cruise despite worries and limitations. It is truly inspiring. But what really pushed me to reply is when I was reading about your serving staff. When the names Wira, Ivan, and Tirso came up I found myself thinking, "Could it be?!" The picture later posted confirmed it. Although I did not see Wira, I believe I did see Ivan walking around as a Head Server and Tirso was our Server along with our wonderful Assistant Server Stephanie. Although your cruise was back in September, I thought you may enjoy knowing where some of those people who made your cruise enjoyable are now.

Thank you so much for your post. We talk about our serving staff often and wonder where they are now. We are so pleased that Ivan is now a head server but not surprised. Also not surprised that Tirso is now a server. He was definitely practicing for that position when he was our assistant server. As for Wira, he must surely be on one of the other rotations. He was great.
Thanks again for the information.

Thank you so much for sharing!! We're taking my parents on a Med cruise (first cruise for my family and 2nd cruise for parents) in May...I've been worried they might not like it b/c it's so Disney...but hearing your reports, gives me hope!! Thanks!!
