I was going to name this trip A Very Merry UnBirthday Trip, since we are going for DH's 40th birthday, but I found cuter clip art for Pooh Bear and Pooh& Co. are the only characters my family thinks are MUST SEE. The nod to concierge is because we haven't ever stayed anywhere concierge level before, thus a new "adventure."

So let the Adventures Begin:

How it all began-

February 2006 I insist to DH that it is time that we take our three dear children on a long promised trip to Disneyland, so we plan for early June 2006- Me, DH, 3 dear children, my mother and my aunt. Fun trip, I'm totally bitten by the Disney planning bug.

Once home I am convinced that I must visit Disneyland again soon, my aunt is also equally convinced thus we secretly book a Halloween trip on 4th of July weekend. This trip will be Me, DH, 3 still dear children, and my aunt. Plus it's got to stay a secret. Labor Day weekend rolls around, find out Dear Brother is getting a divorce (whoo hooo, about time!) so Auntie and I add Dear Brother and Dear Niece to our travel plans. All is fabulous end of October beginning of November is the perfect time to visit California and Disneyland and California Adventures. We stayed at the Grand Californian and did Mickey's Halloween Party. So much fun, but so sad to come home and even sadder :sad1: to have nothing to plan!

The plot now thickens as I start working on my aunt that we need to plan a DisneyWorld trip. I of course have when we should go all figured out- March 2008 for DH's 40th birthday. Now you need to know that we are in the process of building a new house at this time, and by we I mean the cast of characters- to be more fully introduced later- who went on the Halloween Disneyland trip. So it's not like we have nothing going on.

Aunt is convinced we need to go, but what will the rest of the family say(oh if only we could do stuff without worrying about what other people think!) My dear brother, and dear husband both insist that I am crazy, yet both do really want to go on this trip.

I of course never waver in my insistance and just keep up with the presumption that we are going. :smooth: I order the planning DVD, and casually mention our "trip" as much as possible. I choose the hotel I think is perfect for us and begin talking about how great it will be and all the fun stuff to do there. My plan works and I get the go ahead to book the trip.:earsboy:

Now of course it is only early 2007, packages are not available yet, but I go for it with room only reservations. My evil brain decides that we NEED concierge level for the shear fact of being able to have breakfast early before we leave for the day. My partner in crime/aka my aunt agrees. Some days I am a genius! So I book room only Boardwalk Inn concierge level for March 11th-March 18th.

But wait, it's going to be super busy Spring Break/Easter is early this year season and we need more TIME! So I add on the 9th and 10th. :rotfl: Still not quite enough time and I've found airline tickets, I add on the 8th, and I purchase our airline tickets, since we must have NON Stop flights and I need something to do!

So trip re-cap:

Travel Dates- Friday March 7th- Flight leaves 11:10pm
Saturday March 8th arrived at MCO 7:30am
