The Many Adventures of Bella Sue and Her Family Too!

Took my car in, picked it back up, and played cards with my grammy...so now time to keep the promise...

Day 2, Take 1: Bella's day of many 1sts...

Ahhh yes....now I remember...

We told my Dad where to meet us in the parking lot of Pop to take us back to GF to meet the rest of the family for our day at MK! I remember we need to go to the front desk first to add more days to our 1 day base tickets and see if my old non expiring one has any days left on it (I'm guessing 1 day and hoping for 2). After waiting in a LONG line...it's finally my turn and I find out there are 4 days left. I am soooo amazed by this information I actually ask her to double check...yep sure enough she was right, yippeee. I add one more day to DH's ticket and I go look for DH and DD who are waiting for me somewhere in the lobby. DH is surprised at how long it took me and tells me we are 20 minutes late meeting my Dad. Luckily my Dad hung around and was there to meet us. We arrive at the GF and we all take the monorail to MK. First we snap some pics then head straight to the barber shop. We wait about 35 min in line to get DD haircut. Well worth the wait. She had missed her morning nap and started crying during the cutting. The man was so good with her and gave her lots of stickers to help keep her mind off what he was doing. He wrapped up the hair he cut with some confetti, she got ears, and a certificate! SO fun for DH and I.

Next we take some more pics of course, and DM asks if we would like to go ride something while she watches Bella for us. OK!!! So DH, DS2, and I head for Splash Mountain while the rest of the gang shops. We were able to ride SM twice before it was time to meet up again for lunch at Tony's. We head over to Tony's and DM is rocking Bella outside the entrance. I go in with DF to check in and we get seated quickly. DD wakes up and enjoys a lil of everyone's meal. I did a bad job of food photos, always remembering to take them halfway through eating. I had a yummy spinach and chicken calzone with tiramisu (?) for dessert, another winner!!!!

Bella is very cute! We too had our dd's first cut at the MK. What a great memory for you!

Bella woke up early this morning, so now that she's had breakfast and a bath she is back in bed. I am trying to be quiet so I am in my room on my macbook (PC has our pics) so i will continue our trip report and post pics later...

Day 2, Take 2: DM lost in the Magic Kingdom

After lunch we had planned to go back to the GF and rest with Bella, but I felt we hadn't done very much and wanted to do at least one ride with DD before we left the park. DH was not very happy, he wanted to stick with the plan, but we headed for fantasyland anyway. We start walking and DF and DS2 sit down and play checkers outside the hat store I believe. DM calls for them to follow us and I see them stand up. So off we go again. There is a show going on at the castle so we follow DS1 towards the noodle station. As we start up the hill we notice we're the only ones. Where did DM and the rest go? DH insists he told us to stop and wait for them, but we had kept walking. I argue that he hadn't said anything (bc of course he hadn't ) and we decide to continue on to fantasyland. Once there we see DF and DS2. Now only DM is missing. We had her purse on our stroller so she was walking around by herself with nothing. AGAIN i'm not a person who cries, but what do I do start crying. All I wanted was to ride one thing with bella, now DH is mad bc we should have just went back to the GF, and DM is missing. I knew she wanted to be with us for bella's first ride. So we make a plan. DH, DS1 and 2 and bella stay by the teacups. My DF goes one way to look for DM and I go the other. Soon after I hear DM call my name and there she is. Now I am waiting for her to be very upset, but surprisingly she is just happy to see me. I call DF and we all meet up again. Apparently back when DF and DS2 were playing checkers they started to follow, but then DS2 ducked into a shop and DF followed. DM went in to see what they were doing and told them she was going to catch up with us since she knew the general area we were heading (which afterward she remembered what a large area fantasyland is)!

All back together again I choose It's a Small World for DD's first ride! We didn't have to wait long and were soon boarding the boat. DD was very entranced by all the singing dollies. I think she liked it! Yeah for bella's first ride!! Now we head back for the Grand...or so I think, my mind is hitting a blank right now more to come...

It was funny the difference in waiting at the barber shop is when you take a few measly pictures. I've had my hair cut there twice to give to locks of love and was jealous who Bella got--Ugh, I can't think of his name at the moment--but everyone on the boards love him and he's always there when I am. But I usually get a girl--who cuts my long hair into a bob and is always so sweet about it!
They go to ride rides and I'm excited to get to go in the shops of Main Street at the beginning of the day as opposed to the mad rush that starts later. Dad and Mom look at some things while Bella walks and I hold both her hands looking around at the adult clothing. Then I hold her for awhile and finally hand her off to Grandma. Oh, and I had to pull her away from the jewelry spiny stands--she sure loved it (just like her mom at that age--what a dress up and jewelry queen, pretty sure the next time Bella comes down she will be getting a Princess outfit--or 2.) While I continued shopping at the Emporium, Mom Dad and Bella headed out of the shops (w/o me knowing and with my purse/money.) So there I am wandering around with two bracelets and no money. The parade has started outside and Dad comes back into the store to let me know they are watching and I ask for my purse. I got the multi-colored mickey head bracelet (and used it as my toy on the go for Bella, and a "Knot a Dream" bracelet--I got two last trip and this time was purple "If you can dream it, you can do it" Then went out to the little rest area by the bathrooms, town hall, and fire station. Then we mozied (sp?) on over in front of Tonys and snagged some rocking chairs--ahhhh and watched people get their pics/autographs from Pinocchio--what a fun boy! I debated over whether running in the picture store and getting a autograph album for Bella and jumping in line for picture as well, but didn't want to take that experience away from her parents. Turned out Kammie would have loved it if I had, oh well I'll do that next trip with her
Dinner was delicious! I'll have to get my pics on the computer and then put some here too. And when we got separated in Fantasyland it was kinda funny that Kammie was being the emotional one and I was like, too bad (cause it's usually the other way around--must've been the heat and humidity and the stupid mosquito bites I got at the beginning of the trip that are still red marks on my arm and foot ) It's a small world was fun--and reminded me of Katie and my trip two months ago when we had the boat to ourselves and no one in front or behind us for the whole ride--I videotaped the whole thing!
Yes then we did head back to the GF--you know so boys can swim, babies of the family's could sleep and the two older sisters could hit the monorail shopping circuit!

Day 2, Take 3: Resting up then back to the MK

Back at the GF, DF takes this time to do laundry, DM wants to take a nap with DD, and DS2 decides to also sleep. DS1 and I decide to go "resort hop 'n shop" on the monorail...DH is not interested so he swims at the pool instead. DS1 and I head to contemporary first. We check out the shops there and DS1 get a couple things...I think?? Then off to Poly where we also look around, use the restroom, and then decide to have a bite to eat. DS1 was behind in using 2 of here counter service meals from the DDP. She decides to use one and we split the meal! YUM...Hawaiian Flat bread and Dole Whip...Yippee!! I also finally got some sweet iced tea I had been thirsty for. After a nice break and chatting we head back to GF. I spy DH in the pool and all get ready for more MK.

Yikes..no notes, and its now been 3 weeks...I'm going from memory the best I can...

As we head back into MK I decide to buy DD a purple mickey head balloon I have always wanted to get my own child, or was it something I always wanted as a child??

Then we take a few more pics you just have to take when you're at MK!!

**OK...looking back at the order my pics are in I think my memory was a bit wrong before...after we found DM in Fantasyland we decided to just go straight back to GF, we had not gone on, It's a Small World, yet!**

After taking pics back at the MK we head over to ride It's a Small World. After riding everyone was hungry (especially those who hadn't had a snack ) so we decide to eat at Cosmic Ray's. DS1 was back at the resort not feeling well, but calls us and decides to come meet up. I have the turkey/bacon wrap with chips and save my carrot cake for later. DD was very upset during this dining time so we decide to try to have her sleep. DH wants to see spectro magic parade and we go to find a good spot. DF come with and the rest go to ride more rides! We found a good view of the castle and an ok view for the parade. We wanted to stay in the same spot for the fireworks. DD fell asleep and we took turns holding her until she finally would sleep in her stroller. After the parade (which wasn't working properly...sound and music was not matching up and lights not working properly) I went back to cosmic ray's for spoons to enjoy our desserts and DH took shots of the castle. Cue tinkerbell and wishes was underway. DD was awake by this time and was startled just a bit by the fireworks but not much.

Yikes...
I haven't even finished the 2nd day of my WDW trip report and have already planned another...5 days at Disneyland/California adventure and DTD...end of this July!!!

Back to this report last part of day 2 and onto day 3...Ahhh yes...Hollywood Studios, swimming at the Grand Floridian, Dinner at the Grand Cafe, and fireworks on the beach!
