~ The Man Report ~~~~~~~~~ Bonus Material Included ~~~~~~

Our attorney told us a neat thing the last time we visited with him-he said women love shopping because it goes back to our primal instincts of picking berries and things off trees-being gatherers. Shopping satisfies that instinct. Men hate it because they’re all about getting a spear, hunting down the animal, killing it and bringing it back. No fuss-they set a goal and do it. It’s true for Buzz and me. I love shopping and he has this annoying habit of going after something and getting it no matter if it’s the most expensive thing around (example: my wheels and tires he got me for MOTHER’S DAY)

I laughed when I read an attorney gave you this tidbit, I thought I read it wrong and thought maybe you meant a Therapist-being married to buzz and all. And the mother's day gift-they actual think they want to keep you safe on the road and if the car needs new tires. I have been given this present numerous times.

Hey!

I also got her some nice 20" wheels!!

Seriously, I gave her a Beautiful Perfume package with lotions and stuff. I'm not all safety & bling. :thumbsup2

PittyPat, Great Toe Story! Did you put a little smiley face on it though?? :confused3

Blue; yes! You have NO room to talk! When did you start your trippie?? Oh ya, back in the 80's!!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

First of all, yes, we had only ONE bag with us for all four people. It weighed just under 50 pounds so we didn't have to pay a penalty.

i am very concerned that you onlytook one bag, we are a family of five and i dont know how we are going to fit everything for one week in our minivan!!

Use the laundry faciliti!s at the resort. Face it the kids (like Buzz) want to wear the same thing everyday anyway! WE're a family of 5 to and DH and I argue over who gets to do the laundry because we both consider it a break from the kids!;)

I just spent hours reading your trip report, and I have to say that it has been the funniest I have every read. Your family cracks me up. :lmao: I will go and read your other trip report and I bet it's just as funny. Great work! :thumbsup2

And get your bet in on Gordon, right? That's who you like? .

Tell me you forgot to do this when you were in Vegas, The nice "oddsmaker" gave you the winner and all your financial support for your next trip:thumbsup2

Thanks! Believe it or not, I DID put $100 on Gordon and got $350 back. We left early Saturday morning and the race ended up on Sunday so my friend picked it up for me although I haven't seen it yet (he lives about 4 hours away). I placed the bet at Paris on Thursday night... Uhm, wait. No, that was EARLY Friday morning. :confused3

I also gained a lot of ground in my Fantasy Nascar League.

Ok, here is the next trippie...

~The Man Report ~~~~~~2007~~~~~~My Big List of Grievances~~~~

Why does one need to post their list of grievances? Why not?!? :confused3

Here we go:

1). Uhm… Hello! Move outta da way!! Don’t just stop in the middle of the pathway. Many folks behind you lack the GAT-skilz that I possess and will trample your Canadian a$$. :rotfl2:

2). Disney’s so-called HEALTHY meals for kids are a joke. Even a half-starved badger wouldn’t touch this food and we’re forced to purchase expensive adult meals for our kids to eat. :sad2:

3). The Adventurer’s Club needs new material. How many more times can I watch the dude with the plastic cow under his arm whine about being Adventurer of the Year? Probably a few more times but them I’m through!!! ;)

4). Kilimanjaro Safaris needs updating. Wait, strike that. Updating won’t work. Just nuke the whole dang attraction!! Lions are never out, the rubber elephant at the end is the worst bit of Disney Animatronics I’ve ever seen, and it’s 200 degrees in the shade.

5). The California Grill needs to get off it’s “high horse” and let people wander up to enjoy the view and have a drink. One shouldn’t have to make reservations to enjoy a simple cocktail.

6). The boat ride at Epcot’s “Mexico” is an insult to Mexicans. Am I a Mexican? Nope. But if I was, I’d be really angry. What’s with the depiction of the people sitting in the “pool bar” drinking and the dancing skeletons? Is that what Mexico is all about? I don’t think so. Plus, they don’t mention a word about the revolt that’s taking place in the southern part of the country. Come on Disney, let’s make this attraction a little more “real”.

7). Maelstrom. ‘Nuff said. :headache:

8). That red headed kid that stole my Lego “Guy”. I’m still trying to track him down via the internet. :surfweb:

9). Disney buffet restaurants. Yes, it’s true. They’re basically all the same. Ok, ok. Maybe not exactly, but enough to warrant only dining at ONE buffet per vacation.

10). Beer at MK. Enough already Disney. We understand the whole “Walt Thing” but really, gimmie something to look forward to on this day. Sniffing the freshly painted park bench just ain’t cuttin’ it anymore. I need a nice cold beer to go with those tacos!! :thumbsup2

Last Up: My Wrap

does this mean your report is over?:sad1:

I love Maelstrom!

They've redone the Mexico ride since your trip, it was being redone while I was there. Has anyone seen the new version? Have they addressed these grievances?

YEA!  Good for you Buzz!!! I made Gordon 7/2. Too bad I didn't get to meet you. Maybe next time.

Glad to see you are back to the stuff that really matters.... The report. :)

Wonder if the Director will let me hang a lime green mickey on the office door? Hmmm.

Okay, Buzz. We've heard the grievances....yadda yadda. Now let's milk this trippie some more and post the list of your highlights! :thumbsup2

Kathy

Oh, and BTW, get your butt back over to my TR or else!!

8). That red headed kid that stole my Lego “Guy”. I’m still trying to track him down via the internet.

Be merciful, within 3 generations of my son, there won't be anymore little red-headed kids.

Do I need to get the dunce hat out or will you please clean up th slight infranction that is related to a "mule".

Pixie - Didn't know they fixed Mexico. I'll have to check it out in October. Also, I've got to post my "Wrap Up" so the report isn't done yet... but almost! :thumbsup2

Gemini - I'll be back in Vegas the last weekend in September. I also bet Gordon at 7/2. Truthfully, I almost took Jimmy Johnson at 4/1. Glad I reconsidered.

Kathy - I'll post some highlights... trust me.

Ohmari - I figured the only way to get you to post was to do a little Pseudo-cursin’. :rotfl2:
