OK, you crazy make-up people, I now own a tube of the Monistat Chafing Powder Gel because of you:lmao:!!! I will try it out today.

I read some of the reviews on Make-Up Alleys site, and the only thing I am concerned about is developing cystic acne. If you sort their reviews by lowest first, that was the #1 complaint. I do occasionally get those nasty little boogers!!! Despite that, it was rated 4.0 out of 5.0 as a primer.

BTW, this is a great thread:thumbsup2!!!

ETA: Tried it out. My face feels VERY smooth. My BE glided on. So far, so good. I have never used a primer before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But so far, I am very satisfied!!!!

Ok gals, what's the best website to read reviews of make up?? Or to just talk about make up deals etc...?

Thank you!

I have a another question that all of you nail divas can hopefully help me with. My sister wants to have a make up party for her birthday and she said she'd like Nail Art pens or paint as a gift to bring to the party.

Any suggestions on what to get her or where??
Sally Hansen has some new nail art pens out. I have been trying to find them but they are always sold out, the only color I've been able to find is the red. I have always used those paint pens for crafts. They work really well and are much cheaper. The Sally Hansen pens are around $8 and the paint pens are about $3 and even cheaper when you have a Michael's coupon and you have more colors to choose from.

Can someone pm me the code for Sephora 15% off. I went yesterday and even though one of the clerks said I could have my coupon back the other insisted that she keep it. I want to order on line a couple of things I did not get yesterday.

Has anyone else fallen in love with the Andrew Lessman Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins that are sold at HSN? I'm so not a home shopper, but something about these called out to me, and I ordered a bottle. My nails are longer and harder and have never looked better! My hair is shinier! SUCH a huge difference!

Good question. I'm not sure. I think I've heard that you can buy them directly from his company.
I really am astounded by these vitamins, as someone who's never really felt any difference when I've taken vitamins previously.

I will google it. My dermatologist said to just take a vitiman with Biotin in it but I will check these out. Good hair and skin come from the inside .

Hello ladies! I'm back from Sephora. I got the metal lash comb and an eye brush. I decided against the smokey eye "V" kit because the brush with the kit didn't have really good reviews. Plus I was on the fence about the colors.

I got a NARS 16 Wide Contour brush for eyeshadow. I returned my Fiberwig mascara for it. Fiberwig was nice in that it did not smudge under my eyes one little bit. Also, it lengthened better than Lash Injection. BUT, they looked really sparse and a sort of like spider legs. Lash Injection doesn't lengthen at all but my lashes looked fuller. All said and done, Lash Injection blows Fiberwig away.

After Sephora I walked over to the MAC counter at Nordstrom and got a new lipglass. It's a plumper, MAC plushglass in "Posh It Up". The lady said that it's supposed to tingle a little bit then go away. I figured it's probably like Buxom Lips so I bought a tube. I just put it on, and oooh I love it! I really like MAC's lipgloss. And it's a better price than Buxom. It's just so darn far away!

That's when I realized the saddest thing. Here I am finally getting a Sephora fairly close to me and all I can think of is Bobbi Brown brushes and MAC. Even the NARS blushes that I love so much won't be at this Sephora because the JCP ones are smaller and don't carry NARS. So I guess I'll still be making the long trips or ordering online (sigh). :guilty:

Hey guys!!

Tonight I went to TJMaxx and Marshalls to look for some make up, after the great suggestion on here. I found this: Too Faced World Domination Tour All Access Backstage Beauty Collection
http://www.beautyarchives.pursebuzz.com/?p=1662 for only $12.99!! You can't beat that. The colors look great and its in a really cute jewelry box. I found the set with the lash injection for only $9.99 but somebody had opened it and trashed the make up inside..:sad2: I'll be looking at another location tomorrow.;) I ended up picking up my Mom and Aunt a set too!

Fun!!!

:lovestruc

I hate when people trash the makeup!!! :headache: A big gouge in a lipstick pallette - a shattered eyeshadow pallette. I've seen that before. I take a moment of silence to mourn. ;)

Ive wondered about Plush Glass. I like your review! Awesome. Dont buy anymore. I have your lipglosses, HelloKitty's perfume and another girlfriend's wallet to send out. Im really BAD about it. I promise of all promises - Ill do that this week. Sorry. :sad2:

INteresting. How long have you been using them?

I know when I was pregnant with son #1 - I had heartburn 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. I should have bought stock in Tums, at that time.

Anyways - my nails and hair were amazing, and I thought it was the pregnancy vitamins.

Then I got pregnant with #2 - and can I tell you guys, I wasnt like this :yay: when I found out. I was pure panic. NOT because I didnt want another one, not because anything would be bad or that we couldnt support another child... I wanted a baby. But I was sicker than a lepar with food poisoning and cancer and botulism and hang nails - all rolled into one, when I was pregnant. I was SO worried....BUT - I kept in my head "at least my nails and hair will look good"

Well, it didnt! I was still sick, tired, nauseous - everything! BUT NO HEARTBURN, so NO TUMS.

Now I'm convinced it was the tums giving me nice nails and hair. :lmao:

Hey guys,

Did you see the exclusive spot on Beautycrunch with the new offerings for "loyal customers"? There was a pop beauty shadow lip thing with 35 shadows and a bunch of other stuff in a jewlery box....for 20 and yes guess who bought it? I could not control myself. I heard that Pop was an English company and the products were not bad. Did I really need it? NO!
