Totally agree with you. That is an awful place.
I guess given the name Monistat, one would assume it would be near the feminine products, right?

I was about to head to the "Goldbond Powder" section - wherever that was, had I not finally spotted it.

Good evening, Makeup Queens!!

I am so happy that y'all are trying out the Monistat and liking it!! I am checking in and reporting on day 3 of my Monistat trial.

Got up and put on my "face" at around 10am. Put on the Monistat and it was wonderful feeling, as usual. Put on my makeup- went on like a dream. I find that I am getting better and more even coverage with LESS mineral MU foundation than I used to use.
It is after 10pm now, and my face still looks and feels great. The one drawback I've noticed- the Monistat does nothing at all to curb the "oilies". I am having some definite oily breakthrough on my nose by the late afternoon. A light dusting of my Everyday Minerals Start-To-Finish Rice Powder takes care of the oil, though.

I continue to be very thorough in cleansing in the evenings- I am prone to breakouts, and don't want to experience that with the Monistat. So far, no problems. I did have one little zit this evening, but I am just finishing up my "time of the month", so I attribute it to that, not my makeup.

I'll keep checking in- would love to hear from y'all, too! Report on how you like the Monistat gel- it will be great to compare everyone's experiences.

I am on hour 2 of Monistat Face. I cant beleive how smoooooth your makeup goes on. It just slides right on! And yes, you use so much less.

Very nice. I'm excited to see how it works through out the day!

I have a feeling this will be the same reaction I am going to get, lol!

ok I'll bite...off to walmart now to look for some water shoes for the kids for our trip...I'll be the 40+ year old woman searching for this stuff! hahah

A sad side note....dh's grandma passed away last night. he wasn't going to WDW with us on Friday anyway, but now he'll be in NW instead & I have to quickly find a dog sitter for my 2 gianormous dogs...oldest dd is fine, she's the "I'm only emotional when it's about me teen"...but youngest is retty upset, we were all close to GG, in face Grace is named after her. So I"m a little bit sad today. Still excited for our trip, just sad.

If I was closer, I would totally come by and do the 'let the dogs out' thing for you - but it's too far for me to go everyday, twice a day. How long will you need it for?

So I decided to check the ingredients in my liquid foundation. I use Ulta's brand: Smooth Foundation. I really like it and it's not that expensive! As a matter of fact it's on sale right now BOGO free, and I can use my $3.50 coupon on it making it $9 for two bottles. But anyway...I checked the ingredients and it has dimethicone in it. Maybe that's why I'm not seeing a huge difference in my makeup. Maybe it's just overkill.

Oh and I never made it to Nordstrom (or Sephora) but I did make to my super close, super lame Macy's right by my house this weekend. This Macy's doesn't have half the makeup lines other Macy's have. But, I got a skunk brush from Lancome that cost $25. Way cheaper than the $42 one MAC carries. I couldn't find any reviews for it on MUA. I hope it's a good brush. I stopped at Rite Aid and picked up two more bottles of Revlon liquid liner. Yep! I am now a liquid liner pro! Thanks again for the tips.

SIX HOUR UPDATE ON MONISTAT FACE:

Alright - you guysssss.... you gotta be KIDDING ME!!!

After I finish lunch, I grab my water bottle, grab my little purse makeup case, go fill up the water bottle - then stop in the restroom to repowder my face and reapply lipgloss. This is my ritual.

I get to the bathroom - and am seriously SHOCKED! My makeup is FINE! It doesnt need to be freshened up. I need lipgloss....but I dont need to repowder!!!

This is insane!!! CRAZY I tell you!!!

I am proud to say I have Monistat on my face!

Ok Guys, I just got home from work. We had some moving to do on the sales floor. I thought I would look ghastly when I looked in the mirror but it looked great! Since I am using MAC foundation, I have not had a really bad day, but my blush would somehow disappear. It is still there! Just where I put it this morning.
Thank You guys! I did notice my pores are a bit more refined too! Now if I could find a product that would get rid of my dark circles for life I would be perfect!

What do the makeup queens think of Bobbi Brown? I saw that they are having a sale, 25% off on their website now through March 19. And if all goes well, I'm going to try to get to Nordstrom tomorrow and they have advertised on their website that tomorrow they are having a "Bobbi Brown, Master Class" What is that? What should I look for in Bobbi Brown? I wonder if Nordstrom will price match?

OK, I have been following this Monistat talk on the edge of my chair. But there is something I don't get. Cat said "Not THAT Monistat." I think I have missed something here, and I'm going to sound like an idiot (what else is new?) but WHAT Monistat is it if it isn't THAT Monistat?

Its the Monistat company, but it is Chafing Relief Powder-Gel. I found it at CVS next to THAT Monistat! Others (not naming names) have found it near some other products at Wal Mart. Anyway give it a try! Its great, and MUCH cheaper than the primers that the high end cosmetics sell.

I got three more tubes because I think when this gets out it is going to be in very short supply. Just look at how many views this thread has. We have maybe 750 posts but there are over 13,000 views! I was very hot today. My desk is by the sunny side of the school and the window is right behind me. It is sooooooooooo hot and I figured by the end of the day my make up would be sweated off. It was not. It looked great INCLUDING my eye shadow. I used the monostat on my lids because the ingredients were the same as Shadow Insurance.

I am loving it.

If we were going to do something like that we would pick a really funny substance like maybe Vagisil or manure I am laughing so hard I am snorting right now. It must be I am tired OR maybe the Monostat causes personality chages.
