Anyone know anything about Mario Badescu skin care products? I read about the Rosacea line that they have and I'm thinking about ordering it. Just never heard of them before.

ETA: Well, I guess I'm going to be finding out because when I went to the website to look at it again, they had 10% off today. I'll update after I get my order. I'm really curious if this will work with my rosacea.

I'll do almost anything to feed my makeup addiction. :rotfl:

Have you tried using your e-gift certificate yet? I was going to place my order this morning, and I noticed the new Beta website doesn't have an area for e-certificates. However, there is a box for physical gift cards. I tried entering the e-certicate there, but it doesn't work.

Sephora's old website had a box for e-certificates....so I'm a little bummed that it's this hard to place an order. :sad1:

I've contacted Sephora thru FB and I'm waiting for a response. Just wondering if you had any luck?

I haven't. I'm still editing my massive haul lol. The girls on makeupalley said they had problems with beta so they used the regular site. If you call their customer service they're VERY helpful.

I've used the control cream before, and while I don't feel it helped my rosacea, it also didn't inflame it, which many products do. I didn't use the whole line, so maybe that's why I didn't see great results.

I actually just ordered some elasto-semollient hand cream from them. My hands get so dry in the winter months, and it got great reviews on MUA. We shall see. :)

Thanks! I just got done placing my order over the phone. You do have to use Sephora's old website to use the e-certificates, but you can only use a maximum of 4. So I took my order as far as I could online, and then called to finish the order. I used 9 e-certificates from Viggle! :cool1:

Luckily the 15% coupon for VIB's is good until April 6th, and you can place multiple orders. So I'm going to Viggle hard so I can place another order by then. :cheer2:

So my order was a little over $100. Thanks to the coupon, and e-gift certificates from Viggle, I only paid $7. My husband will be thrilled, lol! :goodvibes

I'm viggling my butt off right now! Checking into a show every half hour and racking up those bonus points at night. I work evening shifts so I have to run in and out of the kitchen to the TV every 10 minutes. :rotfl:

Anyone have a good concealer recc? I purchased the Tarte Smooth operator tinted moisterizer to go lighter for the summer, but I realize I need a good concealer in certain spots when I use it...I need to cover up blemishes, not under eye circles/puffiness.

My favorite concealers are from Lauren Hutton. She has a case of several colors and a 2 ended pencil. I highly recommend these.

i also bought the nars blush yesterday, i like it! i also liked the nars illuminator she used on me, but didnt spring for it... anybody know of a much cheaper one with the same effect???

Oh! Tell me more about the Nars Illuminator! I've been looking around for a great one and can't seem to find one that suits my skin or does what I want without covering me in sparkles.

I have very oily t-zone and combination skin. Stay away from Bare Minerals.....made me look like the Tin Man! lol Bare Minerals is NOT for oily skinned people.

I have REALLY oily skin and am constantly having to blot away oil. I've been a Bare Minerals user for about 2 years and it really isn't working for me at all. I feel like I've tried everything else though and nothing works. Any foundation ideas for super oily skin?

Oily Skin:

Number one key thing to look for in a foundation, make sure it is oil free. Plus I would stick with liquid foundation. Those cream foundations in the compacts are not really made for people with oily prone skin. Been there, done that!

As of now I'm using Clinique's Even Better Makeup. It's oil free and covers redness and acne pretty well.

Always finish with a pressed powder. This will help with shine and give you a matte finish. Loose powder is NOT for oily skinned people!

Normally I don't spend a lot on makeup, but today I bought Bobby Brown's Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation thru Sephora. It's oil free and gives a matte finish. Rave reviews, so I'm pretty excited to try it out. One tip I got was if you want to splurge on makeup, do it at least for your foundation. We'll see if this holds true! ;)

It was the size of a nars blush and looked white in the case..... It wasn't sparkly like glittery per se..... She put it on around my outer eye area it was pretty, but $28. You should check it out!

I tend to shine and I use Clinique's Even Better liquid foundation, too. :) I'm really liking it.

Just purchased a few "necessities" from Sephora using the Beauty Insider 15% off code (chic). If you're not an Insider yet, you just have to sign up on their website. The promotion and code is listed on their FB page today. :yay:

Thanks Bella the Ball for reminding me that Sephora is part of the Discover Card shopping network. :goodvibes

I did some major haulage from Sephora. 4 Guerlain lipsticks, a Dior one, Nars primer, Shiseido cotton, makeup remover, eyeliners....and then someone I know at a Dior counter told me they had a cute GWP and she would hook me up with minis and samples. So...I bought another 3 lipsticks! I'm going on a serious no buy. Oh and MAC Pro members can order the new collections online so I shopped those too. Why?! When is enough, enough?!

Awesome, sounds like you got some good stuff!

My Sephora order contained Bobby Browns Natural Finish Foundation, Nars Blush (orgasm), and Bobby Brown Finishing pressed powder.

Since the 15% off goes until next Friday, I'm starting my second list now! Dior lip gloss, makeup brushes, eyeshadow.....still browsing...:surfweb: Hoping to put a lot of Sephora gift cards towards this. I'm working Viggle to the bone! :bored:
