Love Urban Decay. I have never tried their liners, but am mad in love with all their "Cowboy Stuff". The shadows, the glosses...all of it. :lovestruc

You have to try their eye liners! They are the best!!! So creamy and smooth. Goes on in one swipe and they are waterproof! They last all day and don't smear.

I usually just use them on the top lid but will sometimes on the bottom to get the smokey look. :thumbsup2

I love the cowboy stuff too :)

You can also head to the makeup counters in high end department stores. Mac will do a makeup application free. Macy's does it with a 50.00 purchase.

Clinique and Estee Lauder and all of the others do it usually free with an appointment. Be prepared to want to buy everything they use on you.....they are VERY good at what they do!

I know that gossmakeupartist on YOUTUBE used to work for Bobbi Brown and he said that he really had to leave because all they wanted him to do was sell things to people that they really did not need. I must say I do love that YOUTUBE channel. He really does give some great makeup tips.

If you have MAC or any of the other companies make you up, they will talk you into spending the earth. I mean, I do not need to be talked into it but they could probably sell me unsterilized camel manure if I thought it would work in any capacity. At least on YOUTUBE when you see products you have a lag time between the time you see the product and the time you can go to the store to buy it(unless you are like me and have Sephora.com as my home page)NOT that that helps me because then I obsess till I get it. But if I were being made up at MAC etc, I would buy the whole thing and walk out spending a couple of hundred...who am I kidding more like 500.

I just keep thinking of my MIL who liked my make up and asked me what to buy. I told her to go to Sephora and have them make her up because they are not loyal to any one line and then they could use best products from all the lines. She said," yeah and then they'ed probably tell me it cost 50.oo and I'd have a heart attack!" LOL 50.00 ! I told her not to bother. BTW she is not hurting for money but still wears green blue(think 60's blue) eyeshadow, and thick eyeliner under her eyes. If you check out MrsTheDoll on youtube you will see what I mean:scared1:

I'll give them a whirl. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm a liquid liner girl, but I carry a pencil in my purse. Right now, I'm in love with TiGi something or nother....that of course, they discontinued. And I'm in like with a Medusa one. I'll have to pick up an Urban Decay to try it out. Thanks! :)

I used the Bain Mirror on my hair and at first I was kind of loving it but then now that I am through it still did not live up to my expectations which btw I have lowered considerably lately.

Hi ladies!!

LOVE BE makeup.. but I started taking the pill 2 months ago and now my face is a wreck! I'm breaking out.. my skin feels bumpy- not smooth and soft like normal. I use st. ives facial scrub, philosophy facial cleanser, and my BE makeup. What can I do to fix this?

I am headed there now.

Every once in a while I get my makeup done at Mac just to see how different they do it. I buy what I am going to buy not a thing more but they really do a great job selling. I never find it hard but just right.

#1 ~ Your BC Pill: Is it generic? My g/f and I somehow got on a conversation about this (it's funny as you get older, how your conversation's change from fun, exciting things.... to the medication you take, and it's side effects! :rotfl:) Annnnyways ~ we realized the g/f's who took the name brands had WAY, less and I mean WAY less breakouts, than the ones taking generic. The Generic users all promptly made an appt with their Gyne and demanded an RX for name brand only. Just a thought....

#2 ~ That stuff I posted a few posts back. That stuff. Juice Beauty Blemish Clearning Serum ANNNND this thing:

My skin ROCKS since using this. :thumbsup2

Hi everyone, mind if I join in?

Has anyone discovered Tokyomilk yet? I love their "Gin and Rosewater" for fruity perfume (very citrus-y with honeysuckle)

For everyday wear, I usually just wear Bath and Body Works P.S. I Love You body spray. I don't even spring for the perfume cause I'm cheap ;) So sad that it's been discontinued! :sad1:

Also, could I get an opinion? I just got a pretty champagne bronze color eyeshadow (Lancome Vue) what do you all think of a neutral shimmer like this for everyday? Too much?

Can't wait to hear what you all have to say popcorn::

No one has sniffed those Lancome D'or scents? Am I gonna make another site unsniffed purchase? :lmao: These: o de l'orangerie & o de l'azur?

I have this new shift at work that I LOOOVE! Love Love Love! It's 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, off hours.....watching servers, and keeping my fingers crossed nothing happens. ;) Not really, but.... pretty much. That being said, because our enviroment is rather stable because of the industry, I do a lot of "Window" shopping, and with Window, I mean MS Window shopping. Hence this increase in my irrational purchases...... at 1am.

Speaking of irrational purchases.... makeup kinda goes hand in hand with clothes, right? Am I reaching? Am I the only one kinda disappointed in this years selection of....anything? I hate everything. Is it just me?

No! But I'm obnoxiously intrigued by anything Honeysuckle. I'm off to Google, as soon as I'm done with this post.;) Sounds deeeeeelicious!

I don't think it's too much. I wear shimmers in the day, all the time. All the time.

Lancome Vue :

Hey, did you happen to sniff those perfumes, while you were purchasing this???

Haha! Thanks CathrynRose! I love Vue, and I've been doing pearly white in my inner corners with the Vue on top--I think it's gonna be a new fave.

Hi ladies!!

but I started taking the pill 2 months ago and now my face is a wreck! I'm breaking out..

When I started the pill many, many years ago, my skin, which had always been blemish-free broke out horrendously. Then it cleared up after 3 months! Hang in there, it may clear on it's own.

Okay now I am loving the BAin Mirror again. I was just in the dining room and caught a look at my hair and it is very shiny so now I am torn do love it or is it just okay!

We have a lancome outlet near me and for some reason I think it now makes me think of cheap makeup. I know it is not but ......

 ~ We have been separated at birth : makeup sisters ~ So do I. I don't even know why.

Case in point. I ran over to Macy's on my lunch, to sniff those perfumes.

The Azur one. Ehhhh. I like it, but it has this undertone in it that every woman I pass in a mall, smells like. I don't like it, for that reason.

The Orange one. Oh boy! I really like it! And it smells like when you walk into the Soarin' room, before you take a seat. Fresh and orangey. Smells deeeelightful!

What's my point? It's Lancome. I don't wanna buy "Lancome". I don't wanna wear "Lancome". LOL! Ridiculous.

LOL! I do not know why I do not like Lancome is it because every time they put out a product they put out the same thing in the L'oreal line and I think who do they think they are kidding this is the same thing but they are tripling the price. Or do I not like them because they also own Maybellene? I know I am not a make up snob because I do use Monostat on my face but for some reason I just feel like Lancome is a wanna be. I feel the same way about Estee Lauder. I was looking for a creme eyeshadow at the Cosmetics Company. The woman showed me the Estee Lauder and even though I loved the color and it was really long lasting (judging from the swatch on my arm) I told her I did not like Estee so she showed me Bobbi Brown which I do not like all that well now that I bought it! Stupid!

Yep! Me too! Clinque, also? Cuz then - Me too!!!

Annnd.... *hanging my head in shame, to you - but not really anyone else, as it seems we are the two with makeup snobbery issues* I bought that Lancome O de L`Orangerie. I wanna gobble myself up. I LOVE IT! I can't stop sniffing me. :cloud9: If anyone asks what I have on, I'm dropping the "Lancome" from the front. Now to perfect pronouncing ~ O de L`Orangerie.

I freaking love it.

If anyone has ever smelled Hempz Cucumber Jasmine lotion, it kinda-sorta smells like that... kinda. It has to be the Jasmine, in it, that I'm detecting from both. I just love love love.
