We just had an Ulta store open up 10 min. from my home! First time I've ever been to one - not sure I like it as much as Sephora and I'm not sure why... can't put my finger on it

As for my Guerlain foundation, Sephora DOES have a free sample of it so I had to order $50 of stuff from Sephora (to get the free shipping too) just so I could get a few more days of foundation, lol.

I've googled - it's not to be found anywhere. How can that be? Going to get rather pricey fast if the only way I can get it is a free sample with ordering online through Sephora...

Ah, but it does give you a good reason to keep ordering stuff. You could always order and return also, making the samples free. Of course I never return anything lol. Except this WEN that I bought. It made my hair like straw. It's going back today.

It was around $60 (a far cry from my usual Everyday Mineral powder) and let me tell you - I swiped that pan until it was bone dry. It was the first time I every used up an entire foundation in my life...LOL

Our Sephora has close to nothing. I wanted to go sniff a bunch of Philosophy stuff before I ordered and they only had 3 of the scents I wanted to smell. the one on 42nd is a palace!

You know I do not like Ulta either ...it is like the Wal Mart of make up stores! I do USE them though if there is a premier brand that I want and I can get 20% off then it is worth it. Sephora only gives 15% off. I know at the Ulta near me the people who work there look as if they went to Clown College. I just hate to buy make up from someone who makes me afraid they will shoot water at me from a fake flower while I am asking a question. Seriously more horribly made up individuals you will not find ANYWHERE. I swear they have not standards.

Just wondering does the Guerlain in Epcot up charge or is it one standard price no matter where you get it? I am just thinking that the heat might cause it to disintegrate or something and it would kill me to spend 100 on make up only to not be able to use it.

What department stores sell it? I know the primer with gold is suposed to be good but I do not think it is better than our friend MONOSTAT at least not 70.00 better. For that it better make me look like Angelina Jolie.

I'm a QVC addict. I ordered it from there because of the return policy. It cleaned my oily scalp and I wasn't even itchy after washing my hair (it usually is), but it made my dry ends worse!

yeah I think I will just stick to my Liquid Keratin shampoo that is supposed to go with the home keratin system. I do not use the system but the shampoo is really good. expensive but good.

Please be sure to let me know how it works. I have it but never used it as I mentioned earlier in this thread. I guess I could try it once but I am afraid because right now my hair is okay. BTW using the tee shirt instead of a towel to dry it helps too. I don't know if any of you read the head wrap thread but it said that you should not wrap your hair in a terrycloth towel when you dry it but use "flour sack" type dish towels to cut down on frizz. I have been using a tee shirt and I blot instead of rub before I dry and it works pretty well. NOt 100 per cent but better than it was.

I will def let you know how I like it. I have been wrapping my hair in a pima cotton tee to make my blowout last longer. I read about the flour sack on MUA but haven't tried it yet. I'm ging to pick them up on my next trip to Target.

After. You wrap it to sleep. It absorbs excess oil so your blowout lasts longer.


Has anyone smelled Summer Grace? I'm in love with this scent! My jumbo bottle came yesterday and I can't get enough of it.

I am going to try this. I may look like an idiot but I will do anything for my hair. Don't you get creases in your hair or bumps from the wrap? My hair is shoulder length do I wrap it up like when you get out of the shower or leave it down and wrap it that way?

BTW I used the Coppola Keratin System that they sell on QVC. It last for two weeks but you get like two months supply. The first time I used it I was not impressed but then I read the bottle and realized I was supposed to shake it. I've noticed this too and I've heard it's due to product build-up. There are products designed to get rid of build-up and also I've heard that baking soda works, too, though probably not as well. I use much less product now than I used to and I've noticed that when I do use it (usually just on the weekends), it works much better than when I used it on a daily basis.
