I was more convinced that I would lose it because it was so small. Who said I Was wearing a bar?:rotfl:

Great Thread!

Has anyone tried Josie Maran Argan Oil? The reviews at QVC are good, but I'd love more opinions before I actually make the purchase.

Speaking of new items, I found a new foundation primer. It is by Philosophy and it is made for red, sensitive skin. It is Keep the Peace Coller Corrector. This is the description from the website:

keep the peace protective color corrector spf 20 camouflages redness; reduces the appearance of fine lines, pores and rough texture; and provides chemical-free, broad-spectrum sun protection.

I put this on with just a light coat / dusting of BE and I'm good to go. Makes the BE look less powdery and more like a liquid foundation too. If that makes any sense at all.

Yeah - I feel primer is an absolute must for any mineral makeup, or power foundation. It just doesn't look right, without it.

I tried to the Stila ones..... ehhhh. There's a color correcting one, and a bronzing one. I like the bronzing one, simply for the bronzing effect, and frankly, I don't really need the color correcting of the other one, but I expected some "dewiness". Nothing. And neither of them hold your makeup on.

Hey guys I bought a dremmel because I do my own nails. I do not like going to nail salons because a friend got a really bad infection. Anyway, a dremmel is like a little emery type rotary thing. It really clears the cuticle and makes it nice and smooth.

I have not tried it. I'm pretty happy with Morrocan Oil (which is also an Argan Oil)

Do you put acrylic on?

HET 3bM how are you doing? I have wanted to buy some Guerlain and the more I see people talking about it the more I think I am going to do it. Do they sell it at Sephora? I have another gift card.

:wave2: Hiya! I am doing well, thanks for asking! Enjoying a nice warm summer (finally) in NH and dreaming about being in Disney as always.... although now that I know they have a Guerlain shop...

You and your gift cards!!!!!!!! What do you have.. a birthday every month???? :rotfl:

Which is which? I should Google.

We talk perfume, too? I'm waiting on my order ~ Missoni Acqua Missoni - to get to my house. I actually bought it site unsmelled. The description just sounded so good:

And have you guys been to here: http://www.fragrantica.com ? That damn site is feeding a perfume addiction, that I don't need fed! (Hence me buying stuff without smelling it!!!) That being said - it's MUA for perfume!

Speaking of scents - anyone have Bobbi Brown ~ Beach? I want.

Only perfumes I've worn are Vera Wang Princess and Estee Lauder Beautiful. You ever notice how names really have an influence on whether you buy it or not? (same with OPI nail colors, lol). I can tell CR is having a thing with beach right now, lol. Actually, that Missoni Acqua Missoni DOES sound really pretty and summery - let us know how it is when you actually get to SMELL it, lol!

Oh man, I almost spit my coffee out on this one :surfweb:

Seriously though, if anyone finds Guerlain Terracotta Skin in Brunette, PLEASE let me know! Today is my last day eeking out the last few drops. :sad1:

Hey Ladies!
Any suggestions on finishing powder??? Used BM for the longest time but just tired of the mess! ( I know they have new jars but I think it will still be messy)

Just wanted to bring up Monistat gel again.....it really is amazing! I have very large pores and it just goes right over them and diminishes them in a second! As a matter of fact my mother gave me some Laura Geller Spackle (which I wanted forever) and I am sorry to say it cant even compare to the $6 Monistat!

My ultimate favorite powder that all my brides love is It Cosmetics ByeBye Pores. On QVC it comes with an awesome powder brush for $38.

They just had it on and I think it was on one of their specials. I wish I saw this earlier. I had not heard of IT cosmetics before so I kind of hesitated. I did not know where it was made.

I have this thing about buying make up made in China because I always feel after all the things we have heard about items made in China I question the ingredients or process.

Totally understandable! Their concealer is amazing for under eyes as well. They're more of a professional brand than consumer brand. I really like their stuff.
