< ~ ~ Back from Disney World. :)

I was gone 9/25 -10/5.

Bought a big bottle of Laila - yum - and a Guerlain Meteorites ($56 :scared1: ) But man - it's so wonderful!!

I also was generous and got my husband a big ol' bottle of Geir, as well as my 14 y/o who wears it, too.

I have to tell you - it was nasty hot!! Nasty! No monistat was holding anything on. Good heavens.

How is everyone?

I am so intrigued by the Latisse reviews, I might have to try it.

How was the chemical peel?

OH!! And I did not bring enough Shampoo/Conditioner. I totally thought I had enough, and I didnt. So, I had brought Redken Blonde Glam, and there was no way I was gonna use Mickey Shampoo.

So I called the salon's in the resorts. The only one open, that I could get to ontime was the one in the Dolphin. And all they sold was some Phyto stuff?? I had never even heard of it. :confused3

$66 later - of a 6 oz Shampoo and some conditioner. It smells good, but it's not like amazing, or something.

Make sure you bring enough S&C. ;)

Welcome Back!

Do you mean my laser peel? It was great my skin is glowing! I've got to up the SPF on my daily sunscreen though. I was driving home from a conference and I could feel the sun on my face. I think it is more sensitive to the sun now. Any recommendations?

I also got some Radiesse filler for the lines between my nose and mouth Tuesday. I love it, the lines are gone! But I bruised really bad. I look like I have a mustache :scared: My Benefit "Erase Paste" isn't covering it enough.

I love everything I had done but I am not doing anymore for a while. I'm a little tired of looking red, swollen, or bruised. Next thing I want to do is some Latisse.

Welcome home Cat. That's a nice long vacation - even if it was monistat-conquering hot!

Phyto was the line of products sold at the salon my husband worked in NYC. I have the Phytonectar shampoo and I love the smell, but I can only use it 3 times a week because it makes my hair greasy looking. I don't use products or heat styling stuff (other than my hair dryer) on my hair so I guess I don't really need extra moisture. :)

My Ulta finally opens on Thursday. I've three days to prepare. What do I need???? I won't get there until after work about 1pm. Is there a reason to be there on opening day when the doors open (good freebies, deals, etc.)? If so, I'll send my husband.

So excited!! So please help me make my must-have list!! :goodvibes

YEAH!! You certainly have waited a long time! All I know is my friend who went walked in and just got tons of stuff on opening day. DEFINATELY go when you get out and if your DH (who I will nominate for sainthood) will go when it opens and gets you whatever you will get it twice. I know all the make up companies are there and they do give tons of stuff.

Hi Cat long time no ...makeup lOL! Glad you had a good time in WDW, I am kind of surprised it was so hot because this is usually the time it cools off. I was there in August and it was hot but mabye I just expected it so I did not bother me so much.

Phyto Shampoo...my friend the one who is always buying things and not using them gave me a bottle and a bottle of conditioner but I have not used it yet because the LIquied Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner are working so well!!

As for Latisse there is a non prescripion one you can get that works just as well it is called LI Lash. Also, there is one that you can get at cvs for 49.00 which I think is the same as the LI Lash but I have not tried it yet. I know someone on this board used it and it was not the person who got the Latisse who I think was Kim R.

Thank you!! I will have my husband go too in the AM before he goes to work. I mean it IS on his way anyway. ;) He's actually really good about that stuff. He knows I like makeup and if he goes and gets me some freebies, I won't spend my $$ on it!!

Did you not have the H2O+ in your room? The stuff in the blue bottles really aren't too bad, but the SPA line that are at the deluxe hotels is actually really nice stuff. I actually have bought some in big bottles after I ran out of the mini ones I brought home.

Also, the lotion is really good. It is really called body butter and I have bought more of that too.

I am a long time user and lover of Bare Minerals. I have Hyperhydrosis (over active sweat glands) and it leads in my hands, feet and face mostly and Mineral Veil is my most favorite thing in the world! It cools down my face and never once has my makeup run down my face or felt caked on with BM! I wear MAC eyeshadow and my trusty cover girl mascara! i have tried MAC minerals but went back to BM shortly after because i didnt like how they made my skin feel. Since I live in Florida I have to make sure my face feels good in makeup and MAC minerals didnt do it for me!
You ladies have given lots of good advice and I look forward to trying some of the moisturizers that you have talked about this winter ( in Florida hahah)!

This is why we love our Owner's Lockers. In my Lockers I have full sizes of Pureology shampoo and conditioner, full sizes of my Curly Sexy Hair products, Bliss cleanser, Almay eye makeup remover pads, a couple of basic makeup items (eyeshadow palette, blush), even a set of makeup brushes! All I have to pack in addition to clothes is whatever makeup I want for that trip. Piece of cake. :thumbsup2

While I was looking for some reviews on makeup tonight, I came across a blog that listed a code for 20% off Sephora orders. It was FF2009 and I did an order with it and it worked. The blog said the dates were today, 10/19 to November 2nd.

This is my first official order from Sephora (bought a couple of things in one of the stores inside a JC Penney store a couple of months ago, but never online), and it was very hard to decide what to buy. I bought two different eyeliners. I had been wanting to try the Urban Decay 24/7 liners and while reading reviews on those came across Makeup Forever Aqua liners, so I ordered one of each. Also picked up this set from Tarte:

I've never tried any of Tarte brand stuff, but for $52 before the discount, I figured it was worth a try and I could always return it if I didn't like it.

You beat me to it Goofy. I used the FNF code yesterday too. Got the UD 24/7 pencil mini set. I LOVE those pencils. Great for the waterline!! Also got more Too Faced Shadow Insurance and some funky fake lashes (like I really needed those).

Can't wait to see what everybody else is jumping on.

Yay, friends & family has started!!!

UD 24/7 liners are wonderful! The only one I've been disappointed in was Zero (black) but I love-love-love Rockstar, Stash, Bourbon and 1999. The bold colors are great, too.

I think I'll get some Dior foundation I've been eyeing...not sure what else as I already have more makeup that should be allowed! :rolleyes1

One good turn deserves another....I got a notice from Philosophy that they have 15% off the total order starting today.

I have a sephora card that I saved with 50 on it so I will be more than happy to buy more make up.

:lmao: I love me some Philosophy, but I bought so much H2O+ stuff that I'm trying to hold off on buying more lotions and shower gels. LOL

I still have a $25.00 certificate to use at Sephora, so I may need to look for some more stuff while the sale is still on. Like I still need more makeup. :rolleyes1

:wave2: Howdy Make-Up Queens, how are you? :goodvibes

I decided to buy the "Ed Hardy" cologne and wanted you all to know it is reallllllly nice. Stop into any Macy's they will give you samples and you can decide if you like it or not. It really is lovely.

Ed Hardy Perfume for women 1.7 oz Eau De Parfum Spray

This fragrance was created with special effects and colorful sensations inspired by the dramatic and cool Ed Hardy tattoo art. Bright and tantalizing citrus effects of Bergamot & Mandarin are touched by the aromatic expression of Thuja and the sharp bite of Clary Sage for added zest. This opening is the perfect preview to a colorful Mint Julep cocktail that matches up with Ozone for a psychedelic explosion of color and effervescence. The result is of super refreshing mint mixed with colorful bubbles that provides a provocative edginess.

Price: $46.99

Well if you still use the Eye Hope Advanced it is worth it to get it at Sephora instead of the Philosophy site because they are only 15% off and I do not know if they have free shipping. I had a 50 GC from so I got that and the Kat Von D eye shadow pallet....just want I need MORE shadows. I swear that if I died and they ran out of dirt they could bury me 6 feet under if they just crushed up all the eye shadow I have and used it in place of dirt. LOL>

HEy once again I forgot who is it that had the ULTA opening near them last week or so? I thought it was Been Here Be 4 ....so what did you get for free?

Hey Bella, yup, that was me. I totally forgot to post what I got - well, actually what DH got for me. He went at 10 and asked them where the freebies were. :rotfl2: They told him he needed the ad to get them so he asked for an ad and they reluctantly handed him the goodie bag. He's too much! Anyway, nothing I really could use in there. Kiwi something hair spray, Hard up hair gel (I don't use hair products), travel size Ulta lip gloss in a very frosty pink (not me), and Coconut Lime body lotion (which I like and smells really nice and lasts all day). So I got some lotion and 3 stocking stuffers! The store is nice and clean, big, has the salon part too. And best thing - they are open on Sunday - nothing here is open on Sunday (blue laws).

And my husband and I joke that we can skip getting a truck load of dirt to level our yard next spring and instead we can just dump my tons of loose shadows back there. :rotfl: Hey, it'd be pretty.

Did you guys see my (crappy) thread:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2312278

Im so bummed. :guilty: I can't even get into a makeup shopping mood. Sick.

When the Friends and Families code was released, I went to Sephora and looked for Laila. Did you guys know, they no longer carry it? It was news to me. It must have been recent?? :confused3

20% off of it may have took a little of my sting away. :headache:

I'm so grossed out that any one could do that. It's just so icky to me. You could hand me a million dollars, and I wouldn't take a dime. I dunno....

Remember those dresses I posted for the Buffett concert - and I got 2 of them? Yeah - those puppies are on some postal worker in Atlanta's body.

Moving on.... the good news is, my Meteorites were NOT in there. :goodvibes So my cheeks are glowing pink.

What'd everybody order from Sephora? What do I *NEED* to buy? :rolleyes1
