The Magician on Crescent Lake. A sister TR 4/28-5/4/24, New TR link 9/22**

Pick a card any card!

We decided to take a Lyft back to DHS so we could rest until the last minute, lol 😆

Our ride was $10.00 with the tip! A regular old bargain for the day!

We needed some PhotoPass pictures at DHS so we did this before the show. H has her new shirt on.

We headed to the Fantasmic dining package line around 8:30. We found good seats about half way up in the center.

I thought we would be high enough to miss the water 💦 splashes. Spoiler we were not!

I think the way the breeze was that night we got a pretty constant very light mist effect the entire show. It was very hot still so we didn’t mind the light mist.

I forgot to mention, I had my popcorn bucket this trip and we did fill it several times. We did get some popcorn for the show and had our water bottles from the room.

The show was amazing as ever! I do love this show. It does give you all the feels, with the characters, music, and Mickey! What a star he is!
IMG_2024-07-07-074124.jpg
H thinks she saw the show in 2013 but didn’t remember much of it and it is different now.
IMG_2024-07-07-074305.jpg
D&I had done it, a few years back.

We waited a little for the area to clear some before we headed out.

We had an Oga’s Cantina ADR for 10pm. We headed over to GE and enjoyed the quiet park.

I checked in and D &H started laughing and when I inquired about it, They said Oga just walked right into the bar, no questions asked! They said a little old lady with big glasses walked right in, she didn’t check with the CM at the stand outside, Just walked in by herself. I totally missed it. We got called in shortly after this and we searched the bar for the little old lady and she was no where to be found.
IMG_2024-07-07-073641.jpg
We had a stand up table with 3 other people. They were very nice and we had a little small talk with them. They ordered the charcuterie board. It looked very strange, lol 😆 I ordered the Bespin Fizz:
IMG_2024-07-07-073908.jpg
Bacardí Superior Rum, Yuzu Purée, Pomegranate Juice, White Cranberry Juice, and a Cloud Swirl

D got the Gold Squadron Lager:

Golden Lager with Lavender and Plum Flavors

H had the Jedi Mind Trick:

Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose Vodka, John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, White Grape Juice, Lime Juice, and Grapefruit Bitter
IMG_2024-07-07-073735.jpg
The drinks are expensive here. We enjoyed our drinks and checking out the Cantina atmosphere. We only did the one drink and worked our way out of an empty park.
IMG_2024-07-07-073949.jpg
We really enjoyed our evening and headed to the boat dock. A boat was there yay! Double yay! The Magician was on board. He was engrossed in a card trick with some other passengers and quickly gave us a nod. We sat down and got the giggles at this. He was rather dismissive to us because he already had an audience.

No one else joined the boat so we took off and once we did he let us in as part of his audience and did several more tricks. He did a rope trick, pick a card any card trick and the card ended up folded in a little box.

It was a fun ride back and we continued with the giggles the whole ride. He even followed us down the lighthouse pier some talking about his tricks. His fellow captain 👩‍✈️ had to do all the boat duties because Magician captain was just too busy!

We got back to the resort settled in and went off to sleep.

Tomorrow would be our last full day!

Stay tuned for This smells amazing!

A little PTR info for my September trip. I can make ADRs tomorrow morning.

Andi and Kait are requesting the new Mexican restaurant at the Dolphin called Rosa Mexicano, The Summer House in DS, and Sanaa at AK Kidani. Those are the most important ones. I was on the website just checking and there looked to be a ton of reservations available for early September so we will see how it goes.

Andi and Kait want to have a date night at DS one night so I will probably go into Epcot and eat around the WS by myself. I don’t think I will make too many reservations since it is F&W and we like going to lounges for food and drinks.

We get in later on 9/5 and have just one night at AS Sports before moving to BWI for 5 nights. We also have 3 nights at Portofino Bay at USO for HHN. I’m not scared you are scared 😱 thriller nights! 5 houses have been announced so far and just meh for me so far. I hope the last 5 they announce are really good. Last year was amazing and I don’t think they can beat that line up!

I will let you know how the ADRs go in my next update!

Not happening, but... there are more and more people, especially families, who can't afford it anymore.
I'm sure Walt wouldn't have wanted that.
"Disney. Where children can't come and play. Sorry kids. Solo adults only."
Very true! I have read attendance is down, the $$ upcharge on everything may finally be a breaking point for some
I love that about the Boardwalk resorts. Such a huge perk. Plus the boats!
🛥️ the boat ride is the best and the walk ability awesome. I’m excited for our BWI stay coming up in September
I hate to break it to you, but... someone took a bite out of your magnet. I'd ask for another.
No wonder it was free :rotfl:
Wait... what? Is this new? First I've heard of this.
Yes you go down the little road with the gardens to your left and go straight ahead to the end and on the right is a little house where Pooh meets and sometimes he has a friend with him! Usually never busy because people don’t know about it.
This has got to be the most well-hidden meet and greet location of any character. It isn't well marked. But it is probably one of the least busy ones.
I agree and like that about it!

I wonder if the other boat captains roll their eyes when they see they're working with the magician. :rotfl: Poor gentleman sounds like he wouldn't be fun to work with, but he'd be great to interact with as a guest!

The Golden Road Mango beer from Baseline is my favorite, too! Alex and I actually went to my favorite bar/grill when I was in the Central FL area last month, and I got so excited because they had it on the menu. It's so light and refreshing on a hot FL day.

Your empty Galaxy's Edge photo looks great. What a fun sight to come out of Oga's to. I wonder what happened to that little old lady. :rotfl:

The show was going to start in just a few minutes. I know some people don’t like to watch from back here because you do have to turn a few times to see all the fireworks. To me, small price to pay for a low crowd spot with fireworks happening all around you!
I really enjoy watching from the back of the castle now.
The park was now open for the deluxe resort guests only and wow it was quiet.
Nice!
We rode 6 rides at a leisurely pace with very low waits. You could definitely ride BTMRR multiple times if that is your thing!
That's awesome!
And hooray for another DIS friend trip. Will there be another bar crawl? Please say yes! :rotfl:
Well maybe not quite as intense as the last one!
Yes, can you two add a few days and come early? We would love to see you! Our trip is 12/5x12/9. Such a bummer we will miss you by one day, ugh 😩
It would be so great to see you @franandaj . Both Caroline and I are pretty tied to our dates because of work but if you have any flexibility with yours that would be amazing!
I found a PhotoPass spot. I love the magic shot here.
It's a great one!
We had the nicest meet up with Pooh Bear. He was really sweet and the character attendant was awesome. She took quite a few pictures for us. No PhotoPass here.
So cute!!!
Any guesses? Baseline Taphouse of course! We had an earlier dinner ADR coming up so we shared the delicious pretzel with the beer cheese and mustard sauce and an order of the spiced almonds! I had the best beer 🍺 this time, it was the Golden Road Mango Cart. This was very light with a hint of mango. The spiced almonds went so well with the beer. You can’t just have one of those.
Yummmmmmmm!
We had MMRR next. Everyone enjoyed this attraction once again and I am less salty and bitter about losing the GMR.
MMRR is growing on. Still not 100% about it though.
The Fantasmic package was an appetizer or dessert, a soda, and entree. We did 2 appetizers to start with. We had the fried dill pickles and the onion rings. Both were good and had good dipping sauces. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries for my entree. H had the Chicken Salad Sandwich on a multigrain croissant and D had the Bahn Mi Burger, this was a house made pork patty topped with pork belly, pickled vegetables, cucumber, and a sriracha aioli.
The meals all sound interesting. Too bad your sister's meals weren't as good as yours.
We had so much food, way more than we could eat! I would normally not do a package but I really wanted good seats for Fantasmic and didn’t want to sit around for over an hour before the show. Time is valuable as well.
It's a lot of food for sure!
We needed some PhotoPass pictures at DHS so we did this before the show. H has her new shirt on.
Cute!
The show was amazing as ever! I do love this show. It does give you all the feels, with the characters, music, and Mickey! What a star he is!
Fun! I don't need to see Fantasmic every trip but will see it once a year for sure.
Hahaha!
I need to see the Magician!

The boat ride over is such a relaxing way to travel.
::yes::
I love taking the boats. :)
headed to TSL and it was surface of the sun hot over there!
Yeahhhh...
"So... let's make the ground a darker shade of concrete."
"Umm... that'll be really hot. You sure you want to..."
"And we'll put the line for SDD right here, in the blazing sun. That way people can tan."
"Don't you mean "burn to a crisp"?"
"I think it's a great plan. Let's go with that."
Here is are unflattering picture!
Disagree. :flower3:
I love this ride! It is my rollercoaster speed!
It's a fun little coaster. I like it. :)
I was able to get a Swirling Saucers for right after Slinky so off we went to twirl around with the aliens! Oooh 😮 awww as they say!
We decided to get a little snack at my favorite place ever!!

Any guesses? Baseline Taphouse of course!
Of course! Best snack spot in DHS? I think so.
We decided on the Muppet’s show next, it is a favorite of mine and just across the way from Baseline.
I do wonder how long it will last.
I mean... they got rid of GMR. How much longer will this be there?
Rise for the 3 of us today was $70.29 that was tax included. Genie + today tax included for 3 was $79.89. :scared1:

The price you have to pay 💰 to have fun these days!
:faint:
She loved Rise and everything was working on the ride including all the Kylo animatronics, yay! :woohoo:
Great! For both her loving it and everything working.
Verdict? We all loved it, except where are we? :confused3
You should have sat on the other side.
This was the elevator where everyone put there arms up! You can’t even see H at all. :rotfl:
But the front row on the other side is pretty funny.
I am less salty and bitter about losing the GMR.
I am too... I suppose it was getting a little dated and MMRR is a fun little ride.
The GMR holds so many memories for Andi and I. She was convinced at one time this was the job she wanted. She had the entire narration memorized.
Awww...
They don’t have audience participation any more but still a fun show.
What??? But that was one of the best parts!
I love this place! I know the food isn’t award winning
No. No it is not. I won't willingly go there again.
IMG_2024-07-07-072936.jpg
That's a nice picture, but...
The screen is pretty funny, considering you're all in "cars".
We had the fried dill pickles
I had high hopes... And they weren't that good. At least not compared to... pretty much anywhere else I've had them.
We all decided my burger was the best choice, D’s choice was 2nd and the chicken salad was just meh 🫤 the croissant was super dry.
Sorry. That's not saying much. The burger is mediocre at best (at best!)
Like I said... won't go again.

Too bad. The venue is terrific.
I would normally not do a package but I really wanted good seats for Fantasmic and didn’t want to sit around for over an hour before the show. Time is valuable as well.
Hmm... That's a very good point.
We had a TSMM after dinner. I was a beaver once again. :sad2:
Some day you'll move up. :)

We decided to take a Lyft back to DHS so we could rest until the last minute, lol 😆

Our ride was $10.00 with the tip! A regular old bargain for the day!
What a deal!

Hmm... I wonder if Disney can learn from that. I would bet that taxis are suffering because Lyft/Uber is cheaper.
Hear that Disney? They're making more money because they're cheaper.
Always a cute shot.
Haven't seen this one before. Nice!
Nice shot of all of you. :)
I thought we would be high enough to miss the water 💦 splashes. Spoiler we were not!
Oh, oh...
I forgot to mention, I had my popcorn bucket this trip and we did fill it several times.
I have never once had popcorn at WDW.

I have had some at DL... and it was soooo good!
But... never at WDW.
Not sure why. Too full from all the other treats, maybe?
We had an Oga’s Cantina ADR for 10pm.
Oh! That's smart. I need to remember this. Although it's been years since I've done Fantasmic!
She probably works in the kitchen. Making sure everything's running smoothly.
I ordered the Bespin Fizz:
Rum. Nope!
H had the Jedi Mind Trick:
This is more my style. ::yes::
He was engrossed in a card trick with some other passengers and quickly gave us a nod. We sat down and got the giggles at this. He was rather dismissive to us because he already had an audience.
Concentrating on his trick?
he let us in as part of his audience and did several more tricks. He did a rope trick, pick a card any card trick and the card ended up folded in a little box.
:) Fun boat ride.
Andi and Kait are requesting the new Mexican restaurant at the Dolphin called Rosa Mexicano, The Summer House in DS, and Sanaa at AK Kidani.
Other than Sanaa (good choice, BTW), I haven't heard of any of those.
I will let you know how the ADRs go in my next update!
Good luck!
Very true! I have read attendance is down, the $$ upcharge on everything may finally be a breaking point for some
I sure hope they get the message...
No wonder it was free :rotfl:
Yes you go down the little road with the gardens to your left and go straight ahead to the end and on the right is a little house where Pooh meets and sometimes he has a friend with him! Usually never busy because people don’t know about it.
Huh. Had no idea.
Then again... I rarely do character meets, so there's that.

Popcorn and Fantasmic are an iconic duo. I always have to get popcorn when I watch that show. You got a lot done at DHS!!! You are like my friend Scotty when it comes to getting the LL's (can we still call them that for the next few days???)

Your September trip planning sounds wonderful. I miss going in the fall. I LOVE MNSSHP. But with school now, there is no way to get down there. I saw that there are some MVMCP's while I plan to be there over Thanksgiving. I've never done the Christmas party - so maybe?

Genie + today tax included for 3 was $79.89. :scared1:
I'm thinking about buying Genie+ for our MK day in August. My sister-in-law is not taking my advice about going to MK on a party day, so we will be there on a crowded day. Genie+ should make is more manageable.
The Fantasmic package was an appetizer or dessert, a soda, and entree.
We bought the SciFi Fantasmic package, too. It turned out that we didn't need it, but you never know.
the chicken salad was just meh 🫤 the croissant was super dry.
I had the chicken salad when we were there in February and it was not good at all.
We shared the Hot fudge Sundae for dessert.
We had the sundae and I loved it. I think it is the best hot fudge sundae in WDW. ;)
The drinks are expensive here. We enjoyed our drinks and checking out the Cantina atmosphere. We only did the one drink and worked our way out of an empty park.
We went here once, and the price of the drinks is the reason we are not going back again.

We were in WDW last September. It was at the same time as your upcoming trip. We found ourselves looking for things to do that were in air conditioning. It was hot but we had a great time anyway. :)

Catching up on the updates I missed while on my own sisters trip!!

My sisters and I will be cruising on the New Treasure in early December 2025! It is a Merry Time Cruise with destinations in The Virgin Islands and a stop a Cast Away Cay!
That’s so exciting!! We did our first DCL in March on the Wish and have been itching for a return trip ever since. The Treasure looks INCREDIBLE! We are looking at booking a cruise for December 2025/January 2026 and I just set my countdown clock today - 500+ days but a countdown is a countdown! Something to look forward to!
We had a Slinky Dog up first so headed to TSL and it was surface of the sun hot over there!
Whyyy is there so little shade in TSL?! I don’t understand it!
Any guesses? Baseline Taphouse of course!
We tried this for the first time on our last trip a few weeks ago and LOVED it! I get the hype now!
The Summer House in DS
Ooo this was another first on our trip. We liked it so much we went to terminal C at the airport on our departure day to have dinner there at the airport location before takeoff and got the exact same meal we had in Disney Springs! Definitely a new fave.

I wonder if the other boat captains roll their eyes when they see they're working with the magician. :rotfl: Poor gentleman sounds like he wouldn't be fun to work with, but he'd be great to interact with as a guest!
The other Captain was a younger man and he was a good sport but I do wonder if they get tired of his antics. The younger Captain said he has watched his tricks many times and still has no idea how he does that. They did work well together overall. One did entertaining and the other did the driving!
The Golden Road Mango beer from Baseline is my favorite, too! Alex and I actually went to my favorite bar/grill when I was in the Central FL area last month, and I got so excited because they had it on the menu. It's so light and refreshing on a hot FL day.
Why have I not got this one before, delicious and perfect for a hot day
Your empty Galaxy's Edge photo looks great. What a fun sight to come out of Oga's to. I wonder what happened to that little old lady.
Honestly the expensive drinks at Oga’s is worth it for the park close ADR. It is really fun walking through GE without a crowd! I wish I would have seen the mystery Oga :rotfl:

I was several updates behind. You're moving right along.

I think I want to try seeing HEA from FL for our upcoming trip. If we can stay in the park with late with the littles it will be so much better from them than the crowds in the Hub.

I really wish you could go try out the new Multi Pass and report back to me how to maximize it before we go. Don't guess there's much time for that now.

I really enjoy watching from the back of the castle now.
I love it and it is never very crowded back there
Well maybe not quite as intense as the last one!
We should do a Skyliner crawl!
So cute!!!
🥰 Thank you
MMRR is growing on. Still not 100% about it though.
Good way to sum it up. I agree totally
Fun! I don't need to see Fantasmic every trip but will see it once a year for sure.
I’m good for awhile now!
I need to see the Magician!
He is hilarious and quite entertaining
I love taking the boats.
Same I love this mode of transportation
Yeahhhh...
"So... let's make the ground a darker shade of concrete."
"Umm... that'll be really hot. You sure you want to..."
"And we'll put the line for SDD right here, in the blazing sun. That way people can tan."
"Don't you mean "burn to a crisp"?"
"I think it's a great plan. Let's go with that."
Yeah that was the head Imagineer saying that :rotfl:
Of course! Best snack spot in DHS? I think so.
Baseline is the best! Disney got this right!
do wonder how long it will last.
I mean... they got rid of GMR. How much longer will this be there?
Oh no don’t say that, I will be so sad if the Muppets closes!
Great! For both her loving it and everything working.
Rise is one that goes down so much or you are in the B mode sometimes so this was a big positive all was working!
You should have sat on the other side.
Right! I’m going to start asking for the front row, I’m not a huge fan of the back and seem to be back there a lot lately
But the front row on the other side is pretty funny.
😆
What??? But that was one of the best parts!
I was really surprised another thing the sick 🤢 changed! It was really a fun part when the guests from the audience participated
No. No it is not. I won't willingly go there again.
Wow, you are salty! I love Sci Fi! The food is average but the place is so much fun!
The screen is pretty funny, considering you're all in "cars".
Haha 🤣 I didn’t even realize the ad until I posted the picture! Cute pic of my sisters though
I had high hopes... And they weren't that good. At least not compared to... pretty much anywhere else I've had them.
Yeah I have had way better fried pickles the dip was really good and the onion rings were very tasty
Too bad. The venue is terrific.
It really is. Sorry you had such a bad food experience
Hmm... I wonder if Disney can learn from that. I would bet that taxis are suffering because Lyft/Uber is cheaper.
Hear that Disney? They're making more money because they're cheaper.
I’m really happy Disney is letting Uber/Lyft on property it is such a nice easy way to travel around Disney and usually fairly priced
I have never once had popcorn at WDW.

I have had some at DL... and it was soooo good!
But... never at WDW.
Not sure why. Too full from all the other treats, maybe?
What no popcorn 🍿 It is pretty good, of course some of the popcorn stands have better than others!
Oh! That's smart. I need to remember this. Although it's been years since I've done Fantasmic!
:thumbsup2 The empty park when you leave it is wonderful
She probably works in the kitchen. Making sure everything's running smoothly.
Haha I wish I would have seen the mystery woman!
Concentrating on his trick?
Probably. He was really funny
Other than Sanaa (good choice, BTW), I haven't heard of any of those.
I’m excited for Sanaa. The other 2 are newer places, I’m excited to try something new
Huh. Had no idea.
Then again... I rarely do character meets, so there's that.
You need to go back there and say Hi 👋 to Pooh Bear!

Popcorn and Fantasmic are an iconic duo. I always have to get popcorn when I watch that show. You got a lot done at DHS!!! You are like my friend Scotty when it comes to getting the LL's (can we still call them that for the next few days???)
I’m so happy I can use my popcorn bucket from a past trip! I remember when the refill was .50 cents now it is $2.25. I did get good at modifying and stacking the Genie. I use to be really good at the FP+ dance as well so I hope I still got it!
Your September trip planning sounds wonderful. I miss going in the fall. I LOVE MNSSHP. But with school now, there is no way to get down there. I saw that there are some MVMCP's while I plan to be there over Thanksgiving. I've never done the Christmas party - so maybe?
I love Halloween time at the parks. It is our favorite time to travel down to Orlando. People think we are nuts because of the hot weather but we love it!
We are going to do a MVMCP this year. I’m really looking forward to it. December is also lovely down there!
I'm thinking about buying Genie+ for our MK day in August. My sister-in-law is not taking my advice about going to MK on a party day, so we will be there on a crowded day. Genie+ should make is more manageable.
I think you will need it! We are visiting MK on two party days in September! The crowds are much bigger on non party days.
We bought the SciFi Fantasmic package, too. It turned out that we didn't need it, but you never know
Same, it was very nice not to go and sit like an hour+ before the show. Those metal seats are not the best for a long time!
had the chicken salad when we were there in February and it was not good at all.
Yeah H did not like it at all. I gave her some of my burger and she liked that.
We had the sundae and I loved it. I think it is the best hot fudge sundae in WDW. ;)
We loved it! I couldn’t remember the last time I had a hot fudge sundae yum! 😋
We went here once, and the price of the drinks is the reason we are not going back again.
I don’t think I need to go back again unless my son makes a trip with me. He loves everything Star Wars!
We were in WDW last September. It was at the same time as your upcoming trip. We found ourselves looking for things to do that were in air conditioning. It was hot but we had a great time anyway.
We love the heat. It definitely is hot. I think last year it got to me a little more than ever before maybe because I’m getting old, lol 😆

I’m so excited for a Disney Cruise. I’m glad you enjoyed the Wish! The count down is a long one but I know the way time seems to fly nowadays the huge countdown will go quickly!
Whyyy is there so little shade in TSL?! I don’t understand it!
I know! We do try to avoid in the middle of the day if we can.
We tried this for the first time on our last trip a few weeks ago and LOVED it! I get the hype now!
Isn’t is great. The atmosphere, light bites and drinks are the best! I’m sure we will be making time for it in September!
Ooo this was another first on our trip. We liked it so much we went to terminal C at the airport on our departure day to have dinner there at the airport location before takeoff and got the exact same meal we had in Disney Springs! Definitely a new fave.
We did brunch here for the first time in April, coming up in the TR. I’m excited to try the dinner menu and the famous Rose wine!

You have been busy! I would recommend watching in FL, it is really nice and never really crowded!
Haha. I hope my old FP+ skills aren’t too rusty! I use to be able to get rolling FP+ all day long after the first three!

Hello Everyone!
We are finally getting summer here in Duluth! It is going to be 80-85 all week. This is about as hot as it gets here! I’m so excited and my husband is already worried about it being to hot :sad2: If it is hotter than 70 he is complaining! I love it! I hope it lasts all month long!
I got our few ADRs very easily.
We will try the Rosa Mexicano Friday night after our day at DHS. The restaurant is in The Dolphin so it will be close to our resort BWI.
We will have a late lunch at Sanaa on Saturday and dinner at The Summer House in DS on Sunday.
Monday will be Nomad lounge or Satuli QS for an early lunch, F&W snacks in the evening and EMH at Epcot this night.
Tuesday is MK, not sure about lunch maybe we will go over to the Poly. I will do more F&W on my own Tuesday night. Andi and Kait will go to DS for a dinner date.
If the new corn dog booth is open on the Boardwalk I will try that! How can it take a year to open a corn dog kiosk on the Boardwalk :confused3
Wednesday is Epcot before we head to Universal. I did get a late lunch at Homecomin for us. I’m not sure if we will do this or not. We have our first really late night on Wednesday for HHN and we will need to rest some before heading to The Horror. I am very jumpy and scream a lot so it tires me right out! Plus it is usually still 90 degrees with high humidity all night long!!
We haven’t decided on our reservations for dining at Universal yet. We do really like Antojitos and of course Strong Water Tavern!
I will let you all know how the new/old FP+ works for me when I do this 7 days before our trip! Does anyone remember making a week long reservation at FW campground before your real resort reservation? Oh yeah I use to do this to get all the FP+ I wanted at the 60 day mark! You could then cancel the campground reservation and keep all your FP+ for your real reservation! I had so many tricks! :rotfl:

Anyways none of that anymore. I will be doing it the regular way and of course, paying for the service at the 7 day before our resort reservation.

I think that is it for now! Enjoy your summer days!
I am going to visit my mom at the end of the week but I will be back next week to update my report!
Thanks for reading! :wizard:

Here we are over the years on our mother/daughter trips!

Baseline is the best! Disney got this right!
::yes::
Oh no don’t say that, I will be so sad if the Muppets closes!
Me too... But... so many attractions gone... I never thought Splash would go away. I guess in a sense, it hasn't, but...
Rise is one that goes down so much or you are in the B mode sometimes so this was a big positive all was working!
::yes::
Right! I’m going to start asking for the front row, I’m not a huge fan of the back and seem to be back there a lot lately
Easy enough to do. I've never had a problem getting the front (or back or wherever) row on any ride.
Wow, you are salty! I love Sci Fi! The food is average but the place is so much fun!
I'd say the food is below average. Makes me sad. I really do like the venue, too.
Cute pic of my sisters though
Yes!
Sorry you had such a bad food experience
More than once.
What no popcorn 🍿 It is pretty good, of course some of the popcorn stands have better than others!
I guess there's just so many food options that popcorn isn't really on my radar when I'm there.
You need to go back there and say Hi 👋 to Pooh Bear!
Maybe so. Especially since he's named after my home town.
We are finally getting summer here in Duluth!
Here too!
We will try the Rosa Mexicano Friday night after our day at DHS. The restaurant is in The Dolphin so it will be close to our resort BWI.
Taking the boat over?
Monday will be Nomad lounge or Satuli QS for an early lunch,
I vote Nomad
If the new corn dog booth is open on the Boardwalk I will try that! How can it take a year to open a corn dog kiosk on the Boardwalk :confused3
Hadn't heard of this, but... yeah... that seems excessive.
I did get a late lunch at Homecomin for us.
:thumbsup2
I’m not sure if we will do this or not.
Not.... sure...

:faint:
I am very jumpy and scream a lot so it tires me right out!
:lmao:
Does anyone remember making a week long reservation at FW campground before your real resort reservation? Oh yeah I use to do this to get all the FP+ I wanted at the 60 day mark!
This is the first I've heard of it! Wish I'd known that, then!

:rotfl:
I never knew about this trick or I might have tried it. :rotfl:

The one trick I used in the old fp+ days was to use extra tickets to get extra fastpasses. That worked until Disney changed the rules and required you to enter the park before the fp was valid.

Your dinning plans sound great. You're eating at some new places so I can't wait to read you reviews.

Have a great visit with your Mom.

Me too... But... so many attractions gone... I never thought Splash would go away. I guess in a sense, it hasn't, but...
I’m excited to see the newly rethemed Splash. I think the Country Bears will be open we are there. It will be fun to see the difference between the old and new.
Easy enough to do. I've never had a problem getting the front (or back or wherever) row on any ride.
I need to request the front next time!
Taking the boat over?
Yes we will definitely take advantage of the boat 🚤 and maybe the Magician will be on board :rotfl:
vote Nomad
Your vote aligns with mine :thumbsup2
This is the first I've heard of it! Wish I'd known that, then!
Yes, this was when Disney combined your resort stays as one continuous stay, which they should! It was really nice for getting the times you wanted for FoP, SDMT etc.. you remember the rides we didn’t have to pay for!
never knew about this trick or I might have tried it.
It was a god one! It also helped with the harder to get ADRs, now Disney doesn’t even count your real multiple resort reservations all as one, stupid!
The one trick I used in the old fp+ days was to use extra tickets to get extra fastpasses. That worked until Disney changed the rules and required you to enter the park before the fp was valid.
We did this as well. Actually you just needed an extra MB and you could actually double dip until they figured that out!
Your dinning plans sound great. You're eating at some new places so I can't wait to read you reviews.
Thank you 😊 I’m excited to try the new places!
Have a great visit with your Mom.
Awww 🥰 Thanks, I can’t believe she is 90 now and still quite active!
