Hi all! I hope you don't mind me barging into this thread, but I have been lurking for awhile now and I'd love to try and join a meet if we can! We will be at AK on the 29th (also planning on that evening's EMH) and I'd love meet some of my fellow Diser's.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I have never met any Diser's at WDW before (although I have tried -- the lady in the lime green shirt at the parade thought I was crazy when I came running over to ask her if she was a "Diser." )

Anyway, we will be a party of 6 -- me, dh, 2 ds's and 2 dd's. I can't believe we're down to 28 days and counting!

Hey our Moms can sit and chat while we ride.... my mom has some heart issues and can't ride rides like EE..... don't even know if she will be able to do Splash Mountain or not....


I was thinking about a meeting time for EE.... since the park closes to the public at 5pm and hopefully everyone doing AK that day will be doing EMHs, I thought 6pm would be a good time... crowds should be thinned out by then.
If anyone that knows has any advice I am all ......

I talked this plan over with my Mom this morning and she was all for it... she especially liked the idea that I would have company on a ride or 2.... She isn't sure if she will do splash or not, she will decide how she feels that day... as much as I would like her to, I won't push her cause she knows her health better than I do.


Oh and almost forgot... anyone that has someone in their party that won't ride in either of the ride meets, they will have company and my mom mentioned they could get a drink and sit and talk!!!


One month from today, will be spending the night in Georgia on my way to DISNEY!!!!

(Best part of driving down, have more goals.... first day of vacation, day we start on trip, and day we arrive at Disney)

What part of Georgia? We'll be at the Atlanta Aquarium the morning of the
25th, leaving there right after lunch for the rest of the drive to Disney. We have 3 vehicles traveling together. hehe

If anyone sees a Honda Odyssey with license plates 2Disney that would be us!

Me too! I start my vacation on August 22nd, from my job. I do not go back until. Get this.. Sept 11th! Nothing but Disney can get better than this!!

Michelle, this post, got me so excited!! I cannot believe we are down to a month. I can clearly remember, back in March/April. When the trip planning all began. Ohhh we are almost there!!

Has anyone started to pack yet?? I think I will definately, start to pack 2 weeks from now. I think my plan is to take 2 big bags, and one small roll on. Filled with waters, snack foods, breakfast bars. My window decorations. I will empty this roll on to pack souvies on the trip home. But then again, I could check 3 bags, and not bother with the roll on. That way, I can just have my baggallini, in tow. I am way excited!!

We will be at the Poly 8/26 - 9/3. We didn't get the hopper so according to our ADR's the only possible day I might be able to make one of the meets would be MK on Sept 2. I guess for me it will have to be a wait and see. I hope you all have a magical vacation

Hello everyone! I just found this thread and would love to get in on some meets. It will just be DD12/13 (she is having a birthday) and I. We are staying at SSR and am looking forward to trying the dining plan for the first time. We are arriving on the Aug 29th Late and leaving on Sept 3 as late as possible. Here are our plans and we are definitely going to try to make the 2 meets at MK.

8/30 EE MK 8:00 ADR CP 10:05 then over to MGM later in the day 6:50 Mama Melrose
8/31 AK in the am, EPCOT later 7:00 San Angel Inn
9/1 Enjoy our resort/ SSR participate in some of the activities possibly a trip to DTD and Mini golf at Winter/Summerland 7:40 Turf Club
9/2 AK in the am, off to MK in the afternoon 7:00 Tony's Town Square
9/3 MK in the am 8:40 Kona Breakfast, then to EPCOT for good bye lunch at 12:30 Lecellier


Anyone up for a Mini golf game on 9/1!
