The Magic Villas in Windsor Hills

Over the last week I have made 5 tentative reservations, finally settling with a 3 bedroom townhouse in Windsor Hills. The reservation is confirmed, deposit paid, and I would like to hear from those of you who have any recent experience with the Magic Villas. I will be staying in Magic Villa 6, and haven't seen any recent comments. I am a newbie and reserved at Staybridge Suites, and Buena Vista Suites. Thanks to this site, I found Windsor Hills. I'm looking forward to October!!!

I too am booked in Villa 6 for August. I havent seen too many reviews but the ones i saw were good (mostly on the other villas as i guess this was one of the newer ones). If you do a search on Magic Villa Windsor Hills you will find some posts on them. I only saw one or two for villa 6 and although the poster liked it they were complaining a little that the wall covering was peeling a bit. That doesnt bother me i just want a very clean place with nice people to deal with. The place does look amazing though, my girls will be thrilled. I am keeping it a surprise.
I was originally booked onsite at Contemporary since last summer. My husband was dead set on staying onsite. I came across the condo and just had to change my husband's mind as i knew my 3 girls would love it. Once he saw the website & i told him the price difference we would be saving, he told me to book right away. I did that, paid my deposit, etc.... I havent cancelled the disney reservation yet but about 95% sure we are staying in the villa. Onsite is just too expensive and this seems like the perfect place since we wont be staying onsite at least we will have the nice disney theming to keep us in the spirit. I saw many condos online and this was by far the nicest looking one for my girls and one of the newer ones.

I'm going to cancel my other reservations. Because they were hotel reservations I only had to leave a credit card. I'm stuck with Magic Villa because I paid the deposit, though my family is happy with the decision.

I got a GREAT deal on the Magic Villa as all of their units if booked for September 1st through November 30th for at least 7 days, are 30% off and the housekeeping fee is waived. They have a lot of availability for those dates on all 6 units. I can't believe that for $80.50 a night, I got a 3BR 3BA townhouse with themed kids room and inground splash pool. I paid the extra for the pool heat, as we are going in October, bringing us to only $91 per night. I was happy to leave the deposit. I did do some searches on this site for reviews, but I didn't see anything recent (2009). What I did read convinced me to remit my card number.

For those interested in the discount those going in September or November will save more, as the base price for those months was $99, so only $69 after discount! October is higher at $115 per night so only $80.50 after discount. The discount isn't applied to their online quote. You have to submit a quote request or 'Contact Us' and request the 30%. The price was reflected on my contract. I don't know when this deal will expire, but I hope I've helped someone like this site helped me.

We will be staying in the Magic Villa 3 at the end of April, not the same as 6 but I'm pretty sure they wont be too different so I will let you know how it goes. I have seen a couple reviews on here about the Magic Villas and so far nothing bad.

Wow i wish i could have gotten a bit better rate. I am paying $125 per night I am going on August 24-29. i was really wishing she would have some discounts since that is practically when alot of kids are back in school. Im going to check back on the website and see if there isnt any more info on last minute specials. It would have been nice if she could have waived the cleaning fee or offered an extra night.

Yesterday I got a quote from Rita, and also enquired about the 30% promo.

I told her I would discuss it with my husband when I got home.

Then a few hours later she sends me an e-mail stating the 30% is only good until the evening - and we must book now if we want to use it.

Sorry, but as much as a promo is good - pressure tactics don't impress me.

twolittlebirds, I know that seems kind of crazy to only have the offer valid until the same night you inquired. She could have at least given you a few days???
Can you tell me when you were planning to book for?

We are going in August for which i put a deposit down two months ago. I have looked at her availability on all of her condos and July & August seems to be pretty open with dates on alot of them. I am hoping she can come out with some kind of better offer. im currently staying 5 nights but would be nice to have a discount off a 6th or 7th night than i may stay longer. I guess i can always ask.

Wow. It sounds like they were planning on changing their rates that night, since now they're only offering 20%. It's a shame they couldn't give you more time to decide though. The owner of the condo I was orginally going to book gave us at least 24 hours to make a decision. I would've booked if I didn't get the great rate I got on the townhouse. Like you said though, their loss. I hope you find a great deal with someone you feel more comfortable dealing with.

two*little*birds....I had the same discussion with Rita last night and felt just like you. While I did like the decor in those rooms, I choose not to book due to what I felt was a pressure tactic. Good luck in your search.

Nope...I just booked with Rita TODAY and got the 30% off as advertised! I will also be staying in Villa 3 in October...hope to hear from some of you how your stay was!
