The picture of NR and her balloon was so sweet!!! :lovestruc

Love the pictures in front of the Castle where everyone is acting silly. Those always turn out to be the best pictures!

Matt's nighttime postcard shot is awesome!

before I give some hello's I have sad news to share...for those of you who do not know, we said goodbye to our beloved and wonderful dog Maggie earlier this week as we sadly needed to put her to rest...

That's so great that you were able to have fun in the MK after the crowds cleared out! Your girls fairy picture is very cute! And NR's balloon is as big as she is!!! Looking forward to seeing what other adventures you guys got into that night!

yes the night ended up being wonderful! the faries were most fun to meet :goodvibes

LOL the balloon is almost as big as her

wow! What a great night. You all did so much!

Love the pictures of you guys all in winter gear eating ice cream! I remember when you posted that on FB and I laughed at it!! (You all got the cold weather and must have taken it home with you -- so let me be one of the first to say THANKS!!!!);)

:goodvibes

I've never thought of taking photos on Buzz...will add that to my list.

yes they make for some fun photos we try to do before you start shooting

Love the photos of all the girls with Tink.

NR looks so happy to see the Fairies.

thanks and she did!

Jungle Cruise with no line??? How did you manage that? Sweet!!

it wont be the last either ;)

Your castle photos are great!

thank you!

We bought Rachel her first ever DIsney Balloon, too, this year. We got the light up one and she just loved it. You were so smart though to get a picture of the balloon in front of the castle. I'm lifting that idea from you, too!!

go for it :thumbsup2

Oh, had to laugh at the pic of Matt all bundled up in his scarf on PeopleMover!

Sounds like a great time. Love being able to walk from BLT and doing MK late!

yes it is such a bonus being that close

I love the feeling of the MK at night! Some of our best moments from our last trip were from the EMH night we spent there.

I like being there late at night!

Those Dole Whips look so delicious! YUMMM!

I love the picture of the girls with Zurg! They look so mean and nasty! LOL!

I know ;)

And the pic of Daddy and Bekah snoozing on the Peoplemover is priceless....with matching scarves, no less. Love it!

funny they were cute

Time spent with the kids one on one (or one on two in your case) is so important. How fun that you were able to do that with your older girls. Those are memories they will cherish forever! :thumbsup2

yes i agree :goodvibes

awww, what a fin night and how cozy you look in your scarves! I love love love the balloon picture, incredibly sweet.

Matt and i made them a few weeks before we left, I was glad it was cool enough a few nights to wear them! Rachel still had hers on yesterday at home even though it was 70 degrees out :rotfl:

What a fun night! And it isn't over yet!

nope

I'm glad Tink liked the Tink pin I sent you. :goodvibes

she did

I love Matt's nighttime castle shot!

:goodvibes

I love all the fairy pictures, they're so fun!
I love the family shots too, the scarfs are awesome!

thanks, we love the scarves too :thumbsup2

What a fun night, yikes about being packed in like sardines at first, but glad you made it through and got to enjoy the parade.

yes I was a bit nervous

Soaked on pirates, that is just scary and I need to hear more about this

I think its hit or miss...but either the splsh on the little drop has changed but i know the splashes from the cannon balls have gotten larger...that is how they got wet

Love love love the matching scarves

I just had to do it, so glad everyone went along w/ it!

NR fairy interactions are too cute, and love the balloon shot.

Can't wait to read about the girls midnight adventures:goodvibes

thanks and coming up soon!

Kathy

yes they did :thumbsup2

I love the pictures, your kids are really cute!

thank you!

what is a mini timeline book? what do you put in it and how do you make it?

I started to realize i had taken pictures of the kids in some of the same locations during 3 of our previous trips and it was so cute to see how they were growing...now i take one in a certain spot per trip. I created these little timeline books out of a simple chipboard album. I put their picture in the book and watch them grow :thumbsup2

here is a link to my BLOG that shows pictures of them:

Night of day 1 and literally the wee hours of day 2):

I last left off w/ us splitting up and the girls and I off on our own little adventure…it was now midnight and EMH was in full (empty) swing!

We headed back over into Fantasyland and walked right on the Carrousel:

DSCN1260.jpg

Then it was off to have some fun on the tea cups…now at this point the CM was checking for the guests room cards and I had my handy but was searching for the girls…you’d think he’d let us on w/ just mine but was saying “if you are old enough to be at the MK after midnight you are old enough to hold your room key” oh pooey

We stepped to side of the line till I was able to pull the cards out of my purse at that point Bekah just kept her room key in her lanyard pouch.

We found the perfect cup and got ready to spin…

“not to fast” Rachel reminded us…

I had told the girls to squeeze together for a picture and this is what I got…such a cute picture of the two of them…it’s like they really like each other [wink]

DSCN1261.jpg

I tried to take this picture of me…not so easy inside a spinning cup w/ the camera strap around your neck [haha]

DSCN1262.jpg

DSCN1263.jpg

After we got our bearings from spinning they wanted to go on the Speedway so off we went for that

Bekah rode by herself and I went w/ Rachel. I tried to get a few pictures too, but this was my best one:

DSCN1264.jpg

Now I had thought Bekah had got off the ride before us and didn’t see her when we retuned and walked out of the ride still not seeing her. So I texted her. I got a tad nervous when she didn’t respond right away and then she appeared…she had got off before us but was waiting for us in the viewing stands and we didn’t see each other…ok minor crises averted.

Rachel was now tired and I admit so was I. We decided to heading out of the park now…but not before I stopped for some another PP picture [laughing]

I know I can’t help it!

I took a few more pictures of the castle myself and of the girls on MS.

I then had Bekah stand under the clock and she was tapping her wrist like we are out so late…bad [ha]

DSCN1270.jpg

The front of the park was empty at almost 1 am and I was able to capture these last two shots of our very long but excellent fun first day rolling into the next….

DSCN1272.jpg

Rachel said she was way too tired to walk back to BLT and convinced me to take the monorail so up the ramp we went walked onto the waiting monorail and then quickly realized w/ Bekah’s help we were on the wrong rail Whoops!

Good thing we figure it out before it left….we got off walked down the ramp out the gate and up the other ramp to the resort line. We had a few minutes to wait and I took a few more pictures:

DSCN1276.jpg

Can you tell they are tired?

I tired to get a nice shot of the low moon over CR and one of BLT all lit up, but they are a bit blury:

DSCN1275.jpg

We got on the monorail and the girls laid down each on a bench:

All done….

Up NEXT: Start of Day 2) the Magic happened here…at O’Hana after we slept till when?

thanks for reading J~

before I read the new update, just wanted to say so sorry about your dog. :(

and thanks for your link to your blog - I love the idea of the timeline albums! I used to scrapbook but now I make books on shutterfly, lol. I know it's silly! however I do think it's a great idea to do a lineup of pictures in the same places! So far I only have a few repeat pictures though - like with a certain character or something - but maybe after a few more trips!

I'm very sorry about Maggie - she made a very lovely fairy princess!

Your evening at the MK sounds like a lot of fun! Love all of your Photopass pics!

So sorry about Maggie. I know how hard that can be.

I can't believe that was only Day One!! You were busy little bees! What a great day...can't wait to hear more. :goodvibes

Julie, first and foremost, I am so sorry to hear about Maggie. We have a 14-year old bichon who has cancer and I am dreading the day we have to do that.

I love your family night at the MK...it looks cold, but fun.

And what a great time you had with the two older girls after the others left. Such fun.

And I love the photopass pictures, especially the "Mickey ears" one.

Sorry about Maggie, that is hard, even though it's a profile shot of Nathan, you can see the sadness.

What an amazing girls night during EMH. Looks like you ladies had a lot of fun. Love the shot of the girls on the teacups and at the front of the park. Can't wait to read about Ohana:goodvibes

So so sorry about your dog, Maggie. The pictures brought tears to my eyes. It is so hard to lose a pet, who is a member of your family. :sad1:

The "girls night" at MK looked wonderful! What incredible memories you made with your girls!

Subbing in - great TR so far.

So very sorry about your dog. It is so hard to say goodbye to a wonderful pet.

You have a lovely family and I am amazed how much you all did on your first day at the world. Wow - that was like 2 days!

Dole whips in the winter. They really are good anytime, aren't they?

Love the matching scarves and you got a lot of great PP pictures.

I bet a 2BR at BLT is amazing. Maybe someday if I ever have lots of extra points to spare.

I am so sorry for your loss :grouphug:

Way to go till the bitter end, very impressive. Pretty cute about taking the monorail, I can't imagine that really saves any time does it? A 5 minute nap?

Very cute and fun girls night!

Hi Jules - I'm sorry you guys had to go through that with Maggie this week. I hope you are all doing better.

What a fun girls night! I'm so glad Bekah was open to Rachel sharing in the fun!

:grouphug: So sorry to hear about Maggie. It is so hard to have to say goodbye to a loving member of the family. :sad1: You will remember all the good times, though!

You all did well to keep going until you did at MK!! Not sure if I would be able to!! I tend to start fading around 9pm - that's what shift work does to you!!

I'm there 19-30 October this year - you are there earlier aren't you? I think when you are there I'll be on the Wonder somewhere off the coast of California!! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to more updates when you can!! :surfweb:popcorn::

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about Maggie :( My thoughts are with you and your family.

In happier news, that was a great update! Sounds like so much fun being out late with the older girls.

Just found your TR and am really enjoying it. You have some really great photos. What kind of camera do you use?

I am reading along to see how the GAC works with the rides. My DD and her family are going with us in august and my DGS has never been dianosed but we are all pretty sure he is on the spectrum. He has sensory issues and is a "flight" risk when he is on overload. Crowds, noises and bugs all impact him but he is really looking forward to the trip.

So sorry about your furbaby. I will be making that last walk soon with my mom's dog and my furbaby Nikki won't be far behind. It's not a walk I am looking forward to taking.

Looking forward to more of your adventures.
