Wow, Alex was our main dining room server on our cruise last Christmas! I'm so glad to hear he's promoted to Palo now. He was really a good server! My DS saved one of his extra tip cards just for Alex, because Alex would always find him plain cheesecake, no matter if it was on the menu or not.

He is a truely lovely person.....we hope he will be there next year for our 'Double Dip"

Since Christmas is around the corner, my family will be opening up gifts I collected on our trip, which will make me think about it even more. I broke out my CC holiday shirt (it's a kids large and so darned cute, I got a matching pin that matches!) and wore it. I got one for Jack, but he doesn't have a clue. heeheee
I'm still kicking myself for not getting the new CC towel for the kids. What a dope! Well..guess I better go back again and pick one up. heehee Is it the summer of 07 yet? Wait! Shoot! We won't be going there. UGH!!

When they did the Western Coast cruise, do you know if they had special merchandise?

BTW....my family LOVES Alex!!! He was our server on our first cruise. We learned a lot about his family. Very touching. Then when we saw him at Palos, it was like we ran into an old friend. The kids got to see him at the old Scoops (what's it called now?? Surfer, Longboard? Paddle me hard? I can't remember!). They were tickled!

I still think it's totally funny that my server, Julio, looks just like Billy Bob Thorton (or Mark Messier if you are a hockey fan).

Paris doesn't want to take her braids out! UGH!! It's looking a little scary. I told her let's "unwrap" it on Christmas Eve....and your new fluffy, wavy hair can be a Christmas present. She's thinking about it. At this rate, I'm doing it when she's asleep!!!

Kitty, I had my braides for a week before I took them out...along with a sink full of broken hair. You should see the "after" picks....I looked like Don King or Tracy Chapman!!

Hey! I miss the cruise so much! Unforunately, I'm not in the picture with all the DISers in it, that stinks! I must have been walking around. If someone who will be on the cruise soon and is a teenager will you please tell the counslerors at the stack that lara, josh and nate say hi. If they don't remember who we are tell them that josh proposed to her. good times and that lara is the one that always smiled and did the thumbs up and was always looking for jackie lol that would be awesome

Paris woke up 2 days ago and said it was time to take them out. We tossed in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and unwrapped her hair. It was all big and fluffy. She loved it. Yesterday she woke up and it was looking a little knotty. I tried to brush it and gave up and tossed it in a pony tail. Last night, she took it out and it looks like a great beginning of dreadlocks. I'm doing a deep conditioner on her this morning to get the knots out. Wish me luck. Her hair is down to her butt. Yeah, fun times.
Oh yes, she woke up this morning almost in tears saying that nobody likes her hair down and that she should have kept it in braids. She's quite the drama queen! She asked to go to a local kids hair shop to get her hair french braided because I'm no good. Isn't that lovely? Little stinker.

I see you guys got some scrapbooks! Let me know how yours turn out. Share some of your layouts and I'll do the same.

I bought 2 Disney Magic pins by accident so I gave one to my Auntie. She said it was great but then tried to make me feel bad by saying she wants to go on a cruise but she'll never afford it. Grrr!

I was hoping to get a Minnie or Donald painting that they were auctioning on the ship. Darn, I didn't get one. My "big" gift is a tattoo. Did anyone buy artwork on the ship?

Did anyone get their Postcards that they mailed from the Castaway Cay Post Office?
It has been 3 weeks but with the Christmas Rush......I expect they will take longer then usual......
