Day 2 Epcot

Woke up fairly early again but we took it a bit easy as we had to check out of BCV today :( due to DVC availability we had 2 nights BCV, one night BWV and then the last 4 nights at AKL.
We packed up all our bits and pieces, showered and got dressed and then called down to bell services to come pick up our bags and take them to BWV for us.

We then left our room and headed over to Epcot. It's so easy to walk to Epcot from where we were!
We were at the gates in about 3 minutes. We walked in and made our way to France for breakfast :D I grabbed a croissant but jenny had a granola yoghurt for breakfast back in the room so she didn't get anything. The smell in the bakery is so authentic, it's just like being in a real French bakery. The staff were just as miserable too ;)

We then made our way to future world, stopping on the way for a few pictures while there was no one around (that part was awesome too, having hardly anyone there).

First up was our reservation for Test Track, the way it worked out Jen and I had a screen each so we designed a car each. I can't remember who's came in first place but it was fun to be able to do our own.

My car

Jen's car

Those were both hideous beasts werent they? LOL

We then made our way over to the seas and nemo which was a walk on. We walked around for a little while and watched some dolphin training before heading back out into the sunshine (gotta make the most of it compared to back home!)

We grabbed a drink and sat for a min, Jen grabbed a quick tobacco stop before making our way into the land pavilion.

The queue for soarin was too long to get a return time on the DAS so we just went to use our fast passes on living with the land. I really love this boat ride, I know I've said it before, I can remember the first time I found it - on our honeymoon. I was blown away by it, seeing everything growing outside. I'm obviously easily pleased ;) (those who know me will serious doubt that statement haha).

We then made our way over to Teppan Edo for our lunch ADR. We stopped at a few places on the way over for Jen to get some drinks of the alcoholic kind. We had a short wait before our ADR time so Jen went off for a cigarette break while I went round the shop, Jen had also grabbed a hot saki from the bar opposite the check In Podium where we checked in. We were given a buzzer that went off before we reached the top of the stairs so we went right in and were seated with 1 other family. Jenny skipped a drink as she still had the saki she bought downstairs, she had intended on drinking it first but the buzzer had gone off so quickly so she didn't get chance. I ordered a diet coke. Jenny ordered the shrimp while i decided on, wait for it..... chicken! What a shocker there eh? ;)
Someone at our table either had an allergy or was vegetarian as someone came out to speak to them about cross contamination and asked if they would like their food cooked out back but they declined.

The show and the food was as always, delicious.

We got a few pictures outside before heading off to meet vettelover and mrs vettelover by the funnel cake stand in the American pavilion.

We were a little early so Jen went off to have a cigarette. I wasn't alone for long though as the vettes soon arrived and we got chatting right away. Jen came back with more drink and said hello. We were chatting about life, disney and escaping the cold back home when a CM needed to get in the gate we were stood in front of so we moved but she couldn't jiggle the gate open so lovely Mr vettelover helped get it open and off she went inside. A few minutes later though she came back out with a funnel cake for us to say thank you! How sweet is that?! Not ones to turn down funnel cake we gladly accepted ;)

We made our way inside the American counter service and grabbed a soft drink and a seat. We chatted for quite a while longer but the time did come that we would have to leave so we could check into the boardwalk. It was about 4:30pm by the time we said our goodbyes.

We hot stepped over to the international gateway and made our way over to the boardwalk to get checked in. Check in was easy and smooth and we were soon on the way to our room.
The room was gorgeous, I'd be very happy staying here again. Though I'm not sure I'd call what we had, a water view, I mean you could just about see water through the trees if you leaned over the balcony... But it was just 1 night after all.

Jenny's bag even matched the decor...

We called for the bags as soon as we were in the room but they took ages to come. When they did arrive we quickly got changed and headed down to the pool, sadly it was getting past the warmer part of the way by now but we did enjoy the swim.

Jen tried out the slide but I was worried about getting my hair wet and it takes hours to wash and dry, Jen went under at the end so I'm glad I didn't go lol. She didn't seem too sad though...

We did try out the hot tub too but my sunburn was burning when we tried. Jen got another cocktail at the bar and I got my resort mug filled before heading back up to the room to get changed.

Once we were changed we headed back to Epcot. We snacked on a few things round world showcase and Jen got more drinks. I then took a bit poorly but managed to make it to illuminations, though when it was on Jen disappeared to get more drinks.

Waiting for illuminations

The plan had been that we would go to jellyrolls after but I wasn't feeling it. My friend James was going to come too so he offered to take jenny and I would stay back at the room. He came up to meet us in our room and I gave him a talking to about looking after her as she was quite drunk and I was worried about her but he promised he would... They discussed going offsite to Orlando as James lives there and knows the best places to go but I found out the next day that they had just gone to jellyrolls.

I skyped Sy and then put my head down. I did find it hard to sleep cause I was worried about Jen but she is a grown woman so I needn't have worried really, I think I've kinda always worried about her through the years as she's a couple of years younger than me I've sort of adopted that role lol.
The sleep didn't last long though, I first woke up at 1:45am and Jen wasn't back. I tossed and turned for a bit before falling back to sleep... And then woke up at 4:45 but she still wasn't back. I tried calling her, texting, Facebook... All with no reply. I called and text James with no reply. I even asked on fb if anyone else had heard from her but no one had. As it was the was fine and she was in the boardwalk, but the last I heard was her and James talking about leaving disney and jen was a bit merry (read a lot merry), plus you know what it's like in the middle of the night, your mind goes into overdrive! I called Sy and he had spoken to her at 1:45am as he had been trying to get hold of me earlier in the evening but I hadn't seen my phone so then messaged her.

So as you can imagine I didn't sleep after that, in fact I got up and packed all of our things up ready for check out.....

Tomorrow, AK and HS.
