The Mac's Attack Disney Dining...AKA "I'm so full I can't even burp!".Completed 7/11!

The Ohana pictures with Stitch are so cute! I am going to have to try breakfast there as I love the Poly, Stitch, and good food!

We've eaten at several character buffets, and we like this one the best. The food is good, and it's just so much more relaxing! Have you had dinner at 'Ohana? Oh. My. Gosh. We ate so much there on our last trip, I thought they were going to have to roll us out the door. It was shameful, but they just kept bringing the food and it was all so good!!!

only DD will come now and she's taking a year long internship and won't be able to join me this year :sad1:. My brother, whom I so love, is taking her place (if he backs out, I'll kill him!!!) So I, too, can be available if you need a buddy! Enjoying your report & you've gone to many of the places I'm taking DB. Looking forward to more.

I'm hoping your brother doesn't back out!! Not sure how the judge and jury would rule your case...not everyone takes Disney trips as seriously as we do  When are you going?

Great reviews.
The pizza at WPE is wonderful isn't it

It really is wonderful :thumbsup2 I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza from a local pizza place last night for dinner. It was really good, but no food tastes as good as it does at Disney World ;)

9/4 thru 9/11. I haven't booked our flights yet but I can't hold out much longer - still hoping for lower fares!!! And DD has already warned her uncle about me & Disney. " Now Uncle Tom, just go where she tells you, when she tells you and you'll be fine - really - she knows what she's doing!"

And that Rosemary Chicken at WPE looks divine!! We have ressies at WPC the night we go to SW but I'm wondering whether we should just use CS instead. Then we could keep our Kona breakfast ressies - hop the Lynx bus at TTC to SW and then go to DTD afterwards (bus also stops there). Hmm, sounds like the makings of a plan!

I don't like chicken (or any other meat for that matter) on the bone. You are not strange. ;) I wanted to order the Pot Pie at the Wave in Dec 2008 but was put off when the waitress mentioned the bone. Ick! Thanks for the pic, I have always wondered what it looked like.

I've never eaten at WPC, but like I said, we really enjoy WPE. Plus they have waiters who actually bring the food to you, will get your drink refills, etc. so it's a pretty relaxing CS meal.

Maybe someone else could give you advice on WPC, but I would keep your ressie for Kona breakfast.

Ah, so I'm not the only one :thumbsup2 My DH thinks if one won't eaten meat on a bone, they shouldn't eat meat at all. The thought of eating a chicken leg or ribs completely grosses me out

Sounds like your daughter gives expert advice :goodvibes Tell Uncle Tom that I agree with your daughter :rotfl:

That's pretty much what the rest of my family does though. They wake up in the morning and ask where we're going, where we're eating, etc. They're literally just along for the ride :rolleyes1

and did enjoy it but, as you point out, WPE is like a TS for the price of a CS. By going there instead of the Cafe, it frees up a TS to have breakfast at Kona. I think a big breakfast & a great dinner will allow us to tour SW without spending a lot on food there (can you tell I'm cheap?!?!)

:thumbsup2lovin' your reviews...great pics, too (cute kiddos, fer sure.)

And I know exactly what you mean about not liking "fishy" fish...me, too! I'll eat tilapia, cod, crab, shrimp & lobster. And that's about it. Everything else tastes too fishy, lol. Rest of my family (at least the ones who like fish) have no problem with "fishy" fish, it's just me. But you are not alone:thumbsup2

 :sad2: I'm so frustrated!!! I wrote a review yesterday, downloaded pics, the whole nine yards, then my internet died on me :scared1: So much work, wasted. Anyway, I'll get to it later, but my internet is awful. If anyone is considering getting Hughes Net (satellite), run in the other direction! We live out in the country, so it's either Hughes Net, or dial up. Just can't go back to dial up.

Anyway, I'll finish up when I have more time. :surfweb:

Here's what you have to look forward to though:

Goofy's Candy Co
WPE (again)
Narcoosee's
Sunshine Season's
Chef's De France
50's Prime Time Cafe
Boma

See ya soon :yay:

Yay!!!! Another disliker of fishy fish!!!! I'll have to inform DH that I'm not the only one out there ;) Perhaps I'm not so weird after all :)

If you were cheap, you wouldn't be going to Disney  A very wise woman once told me, "cheap is good, but free is better". Maybe one day we'll make it over for free dining :thumbsup2

When the whole family went in 2006, we got the ORIGINAL free dining discount ($1900 in free food!), spent a day in US/IOA "free" with leftover tickets from a trip in 1999 AND had coupons from the Entertainment book for a free lunch for each of us at Margaritaville on Citywalk. DH spent the whole week saying, "Are you sure we don't have to pay for this?? Took me 3 days to convince him not to pay for snacks!
