The LUCKY Muffin Spoke to Me - Halloween at WDW & Summer 2011 at DLR - 01/09/11

I'm going to see if I can find one that is a bit more clear!

Haha; welcome back, again! :goodvibes

My parents have the one real tree every year! I want to have at least one real one once we get our own place, but didn't want to have anything real in our apartment. I love the real trees though; it's not Christmas without the pine scent in the house!

Okeydokey :) The only thing I can think it might be is one of the signs in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, but I really can't tell because it's really blurry. Maybe it's just this monitor :confused3 I'm working on my parents' computer trying to get it to not be so slow :lmao:

I totally agree about the scent of pine, though! At our house, it's pumpkin, cookies, and pine trees. We always have a real tree, and usually bring one down from our land in Wisconsin :) I have a little Mickey tree. It's about a foot tall and has its ornaments permanently attached :teeth:

Ok, I tried to mess with it a bit to make it easier to see - hopefully it worked!

Mmmm; cookies, too! Definitely agree!

I bet the fresh cut trees that you have are gorgeous!

It helped, I'm just not sure where it is :lmao: I'm going to stick with my Norway guess, though :) Just not sure where :rotfl:

My mom and I both bake, although I'm a better baker than she is (she's a better cook than I am), so our house always smells like cookies or pie or fudge around the holidays :)

Weeeell... Sometimes they are, and sometimes they aren't. Our trees usually don't look like the ones you get at a Christmas tree farm, but once they're covered in ornaments and lights, they don't look too bad. Last year's was like a giant Charlie Brown tree.

Oddly enough, we also have a licensed Charlie Brown tree that we found at Aldi!

I have the same relationship with DH in the kitchen! He's a better cook and I'm a better baker; he tried to make a homemade red velvet cake for his mom's birthday one year and O.M.G.! I have no idea what he did to it, but the next morning when he pulled it out of the fridge, it smelled like spoiled milk and rotten eggs. It was terrible! Since then, he won't go near my baking supplies and I let him stick to the cooking.

Haha; too cute! I think I saw the same Charlie Brown tree last year; they had them at Garden Ridge here.

BTW, for anyone still guessing over the first hint, it isn't Norway. I'll post another picture later tonight for another hint if no one can put the news together from my one (confusing; I'd never guess it :rolleyes1) photo!

:lmao: That's too bad about your DH's cake for his mom :teeth: Funny, though :) I made this bathtub cake for my niece's first birthday, and it fell apart because I was in too much of a rush to let it cool down completely before frosting it. I was also using that frosting in a can, which is almost always difficult to spread. I hate that stuff :headache: I don't use it anymore. What's your favorite recipe to make?

:guilty: I knew it wasn't Norway :(

My mom has a banana cream pie that I really like to make; or, I've got this cake that is really simple but tastes like a banana split. It's so good! What about you??

It's OK! My hint is pretty out there; I think we'll have a few more to go, at least! I'm just so excited about it that I don't want to just blurt it out. ;)

I have this chocolate and peanut butter cake that tastes like a giant, super-rich Reese cup :teeth: It's soooo good :) I also like to make fudge. I plan on experimenting with flavors this year.

:lmao: Okeday :)

Would you share your cake recipe with me? That's DH's favorite candy, and I've been trying to find a good recipe!

I have some fun news that I'd like to turn in to a game to pass a little WDW-waiting time!

I'll post pictures as hints until someone can put all of the clues together to figure out the entire news! Please do not edit your posts; just one guess per person, per hint. The Fairy Godmother might just send a special surprise to the winner for playing along with my (beyond excited) antics!

(Btw, JONI - you can't play since you would get this right off the bat because we talked about it over the weekend! :lovestruc)

Picture Hint No. 1:

Umm..I'm looking at it on my phone and it looks like it says "Semper Restroom" which obviously makes no sense :rotfl2: I clueless but I'm intrigued!

Hahaha; too funny. I actually have no idea what it says, to be quite honest. :lmao:

I'm going to post another picture when I get home tonight!

The white banner on the bottom on the left definitely says "Semper" I just don't know what the other one says! I'll be here waiting for the next clue!

I know, I know! :hyper: I promise I won't tell!

I'm sorry I missed chatting today! If you get back on tonight text me and I will get on so we can talk!!

Okay, I'm a bum and I haven't mailed your special surprise that I am very excited about yet, but I am mailing it tomorrow for sure!

Sooo...I got an email that said Brad commented on your post you made on my FB, but now it's gone. But I saw it in the email and he said that you and I are dorks! I cracked up! Tell him I proudly wave my dork flag! :rotfl:

Hi Heather!!! I saw your link on my TR and I needed to come see yours :)

I read where you said your DH made a red velvet cake and the next day it smelt like rotten eggs and bad milk... lol! That's so horrible, I'm so sorry!! But it made me laugh !!! :) Sounds like something my DH would do for sure!!

As to your picture.......... you have me completely stumped!!

I have the same problem...as your husband! I can't bake OR cook anything though! I don't know what it is. One time I tried to make chocolate chip cookies for my boyfriend's dad and I don't know what happened but it came out looking like cookie soup. :confused3 i just let my boyfriend do the cooking. he's amazing in the kitchen! he's making me baked ziti right now :goodvibes

P.S. your clue has me stumped...I will wait for the next hint!

I definitely have those days, so don't worry!! :rotfl:

I'll be online all day again tomorrow until about 4:00pm; Brad is going to be able to pick me up from work to take me to my appointment, which isn't until 4:30pm. Hopefully we can chat tomorrow!! If I don't see you online by lunch time, then I'll definitely email you back!

Haha; it was really funny. He took it to his parent's house too before he realized it was rank. Poor DH. I'm glad it gave you a laugh. :lmao:

Hahaha; cookie soup sounds pretty good; put some ice cream on it with some syrup, and you could just say it was intentional! Maybe you made a break through with desserts!

Here's my trickster Hint 2! DH and I had a good time trying to figure out what to pick! Let's see if anyone has an easier time this go-around!

(BTW, just to reiterate, all of these clues tie together in to one big, "awesomness." You can all thank DH for that fantastic word!)

Hint2.jpg

I only got to post two pictures, unfortunately! DH and I had sat down last night and come up with another one to put up this morning! It's too cute not to share and even though someone already guessed correctly, I still had to post it! (It's still applicable because I'm most definitely walking around with a smile this big on my face!)

Hint31.jpg

Here are the picture answers:
1. The symbol over the entrace to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
2. The seagulls outside the Nemo ride
3. A car from the Roger Rabbit ride

Sooo, drumroll please....!!!!

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!! :dance3::worship::dance3::worship:

I've messaged the Mods to see if I can just include those plans in this PTR, or if I need to start one over on the DLR boards. I am hoping to just include everything here, but will let everyone know if I end up starting another PTR!

But really, I've been dancing and grinning from ear to ear since yesterday morning, and my co-workers just don't get it. So I'm beyond excited to share the news here!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
