LIVE TR STARTS ON SEPT. 24!!!!!! Stay tuned for updates and check out my blog for pictures!

Hello hello! And welcome to my trip report. I can't promise fancy or witty writing, but what I can promise is an hour by hour live trip report with LOTS of pictures! All you have to do is click on the link to my blog where I will post live from my fancy pants new cell phone, the Instinct! I will also try to jump on here off and on to answer questions! Aren't I a helpful DISer?
Meet the cast of characters!
Me (Tia a.k.a The Lover) - The wife, mom and care taker. Uber planner and self proclaimed Disney FU-REAK!.
Husband (Terry a.k.a. The Hater) - The exact opposite of me. When they say opposites attract, they were talking about us. Terry is a go with the flow kind of guy. More of a Warner Brothers fan (I know I know.. GAG).
Son (Ryan a.k.a. The Gimp) - Our sweet 10 year old son who love Disney ALMOST as much as I do. There is still time to groom him though.
Friend (Chandler a.k.a. The Noob) - Ryan's BFF and virgin to Disney World! At least he is with me so I can break him in proper like.

The 411:
So... my husband was deployed for 2 years. And during that time Ryan and I went to WDW twice. On our last trip they offered Bounce Back and Terry happened to call while we were there and I told him about it and he said to go ahead and book the trip! I about fell out of my chair. He is NOT a Disney fan and thinks my addiction is a bit on the odd side. Which is ok with me. There are lots of worse things I could be addicted to! ;) He said he wanted to experience it with us. (again another fall out of the chair moment) So I booked the trip along with my other Disney Freak friend Lori. She and I met here more than 2 years ago and became fast friends. She and her son Austin traveled with us last Sept. So we thought it would be ultra fun for us to all go together! The more the merrier and all that jazz. So the trip planning begins. Fast forward to 2 months ago. Lori finds out her husband is now being deployed and is set to leave while we were going to be at the World. So they have to cancel. I was very sad about this. We have so much fun together but I understand having just gone through it myself. So the wheels start a turning and I come up with the brilliant idea to invite Ryan's best friend, Chandler! I admit, it was as much for Terry and I as it was for Ryan. I am selfish, but admitting there is a problem is the first step towards recovery. Chandler's Mom jumps on board and we are off to the races right? WRONG!!!

Stay tuned for the next installment....

:yay: I finally got to be the first to post after a TR.:yay:
Sorry to hear your friend couldn't make it.
Waiting to read on.

So our darling, sweet, little guy decided that climbing a tree would be TONS of fun. ;)
SIDEBAR - Ryan is not the most coordinated of all kids. (he TOTALLY gets that from me) and we have talked about his lack of skills in the tree climbing department before.
BUT boys will be boys and he thought he would give it the old college try once more. Needless to say the story does not end with a successful climb. Yup... he fell out of the darn tree. He landed with all of this weight on his left foot. His foot instantly became purple and swollen so off to the ER we go. After some x-rays the doc says he has at least 3 broken bones. :sad2: Next day we make an appt. with the Otho doc and he is casted for 4 - 6 weeks! I asked him very nicely if he could wait next time until AFTER we get back from vacation to break something. He laughed at me.... but I was oh-so serious! ;)

Oh no, one of my kids breaking something or getting sick was one of my worst fears before our trip. I am so sorry this happened. Can't wait to hear how it all turned out. :)

My DH just got back from a deployment. Big hugs to you & your family. Those hubbies sure act weird when they aren't w/ us (I love you, you are beautiful, let's all go to Disney together). LOL Even bigger hugs for your friend. Deployments just suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at the bright side, he is looking forward to not having to walk anywhere, maybe some special interaction with characters, and great parade spots! He is being a trooper for sure. I commend him for finding the positives. He try to walk with his boot on but it kills his foot! So we will do the wheelchair and everything will be ok. He said he would rather be at Disney with a broken foot than not go to Disney at all!!

HUGS to you guys!!! Terry might be going again next year. Possibly as soon as April, so we are making the most of every moment ya know? And yes, they do get a little strange. :rotfl: Well, my husband is always strange, but he was stranger than normal. ;)

hi my DD broke her foot in 2006 and we pushed her in a Wheelchair. We got on the rides 1st because of her not able to walk through the lines/. but we had a wonderful time!!

oh and Thank you to your DH for defending us!!:cutie: We so appreciate our servicemen!!

I am positive we will have a great time! I think it will be a ton of fun!!!

And thanks for the thanks! I am pretty darn proud of him too. :goodvibes

So we decided to go ahead and keep our plan of renting a car. For me, I like the freedom it brings. I did the bus thing 2 years ago and it was ok, except for leaving at night. I hated being squished in those busses!

So I snagged a SUV from national for 11 days for just over $200! :dance3: This made me very happy. Now we can fit everything and everyone in there comfortably. I could have had a mini van for a little more, but my husband and I are anti mini van people! I know it is silly, but we just don't care for them. Even though when I ride in them I am soooo comfortable. It's a weird quirk we have. :confused3

TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it is really here. (finally!)

Bags are pretty much packed. PassPorter is loaded and ready to go. Epcot passports are made. All reservations are confirmed. This time tomorrow night we should be arriving at POP!

Be checking my blog for updated pictures. I will post throughout the trip. I will also be here to answer any questions you might have!

Looks like we have a small group, so hopefully that will make it easier to keep up. :)

When you get back, would you mind posting pics of the Epcot passports u made? I'd love to see them. Thanks. Have a great trip.

I AM TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP!!!!

Didn't fall alsleep until after 1 then was up at 6. Everyone is else is blissfully asleep still ... cept me!

This time tomorrow we will be at the Magic Kingdom! :yay: Even though it is not on my best days list, I HAVE to see the castle first. It's just a weird thing about me. Plus we have an ADR at CRT for lunch. THAT should be interesting with 3 boys and me. I figure they can suck it up though. I am so selfish... I even scheduled time to go see Beauty and the Beast at DHS! Bad bad mommy. ;)

Sure! I got the basic deisgn off of the creative boards here. But tweeked them a bit.

:dance3: Alright...alright. (anyone know what movie that is from???)

Hope you have a great trip! Thank your DH from me and give him a big hug for his service to our country.

We are here and life is grand!!! The flight was great! I am surprised at how chilly it is though. We left 100 degree temps and as I write this I feel cold! We will see what the days feel like. Everyone is asleep except me. I have to play super tour guide and I am running on literally no sleep. My plan is have a nice morning at the Mk and then head back to Pop and sleep for a few hours before dinner at DHS. We'll see!!!

I hope the weather warms up for you!

I'm glad to hear you're having a great time, but you need to get some sleep!
