The lottery- Ilford is the luckiest place to live..

....... I heard a report on the radio this morning and Camelot have announced that Ilford is the luckiest place to live, with 22 winners since the lottery began - that's 1 to every 9,000 Ilford residents.

So it's all round to your place then Sam ...... we've nearly finished packing and we'll be round in a couple of hours

I bet they havent checked out the statistics for Wyverstone!

I have won 5 times since we have moved here - admittedly only £10 a time, but in 25 weeks I think that is fairly good odds! I do 2 lines so not a massive outlay - and winning £50 I have broke even!

My mum however does the Irish Lottery - it is something my Dad always did, he loved a little bet each week, and started doing the Irish Lottery when it started here - and since Dad died, Mum has kept it up. Mind you, I am the one that has to go into the Betting Shop to do it, which I hate!!!!! Anyway - she does 3 Numbers and places a 50p bet for both draws on Saturday and Wednesday - so her outlay is £2 a week. She has won three times since last July but the odds are much, much better than the Lotto - she won £420 first time, £210 the second time, and £420 again two weeks ago. That is £1050 in 16 months ~ so she is £922 up on her stake!

I think I'll give Ilford a miss and stay in Suffolk! LOL

Well I cant believe this - I've just checked the numbers for this week and I've won another £10 and so has my mum won £10!

We do different numbers - she had three, and I had three!

Unbelievable.



But good! LOL
