Evening losers,

Had a particularly loserish evening.

The twins' roller skating party was tonight.

Yep. That's right. Twins on roller skates. Mom ONLY. First time rollerskating. Twins used mom to grab on every time they took a fall.

My back hurts.... Kellie, do you have any of those happy pills left? I'm gonna need em tonight...

Evening Losers.

I spent the day at Scottish Rite. DS6 had another seizure this morning... the first since he went on anti-convulsive meds in January. Lots of waiting and many tests later, they have determined that he has had a growth spurt in the past month and his meds weren't keeping up. They gave him a booster dose and upped his prescription and we are finally back home.

I haven't decided if I will send him to school tomorrow or not. Spring Break starts on Friday, so tomorrow is that last day of school for over a week. We'll see how things go in the morning.

Oh Tricia you must have been freaking out. I hope things get better for him. I think he deserves a day off.

I'll be praying for you and him.

::yes::
ETA: Cool. I just heard the sonic booms of the shuttle coming back in.
My DH and son would be soooooo jealous! They've always wanted to catch a launch/return of the shuttle. Last summer it spent the night here in NE as it was flown back to FL and they went to see it. I can't believe DH never made it down there for a launch when we lived in GA. We made it to KSC--DD threw the HUGEST tantrum there (she was 2)-- but that was it.

I still have some of those happy pills from last summer when I took a baseball bat to the face. Want me to send some your way?

:hug: for you all. I say keep him home. I bet you'll just worry all day if you send him:flower3:

I just decided that the thing about having older kids is you can't put them to bed at 7:30. I miss those days. Lights were out for DS at 9:30 and I told DD to turn hers out but she is almost done with her book and I'll bet it's still on--I don't feel like yelling at her tonight. She's 14 so she'll have to face the consequences tomorrow morning when I wake her. I took some benadryl so I'll be ready to sleep very soon.

My DD forged my signature on her homework. OMG!! I think she might not see 8. Her birthday is tomorrow.....

Hey, it's my sons birthday tomorrow too! He'll be 7 - so far he will make it a little longer around here, but ya never know :rolleyes:

DDM - I think the first time I forged my mom's signature was in 5th grade. It was for the practice sheet for clarinet. I didn't practice, so I just signed her name to it.

Come to think of it I have 2 Mrs. Smith's pies in my freezer. Ah, I'll need to wait and get rid of Easter Candy, Girl Scout Cookies, and I've been wanting to bake cookies for a few days. I'll have to get rid of them first.

I too would love a drink. I can tell you the exact date of the last one I had...it was two days before I peed on a stick Nov 2nd.

Kellie - good to see you up and about. :thumbsup2

Tonight I was cleaning and found 10 BAGS OF HERSHEYS CHOCOLATES :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I knew I had candy but I didn't think I HAD CANDY!!!!

I'm going to make dinner. I have some pork chops thawed, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with them, or what I'm having with them. We've had takeout the last two nights because I was sick (and nobody else cooks), so I really want real food tonight.

Sigh.

Off to the kitchen I go.

Why pork chops and applesauce of course :thumbsup2

::yes::

ETA: Cool. I just heard the sonic booms of the shuttle coming back in.

Sorry, that was DH, we had burritos for dinner :eek:

And here is my winner moment for the week....DS's birthday is tomorrow/today (March 27) and he is into sports big time - mostly football/baseball and Patriots/Red Sox....I am not a cake decorator like someone else here who makes better cakes than the stores :flower3: but here is what we ended up with:

I do have the happy pills. I know call them my BFF :rotfl2: John has left to do some errands and I feel like a kid being left alone for the first time. He went over a list of what I can and cannot do:rotfl2:

How is our dis baby doing? Is she kicking up a strom?
Heck with all the snacks you have at your house I may need to come over and help you eat some of them.

You come right over, put your feet up and we'll take care of you. Miss Joelle is doing great. She moves around a lot especially after meals. I'm eating my breakfast now, so I should start feeling her at any time. She also likes to roll around when I'm trying to lay down to sleep. That'll be fun when she's bigger.

I even have a pug that loves to cuddle and can tell when you're not feeling well, she's extra lovey.
