Thats_for_Shore, maybe I've asked you this before, but where do you live? My daughter is finishing up her last semester at Salisbury.

I'm south of Cambridge, down in Hoopers Island. It's beautiful here. Lots of nature, lots of water, not much noise. Very peaceful.

It's a shame the Tag Fairy doesn't visit our thread. We have some gems on here.

Man...I wanna go to Ocean City. Last time I was there it was only to pick up some taffy for my dad's office. Spent a week camping on the beach on Assateague though. That was nice...clean beach, hardly anyone there. But once you got past the dunes going inland...mosquitos galore. Oh man the mosquitos were terrible.

Yeah, I have mosquitos out the wazoo where I live. I'm only about a quarter to a half mile to the bay and even closer to a creek that feeds it. We have so many mosquitos her in the summer I an get ten bites walking to the car.

Well, since this is a staple in my daily life, there would have to be a LOSER thread. Even if I myself had to take the time to hit the New Thread button or whatever it is.

Slo did a poll about clique threads, asking if people belong to them or not. So I posted some really nice stuff about us. About how fun and entertaining we are. Maybe we'll get some new LOSER friends out of it!!

Ok so I saw your reply to that and thought I might could join. You also told me to post over here after you read that I made DS5 wear his sister's pink and brown coat to the YMCA.

So should I tell you I don't care about grammar. I like to use lots of commas, I like to type like I talk. I don't fold the laundry until I have a mountain. I don't scrapbook ever. My sister owned a scrapbook store too. I don't take pictures of my kids because I always think I will remember but I don't. I don't have birthday parties for my kids because they are too much work. Do I qualify to be a LOSER?

I love where I live. I'm close to everything, but not in the middle of anything. I'm ten minutes from downtown Annapolis, three minutes from the Bay Bridge, fourty minutes from DC, fourty minutes from Baltimore. I can be in New York (if I wanted to) within about 3 and a half hours by train.

The only time I don't love where I live is when I'm trying to get home on a Friday afternoon in the summer....horrible traffic.

Hi Losers and New Losers. I'm having a crappy Loser day. This whole tax rebate thing is going to end up with DH and I getting a divorce(just kidding I hope). I assumed since it is money we weren't counting on having it was a perfect excuse to go back to WDW this year. Well...I got an earful this morning for assuming anything of the sort and was told, rather emphatically, that he didn't see us going back for about 5 years. He thinks a vacation of camping at a state park nearby will be good enough to make me happy. Well, sorry sweetie but I was a wildland firefighter for almost 15 years and have slept on the ground way too many times to recall in my lifetime and going camping is fun but is not going to replace a "real" vacation in my book. Things are going to be awfully uncomfortable around here the next day or so.
And to think I started out this morning with grand plans of cleaning and cooking all day. You can imagine how that went.

Well didn't get half of what I wanted to get down while the twosome were at daycare, but I have to brag (I know it's wrong) about being able to run thru the grocery store to get about 20 things with in 15 minutes. Was nice to not hear "Mommy can we get a lunchable" the whole time I was there.
I decided that instead of waiting till tomorrow morning, I'm taking #1DS to sign up for baseball tonight. I'm already dressed so why not do it today, get it over with and be able to lounge around all day tomorrow in my pj's Shoot I might let the LOSER in me talk me into swinging by some drive thrus for dinner tonight. Kids have been bugging me to get them burger king. I did find out that we are getting alittle more than expected for our returns this year (the only reason to be happy about DH having been deployed, untaxable income = paying off truck ) so maybe I'll let LOSER twist my arm. Now I just have to decide if I want (since I have to drive by both places) Chinese or Taco Bell.

I'm not sure why people settled here. I wonder that a lot. We are close to nothing. The weather is all kinds of crazy. Seriously, if my husband would have stopped here 125 years ago I would have said, "You're nuts. I'm going back to Momma. Let me know how it works out for you."

We moved here because of DH's job. Sometimes, I wonder WTH we were thinkin'. I went to a meeting last night and it was -15. When did it become acceptable to live in that?!
