In an effort not to have my cover blown by enquiring posters, I may need to exit this thread....:rolleyes1

No dont go we promise to be good:goodvibes

I think this is the problem for you on your other thread though, as to why people think you are a guy. We do immediately get the James Bond thing in our head.

Very cool, interesting, mysterious etc. But hey we are all nosey, but please please dont go, we must all stick together!

Who else is going to share her liquor filled chocolates, cocktails and TP field trips with us:banana:

You would have been great on "Let's Make a Deal" at the end when he would say "If you can give me a canceled stamp from England, I'll give you $400"

sigh is she even old enough to know what "Let's Make a Deal" is?

Proof that I am not a guy (well, maybe not proof!) the Pierce Brosnan version of James Bond makes me melt.....

No matter where I go on the internet (and in real life) I seem to be known for chocolate!!! and now TP! :rotfl:

They're the high waisted jeans that hide my "mom pouch". They also have a tapered leg and a little stretch in them. I'm a walking fashion don't.

Bomb...you have my sincere apologies that I have posted such terrible things here. Have an extra drink on me (right before scouts would be a good time)

I am trying not to cry.;)

I saw that show on game network last week. Those were some "retro" cars they were giving away.

Hello to all my fellow losers
DD is back at college. She forgot to bring back her pillows, boots, and towels. So DH took her to the store and brought her those plus other things she wanted. She did not need just wanted. And yes the bank of mom and dad is open on Sundays.
Now the cat is all sad that she left. He is on her bed crying. He will do this for the next 3 days.

I have a friend that live in Germany that always sends me Cholate with booze in them. They are so good.

I will admit that I ate half a box of Mon Cheri last night with cherry liquer...mmmmm

and as I proved while on vacation in Bavaria recently, one can become more than a little tipsy if one overindulges in liquer filled chocolate :rolleyes1

The two things I miss about Germany are the chocolates and the cookies. Around Christmas we used to go to Nuremberg and get the tins filled with lebkuchen...at least I think that is how they are spelled. My mom collected the tins. You can sometimes get the tins in the US at the commissary on base but they are over $100. My favorite chocolates were the Mozart Kugel with the marzipan and pistachio filling. God I miss those. Again you can get them here but they are so darned expensive.

oooh! the Lindt stores in the US sell Mozartkugeln. Not quite as good as my favourite (Bavarian) Reber (which I like better than the Mirabel) but quite good! And often on sale!!

We have so many of the Schmidt Lebkuchen treasure chests. There are tiny storefronts around Bavaria during Christmas season where one can mail order or purchase them, but nothing beats going to Nürnberg around Christmas season to visit the market and the original shop...

If this thread is still around next year I can arrange delivery! (assuming that I am still around - if not, Flossbolna and Marcus.ka are the other two Bavarian posters here, and both live in Nürnberg
)

thats how I spent a day at work once. He gave them to me and I had no Idea what they where. He told me they where chocolate covered cherries. My boss asked me why he smelled booze on me after lunch.:lmao: I gave him one. He that we gave him a shot of whiskey. :rotfl2: good stuff

Okay, I thikn I have been dising too much this afternoon, time to take a break.

I am seeing spots and can't see part of the words I am typing, so I apologize for an errors:rotfl2:

Off to watch some Tv...:happytv:

No Lindt stores around here. I can get them at Cost Plus but they cost an arm and a leg. So they are usually a treat just for the holidays since they tend to go on sale around Christmas. But oh how I love marzipan covered in dark chocolate. It makes my mouth water.

We trade things with our friends in Germany. They love some of our things here and we love some of there things. So we just trade list and it works out pretty good.

It's been around 19 years since I have lived in Germany so we no longer have any contacts over there.

thats to bad. They have some great things. Hubby loves the cigars. We got a tin of these amazing cookies this year from them for Christmas. I had to hide the rest of them. They are so good

Hey, I did something constructive today!!

I fixed my ticker! I was going to WDW on Feb 4, but we postponed it til Feb 10, but I was too lazy to fix the ticker.

I thought, ah, just add six days to whatever the ticker says.

But today, for whatever reason, I got tired of looking at the wrong countdown number, so I changed it!!

Hooray for me!

Wow, I must be a real ditz. I thought I posted something here, but I must have put it on a different thread...???

Um, I'm guessing that whatever thread it's on, those people are going to be really confused.
