I am going to go to urgent care this afternoon. There is one right across the street from my apartment. Can you believe that I have a sister who drinks all those fancy sports drinks and enhanced waters but I could not find one bottle of it in the house last night? All I wanted was some Gatorade since it has potassium in it. Shoulda called my lazy brother and had him bring me some.

Here is another question...given my symptoms should I go to urgent care or the ER? I have no clue what the copay for an ER visit will be. I know urgent care is only $15. So what do you all think?

Ugh I have to do some cleaning around the house today
The clean clothes are now all folded but still in the baskets. Maybe I'll just drag them to my bedroom so they are out of the living room, then it will look cleaner in here
Gonna have to head out to Walmart after school today, going thru withdrawls I don't think I have been there since the 2nd week of Jan. I was trying to hold off till the one in town finally opened (begining of March) but I forgot about Valentine's Day.
So we will be going to get #1DS his Valentine's cards for his class (I need to remember where I put the list with all his classmates names on it), Valentine gifts and cards for the kids & since DH is out of town, something for me too, new socks for the twosome, and some more hair color for me cause I'm tired of staring at the white hairs on the top of my head I'm too young to have grey hairs.
Oh I might have to walk by the freezer section to pick up a pie now, thanks to It's a Happy Day showing the picture I want one now. There goes my diet.

Well I had my good mommy moment and a bad mommy moment. It was going well I had my act together, camera was ready to go up and take the rest of the pictures at DS10's school, Oinky is clean and ready to go back to school, I have my tutiton check for preschool to hand in (only 7 days late but they dont care). So I pull up and dont you know it is Show and Tell Day at preschool, ah shoot, bring in something they love (maybe I should of parked the car and said here I am) but they said no problem, he can do it Monday, and luckily DS5 said he didnt want to do it So he has to get up and talk about the pig anyway, no way the kid is going to want to get up twice!

I hate Mommy brain!

At least at the urgent care I can walk across the street to get home.

I know all about ERs. Back in the summer of 06 I was taking out some trash and the screen door closed across the back of my foot. I went inside, screamed and passed out. Came too in a chair with my dad and brother elevating my foot and trying to put a bandage on it. Then my dad drove me to the closest ER for stitches. Just my luck it was an ER for a different health ins company that mine.

But they took all insurances so I gave them my card at check in...and all the while no one cared that I was white as a sheet and in mild shock. And was told my insurance was inactive. I could have cried. It knew it was good...the premiums came from my paycheck. But they said they would bill my insurance. We won't get into the low quality of care at that hospital. The next day I went to urgent care for my hospital and got treated again.

Not a week later I was getting bills from COLLECTION companies. Called my insurance to find out that the other hospital had submitted the bills to them as well. They were trying to get us to pay twice. I don't think so. My insurance was great about it and paid everything. Which is one of the reasons I want to go back to them.

Well, I have an interesting peepee story this morning too.

Of course, with so much going on, trying to get everything ready before we leave, the last thing I need is more crap to do.

Well, apparently DS3 got mad at DS8 first thing this morning, and HE PEE'D IN HIS BROTHERS DRESSER DRAWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happened while I was oversleeping. DS8 was late to school this morning. And now I'm trying to get stuff washed and dried before I leave, because I'd hate to leave pee'd on clothes laying around the house for a week and a half while I'm gone.

I'm also feeling very sad, because I know this LOSER thread will reach 250 pages before I get back and get shut down. I know there will be a new, improved LOSER thread when I get back, but still, it makes me sad to think this thread will be closed.

A couple of homeschoolers are jumping on me..well, it's not that bad..and some others have struck up and supported me. Again..nothing against homeschoolers, if that's what anyone does..but these two are just a little on the arrogant side, makes me wonder if they are trying to imply my kids aren't as smart just because they LOVE to do things other than go to school or be taught something formally. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD...it's a vacation, not a one week crash course..

I can't say anything more over there or I'm gonna tick someone off. Maybe I should shut up here, too..

Has anyone ever washed their crocs in the washing machine? They are Mammoths, so I definitely need to toss the liners in..I hate dog poop.

I posted over on the Budget Board about switching my health insurance to my own policy instead of the company one. I put in all the information I have including deductibles and premiums and my experiences with my current company and I think I am being ignored or something. It's like no one noticed my little thread. Makes me kinda sad.

I'm off to wash ONE pair of dog poopy (had to go back and add dog..didn't want anyone to think it was from me..) jeans..all by themselves. I don't care if it is wasteful, I don't want anything else in there with the poop.. I may wash them twice..ewwww
