The longstaff Family and free dining trip report day 9

After last nights rain we wake up to a lovely sunny day and today we are off to universal.......god knows why i scheduled this for a weekend

we arrived at US at 8.45am and took a few pics...you know the one !

Our 1st ride was shrek 4d and it was a walk on I loved this show and so did the kids we met shrek and donkey later in the day.
After that we rode Jaws (dh loves this film and had been wittering on about the ride all bloomin week !!)

we then headed for men in black and had a problem after the ride when the fingerprint locker wouldn't open.....it always happens to dh !! security had to open it

then it was time for mu favourite ride of the day E.T... i loved it ! i nearly cried at the end

i saw some lovely dora purses in the shop and i had to get two for the little girls i look after who are dora mad ! but then of course i ended up having to buy something for everyone i childmind ( drove us all mad by the end of the holiday trying to pick what to get)

we then queued for ages for the jimmy neutron ride and i started to feel a bit sick in the heat so i wasn't keen on this ride.....i was also dissapointed by twister and earthquake
i loved terminator tho

I decided then it might be a good idea to swith over to IOA bad move ! it was really busy and we only rode jurrasic park before deciding to head back to pop.

Tonights meal was at wolfgang pucks....when we arrived they had a water skiing competition on the lake but i couldn't see much

I had the calamari for starters ...it was huge

DH had Barbecue Chicken Quesadilla

for our main courses i had Meatloaf

Dh had Macadamia Nut Crusted Breast of Chicken

and finally for dessert we had these scrumptious offerings

tomorrow its shopping day and the hunt for heeley's !!

so want to go to Wolfgang puck cafe. Have only been to the dining room but will live in hope

Gosh Nat, looks like we had almost the same food at WPC you did - we must share impeccable taste

What a great day - you did my favourite rides at Univeral - Shek 4D always makes me have hysterics and I LOVE Men In Black. DH always beats me though (you'd think he'd value his life more really )
