Today was another lovely and sunny one , we were up early as we had an ADR at Akerhus for the princess storybook breakfast at 8.30am. Ellie and Matthew had their pictures taken with Belle on the way in....we didn't buy the official shot because it wasn't very good ! mine was better
we havn't been here since they changed it to a part buffet but i have to say we enjoyed it just as much.
After breakfast we headed straight to soarin and got lucky with a front row seat ! we also rode test track and got a fastpass for later, DS loved test track so much more this time around (speed freak)
we waited ages in the character conection to get some pics but it was well worth it as we got some fantastic photos
we had a good wander around the shops and spent loads of money in mousegear....we got some great new bowls for jarvis (its great being able to have it all shipped back to pop as well)
After the shops we had a look around the world showcase before heading to the Rose and Crown for the dis meet
We bagged a few tables and waited with a drink for people to Arrive
At this point i want to say a huge thanks to Claire and Mike, Paula, Lora, Vernon, Ruth and Paul and Louise Mark and her two boys Adam and Zac for taking the time to come along it was so nice to be able to meet people and see what they look like !!
we spent a fabulous 3hrs nattering away about all things disney with only a brief interuption for a rain shower
Mine and Louise's kids did well to put up with us for as long as they did but eventually hunger got the better of mine and we headed away to feed them !!
After a quick meal we rode test track again !! before heading over to the yacht club marina for the Illuminations cruise
I had managed to keep this a surprise from dh until this point and i eventually told him what was going on when we got the boat from the international gateway !
Claire and Mike were sharing the cruise with us as well so we met up with them and then boarded the boat
The cruise was a fantastic experience and well worth the effort,Claire and Mike were great with the kids and it was lovely to share it with them. I didn't take any pictures from the boat i was to busy watching the fireworks
Tomorrow a rest day (luckily)
