The local Catholic bishop is retiring

He was the bishop the whole time I was growing up. I can't imagine the Richmond area without him as the bishop. I also wonder who his replacement is going to be.

It's a long process. The bishop here in NW Ohio died a few months ago and it may be another year before another one is appointed--and chances are almost nil it will be a local guy.
