Sorry I have taken a little time to getting around to updating, Hallie. (And anyone else who may happen to stop by) Only 2 days to go and I am so excited! Reasons? Well, I finished a grad school assignment that was hanging over my head today and now I have nothing due for 2 weeks! Also, Veronica's first dance performance is tomorrow evening right before we leave. You want to see the costume? Oh, I am so glad you asked...

I fully believe that she might cry for the whole performance, but who knows?
So, I ordered some Disney singalong dvds for V to give her some idea of how big the characters are and they are so neat. They have scenes from rides at Disneyland and stuff. My predictions based on the dvds? She will love Jungle Cruise and meeting Donald Duck. We'll see.
And, her Bo Peep costume is complete and ready to go. My mom did a fabulous job. Here is a peak, though I promise to have better pictures when we get back.

Another supercool thing- a CM from the boards found out that we are going down without my husband because he is Iraq and that we had to cancel our initial trip etc and has obtained 10 fastpasses for us. I am so grateful, I can't even express it. So those who question whether there are still CMs like there "used to be" ... absolutely.
I am in the middle of packing. Well, not so much packing as piling. The bed in my spare room has various piles of clean clothes that I have laundered throughout the week as well as sunscreen, our "Guide to the Magic" and some other stuff. Have to do my grocery stop tomorrow for Veronica's necessities like apple juice and rice krispie treats. Almost there!

I'm so glad I found your PTR just in time! Veronica is soooo adorable, and I can't wait to hear how your trip went!

We're planning DDs first trip for April 2011. She'll turn 2 in February, but she was born four months early, at 1 lb 2 oz, and is really small for her age. It will be fun to see what your DD liked best, and what rides/attractions were the most fun for her. We've been trying to introduce our DD, Sophia, to the characters, but she still mostly knows the Fab 5 and Nemo. I have my work cut out for me!

Your mom did a fabulous job on the Bo Peep costume! What a great idea!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. My niece was premature like your daughter, so I definitely know how that is. I have found that Veronica's attention span is longer with sing alongs because they are constantly music, so that has been the best way for me to introduce her to all the characters. We'll see how it worked. I will start a new report when I get back, so keep an eye out!
