...is absolutely hysterical!! I saw this on Wednesday night and I thought it was great...much, MUCH better than LKII. I don't want to post any spoilers, but I thought it was very creative.

Thanks Donna!!

I think we will be pre-ordering this this weekend, so we can surprise DS with it next weekend on vacation!

Hey, I'm sure you're sorry your missing it, but it's snowing here, again!

I saw it that night too! It cracked me up, and I'm not even a big fan of Timon and Pumbaa. It takes the whole first movie and turns it upside down.

Oh cool! I saw it advertised on TV and wanted to purchase it, I'm glad it's good! Maybe I'll get it for Valentine's Day too! As long as I still get chocolates that is! LOL!

:D DS can't wait to get this on Tuesday (okay, okay, and mom is excited too ;) ).

My daughters have already asked for it. I think it looks like it will be really cute.

I have seen a preview too and so have my kids 17, 13 and 4 and we all agree...Loved it !! Totally different from Lion King 2. Definately pick up a copy and have a popcorn movie night with the kids. (Or even just yourself!) :) :)

This doesn't come out until next week, right? So no chance of renting it this weekend?

I wondered if this sequel was really necessary, but I thought it could work like "Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead."

I might have to rent it. Just no "Cinderella III" please...ew... :)

My big concern has been if it would be any good or not. I hate it when Disney make a "sequal" just to make a buck and there have been a bunch of them in past years. "Little Mermaid II" is a good example of a well maid sequal, but others have not only been lame, but the quality didn't look much better than a Saturday morning cartoon. (Think: "Tarzan & Jane")

So I guess that's what I've been wondering. It sounds as though it's enjoyable from a plot perspective and that's a MAJOR plus. What about the quality otherwise?

Thanks for any opinions.

It is definately a good movie. I saw a demo copy of the movie and that it was great. I think it is the best made for video movie Disney has put out. It works well with the original. It fills in some holes that you did not really know were there. shows why somethings happened in the first movie.. I think it is a must see.

I previewed it as well and loved it! It is REALLY funny -- laugh out loud funny. It was very well made, and done in a way that adults will like it as much as kids. Adults will see all the jokes that tie in to Lion King 1 and kids will get a kick out of Timon and Pumbaa. I can't figure out why they didn't call is LK 1/2 instead of 1 1/2 tho.. oh well :)

My DD will be getting this for Valentines Day. Can't wait to watch it!

DH and I thought this looked like fun too, so we plan to buy it this week!
