Today we’re going to BB. We were at the bus stop by 8.30am to find that the times had changed for TL and BB!!! We went back to the lobby and went and got 2 croissants and 2 triple chocolate muffins.

The first BB bus came at 9.15am. So we hopped on and were there by 9.30am. We had to wait for half an hour. We got in eventually:rotfl2:. We left our bags and towels on the sun chairs. Ellie and I were so eager to get on the chair lift to get on the best ever water ride: Family Raft Ride (Team Boat Springs.) Then we climbed up the 1,000 steps. Hopped onto the Raft Ride again and we got it to ourselves. Next was the Lazy River, Mum and Dad in tubes Ellie and I swam as usual. Next we stopped off at the Runoff Rapids. Mum and Dad had to climb to the top with the double tubes!!!

We rode that twice and Ellie and I swapped with whom we went with. Then we walked round to the Toboggan Racers. Mum won first time round Dad won second time. Apparently Dad went too soon according to Mum but she can’t really say anything as she cheated last time we went to BB:rotfl2:

We then went the whole way round the Lazy River. Then Ellie and I went on the ski patrol. The CM who was minding one of the columns had to ask me how old I was and I said I was 12 as there is an age limit. Then we headed into the pool to get some PPP’s done.

Lazy River to Team Boat Springs to find it was shut and then we decided to go home. We had to wait for 35minutes until the next POR bus came along. When we got on this little boy had to stand up on the bus. He must have only been 6 years old.

We had a great day at BB, as always, we love our own little touring plan we have!

One thing that I noticed a lot on this trip that really annoyed me was the lack of people giving up their seats on buses for children. As Jess said a little boy of about 6 had to stand, Ellie had found a seat but the rest of us were standing but right near this little boy were several youngish able bodied men

We went and got changed and went straight to DTD on the boat. We went to Earl of Sandwich. Afterwards we went to Goofy’s candy co. and spent 11 snack credits as we had 18 left!!! The rice krispie cakes took forever to be made and then we bought fudge and presents for friends!!!

We went to once upon a toy and we were looking for Disney CD’s. Then 2 BBB girls sprinkled us with the pixie dust!! We then went through to World of Disney no I (Mickey head) NYC t-shirts but instead we brought UNO for our little friends who were looking after our rabbits.

Then we walked down to Mickey groove to look for the t-shirts for my cousins still. Then we went to Virgin. Bought loads like normal:rotfl2: Bus Bays on the west side were being refurbished and so no buses were going to and from there. So we had to walk all the way to the market place and got the boat home.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned the T-Shirt saga yet, at some point early on in the trip I saw some really cute I (mickeyhead) NY (instead of I heart NY) Well my Dsis moves to NYC at the end of this month with my 2 baby nephews and I though it would be a good present. Well I just couldn’t find them after that first time, why didn’t I buy them then!!!!

I was very happy when we got into POR lobby and we found that we had a parcel from Z?? What is it???

A TEST TRACK MAGNET OMG it is so cool on our fridge!!!

Thanks Z

We then had the longest swim ever!!! 10minutes :rotfl2:

We were at the Poly 2 minutes before our photo pass photo shoot was due!!! Just as we were about to head outside the heavens opened and the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen started. Then the thunder and lightening! They kindly rescheduled our shoot for tomorrow though!

Here is what we got to do!!!

So we decided to explore the Poly as we would head over to the GF for our dining reservation but there was thunder and lightening and the monorail was stuck so none could get through!!! Apparently it happens all the time.

So there was no transport to the GF, we asked if the Poly reception could get through to the Narcossee’s desk!! Whilst we were waiting we saw this lady handing out Lays (not the crisps the Hawaiian things.)

Ellie and I were having fun and messing around with them and Dad snapped a few pictures.

Once the storm had stopped a little we got on the monorail with a million other people :lmao: We got to Narcossee’s on the monorail as it started to work. We walked through loads of puddles but we got there with a lot of squelching and squeaking.

Our table was put in the middle of 1 massive family and there was shouting and peering over us whilst we were eating our dinner!!

We ordered:

Mum: Main-Filet Mignon, Dessert-Key Lime Crème Brulee and Beverage- Lemonade
Ellie: Main-Filet Mignon, Dessert-Key lime crème Brulee and Beverage-Fanta
Dad: Main-Steamed Lobster, Dessert-Shortcake and Beverage-Coke
Me: Main-Filet Mignon, Dessert-Key lime crème Brulee and Beverage-Fanta

With Ellie and Mine’s Fanta we got a Mickey shaped straw!! It was really cool. Whilst eating our food we saw the water parade go across and then it started as we hopped onto the monorail as I hate boats in the dark.

The photoshoot was a total washout, thankfully they refunded my money and rescheduled! I was so looking to our meal at Narcoossee’s, admittedly the food was gorgeous, David loved his lobster but where we sat was horrendous! Our table for 4 by the window, so a lovely view of the MK, was in the middle of a table of 8 on one side and a table of 6 on the other. Well we soon realised that they were together and the children were so badly behaved. They literally were shouting over the top of us to each other. Dancing and running round our table and the parents did nothing! I went and spoke to a server but apparently because we had already ordered our meals they couldn’t move us :headache: We did see several servers wander past our table to see whether we were telling the truth and about 5 minutes later the manager came and spoke to us. He said he would try and move us and gave us complimentary wine. Just as dessert arrived they finally left and we had our lovely peaceful meal. It does annoy me though that you pay, or use 2 dining credits, for a “posh” restaurant and it’s spoilt by other people. Maybe it’s me but if my children can’t behave in a restaurant then I won’t dine there until they can, maybe I’ve just been lucky that I can take my girls anywhere :confused3

We then went to MK and we got onto Buzz quickly as it was a walk on before settling down to watch Mum’s favourite thing about Disney, Wishes. Well we were joined with our best friends the Ducks!!! They were hilarious, when there was a big bang they jumped, and then they started to sing along with the music! It cracked us all up :rotfl2:

Then we went home and went to sleep for a great day tomorrow.

I really do love Wishes and having the ducks perform too really was funny!

I have to agree woth your comments about the buses and lack of manners at restaurants :sad2: such a shame !

I always wish that I had bought something when I first see it as you can never seem to find it later

Another great day. :goodvibes

Where did you watch Wishes from with the ducks????

Where did you watch Wishes from with the ducks????
If you walk across the bridge from Tomorrowland to the main hub there is a little walkway off to the left. We had it almost to ourselves so a fantastic view and extra entertainment from the ducks too :rotfl2:

Sounds hilarious - I must try that in September. :thumbsup2

Lovely report. I have learnt from trip reports, if you see it, buy it as so many people have said they cannot find things later. So naturally ended up buying quite a lot of things.:rotfl: Shame about the dinner, I totally agree I wouldnt have taken my lads anywhere if I knew they would be naughty, luckily they have always been well behaved.

We have never been to the water parks,as i have a fear of water(but i like swimming pools).I love your family pics-they are lovely :thumbsup2 .What a shame about your dinner being ruined.I have the same views as you Jo,but like you thankfully i have never had a problem and Emily is only 3.x.
