The lazy TR, I'm making my 12 y/o write it LOL ~~~Finally Finished 4/12~~~

I don't blame you for being nervous driving in the storm, it must be nerve-wracking driving Stateside even without all that rain interfering. Glad you guys managed though and got to your shops and back safe and sound. :goodvibes

Wow Jo, you are a brave one, aren't you? I would have NEVER driven in that mess on the wrong side of the road. :lmao: ;)

Sounds like you got some decent deals - although I'm super surprised you didn't find Target that great. Now, I'm curious about your Tescos store. :scratchin:

I assume cough sweets are cough drops??:confused3

Your driving should have fit in perfectly with the taxi drivers! Remember my ride from hell?:rotfl2:

Great Updates Jo & Jess !! Can you use the American Guitar Hero on your British Wii ? I thought the Amps were different ??

Sorry, I'm a little late chiming in! :rolleyes1 Such a fun update with the whole Orlando experience! Glad everybody found a little something to take home! ;) Really enjoying it all you two! :goodvibes

WTG Jo, Driving on the wrong side of the road and you are all in one piece!:cool1: ALthough I did :rotfl2: at the getting in the car on the wrong side!:lmao:

we decided to move on and go to the super target!! Everyone said they live on Target we didn’t think it was that good it seemed like a massive Tescos (our local groceries store.)

I know what you mean. I adore Target, but I use it mostly for holiday decorations, frames, towels, and drug store items, which is probably NOT what you were looking for.

Tomorrow is our favourite park EPCOT woooohoooo :):):yay::yay:

Yeah, but it was supposed to be at TL with me. Darn that Fay. :headache: :sad1:

We walked to the car, OK ran a bit because it was raining, and me keys in hand went to get in the right hand door, uhhhh the steering wheel is on the left silly woman :rotfl:

I love this! :rotfl: (Not that I wouldn't do it at your house...)

Anyway I soon found the correct door and after a quick look at how things worked we were on our way, pretty slowly I must say. Oh I must point out this was my first time driving an automatic car too!

Just out of curiosity's sake, why didn't David drive? D would never let me take the wheel in the UK... :rolleyes1

Wow Jo, you are a brave one, aren't you? I would have NEVER driven in that mess on the wrong side of the road. :lmao: ;)

Heck, I would barely have done it on the RIGHT side of the road.

(Not true, really - I'm a pretty good bad-weather driver.)

I'm back on board!

:)

May I just say that you and your sister have a great taste in music! I own both of the CD's that you bought, and love them to pieces.

Looks like you went the day that we left WDW :(

Hey, wait a minute.......I thought we drove on the "right" side & you drove on the "wrong" side of the road!!! :lmao: :rotfl2: Did that rain ever give up while you were there???? :confused3 It's sounding just brutal.

Jo correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the British side of driving dates from when they rode horses and had to do with the best side of the road to be on to draw your sword ! Am I correct (notice I am leaving out left or right !!):rotfl2: When I first came over I always got confused with side to get in a car:lmao:

I was brave wasn't I :rotfl2: I was so pleased when I returned the car though!!!!

Wow Jo, you are a brave one, aren't you? I would have NEVER driven in that mess on the wrong side of the road.
I didn't want to lose any money though, you know me with money :rotfl2:

Sounds like you got some decent deals - although I'm super surprised you didn't find Target that great. Now, I'm curious about your Tescos store.
Have a look at Tesco.co.uk and see what they stock :thumbsup2

I assume cough sweets are cough drops??:confused3
Well if cough drops are candy for sore throats etc then yep :rotfl2:

Your driving should have fit in perfectly with the taxi drivers! Remember my ride from hell?:rotfl2:
I sure do and hey I was much better than that :rotfl2:

Great Updates Jo & Jess !! Can you use the American Guitar Hero on your British Wii ? I thought the Amps were different ??
Rosie the Guitar Hero was for the Nintendo DS, the US games work on that the Wii don't though!

Sorry, I'm a little late chiming in! Such a fun update with the whole Orlando experience! Glad everybody found a little something to take home! Really enjoying it all you two! :goodvibes
I didn't think it was fun at the time :rotfl2:

WTG Jo, Driving on the wrong side of the road and you are all in one piece!ALthough I did :rotfl2: at the getting in the car on the wrong side!
It's amazing how much you do is habit, like getting in the right hand door :rotfl2:

I know what you mean. I adore Target, but I use it mostly for holiday decorations, frames, towels, and drug store items, which is probably NOT what you were looking for.
We did pick up some US food though which was good!

Yeah, but it was supposed to be at TL with me. Darn that Fay.
One day we'll get there

I love this! :rotfl: (Not that I wouldn't do it at your house...)
It was funny, I just naturally went to the right hand door :rotfl2:

Just out of curiosity's sake, why didn't David drive? D would never let me take the wheel in the UK...
Because he's a wimp :rotfl2: He said he would try next time though!

I'm back on board!
:wave2:

They especially loved getting Camp Rock as that wasn't out here in the UK :thumbsup2

No you drive on the wrong side :snooty: :rotfl2: And the rain did eventually stop but I think we had 5 solid rain days :sad2:

I've never heard that Rosie but it makes perfect sense, so that does mean us Brits are right and the Americans are wrong :rotfl2:

TE notice Jess put her own photos in this time :rotfl:
And she did a marvelous job! :thumbsup2

Jo Of course it means the Brits are correct !!:lmao: We had roads first so the side to drive/ride on was our choice !!:rotfl2:

I think you are very brave to have attempted the driving. I don't know that if I was in the UK in a storm that I would drive.

If I ever get a minivan, I'll happily drive you around! :thumbsup2 Not that I'm thinking about it, but I would. :goodvibes

And she did a marvelous job! :thumbsup2
Thanks TE, she's learning from a master :rotfl2:

Good job they didn't have one of those before I drove :rotfl2:

Most definitely Rosie :rotfl2:

I think you are very brave to have attempted the driving. I don't know that if I was in the UK in a storm that I would drive.
Thanks, your roads have lots of different rules to us which was a bit scary

If I ever get a minivan, I'll happily drive you around! :thumbsup2 Not that I'm thinking about it, but I would. :goodvibes
Thanks, I think, :rotfl2:

Listen, I didn't enjoy driving in Fay.... AND I LIVE HERE!!! :worship: Mad props to Jo for taking on driving in the States at all, let alone in Orlando. We've been wanting to visit England and tour the Lake District for years. Know part of what stops us? Fear of driving on the "other" side of the road.

You give me hope Jo. :thumbsup2

Thanks V, the Lake District huh, very pretty but very windy roads, much better to walk it :rotfl:
