I knew it could come to this!!!!

I've been talking my mom into upgrading to a Moderate when she goes to visit my brother this weekend but of course everything is booked because it's a holiday tomorrow and I guess people are taking off for the week.

You will be happy at home and won't regret the decision!!!

LOL, I know that people are getting whiplash from my constant changing around, but I just feel better about this decision. I was ready to book the flight with Southwest and just decided that the drive is 8 hours one way. Going to Raleigh is 2 hours, plus getting there 2 hours early, and 2 hours in flight, and possibly more than an hour to get to POP. It was going to be a wash, really. I took that money for the resort upgrade.

So, I wasn't finished. I changed ADRs again.

I canceled The Plaza.

And added tea at the Grand Floridian.

Tarzankat's pictures on her Facebook page had me thinking. . .why not?

I truly am excited and I think I will do the grand tea. After all, tea coupled with a glass of champagne? I can't think of a more perfect thing to do!

I did the tea twice when I was living there. I did it once with my mom (she and I were the guinea pigs at it) after we went to the spa and it was such a success that I went back with my 2 friends who also loved it! My mom and I went in Sept and I went with the girls in Dec so the gingerbread house was there and we were in dresses which made for cute pics!!

You will love it!!!

Yay for being at POFQ I love the whole Port Orleans area!! Probably one of my most favorite places in all of WDW!!

I love Port Orleans, as well! I think in 2012, we'll be moving to the Art of Animation for more room, so it's nice to fill in more time at Port Orleans.

I'm going in. I love your other trip reports and pretrip reports. I would love to do a solo trip but DH doesnt like the idea so much. I figure in a few years he'll break down.

Anyway, I'll just follow along your solo trip planning and dream of the day when DH finally says "You know what, it sounds like a great idea that you want to go to WDW by yourself"

Thanks! Dh broke down to believe me about the trips. He kept thinking that one would be the last. Typically, he has a trip or two that ends up being a good itdea to trade off for.

Changed resorts, that is. To POP Century. And I'm not flying. I'm still going to drive.

There are 3 major reasons for the change:

1. Cost. Changing the resort like this has me PAID IN FULL!

2. Beach Club. The only way for us to swing the extra money for the Beach Club is to take what was left for the December trip to pay and put it towards the June trip. I won't go into specifics.

3. Tinkerbellarella's pictures in her Trip Report. They look so. darn. fun.

And plus, I don't intend to spend much time in the room, anyhow.

Yes, I have a sickness.

And of course, there are a few dining changes.

50 is my new favorite number. Or at least it is today. Today I celebrate 50 days until my trip. 50 days from now, I will be eating dnner at Citrico's and excitedly anticipating seeing Wishes.

50 days from yesterday, I will be driving down to Florida and staying offsite for the night.

50 days from tomorrow, I'll be entering the park for the Very Merry Christmas Party.

I am so excited about the number 50.

I'm catching up! Cute kitty!!! I read your post about the resort change lol. You will be fine with your choice. Like we said, request a building and hope for the best! 10 or 6 are my favs. 10 shares the parking lot with the main building and 6 is across from 10. Both offer preferred and standard rooms!

You will also be happy that you have a car with all of your resort meals! I missed having a car when we went to Ohana on Sunday. I figured that it cost us nearly 2 hours in traveling and that is a lot of time when you want to spend more time a the pool on your "off day"!!
